We would recommend this homestay to anyone traveling in Vietnam! - Our hostess, Houng, was super friendly and helpful with any inquiries we had about the city, places to eat, ways to get around, etc. She served us healthy and delicious breakfasts. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Her father and mother were also around to provide extra friendliness!
• Bettina (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswert wenn man eine nette, individuelle, zentrale Unterkunft sucht ohne großen Luxus - Huongs Haus ist eine sehr nette, saubere, vor allem ruhige Unterkunft in einem zentralen Viertel von Saigon. Ein leckeres Frühstück mit frischen Früchten hat mich jeden Morgen erwartet. Huong ist sehr hilfsbereit, sie spricht sehr gut englisch und ich habe mich in den Tagen dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

• Selene (8/5): - L'host è davvero gentile e disponibile. Per due mattine siamo dovuti uscire presto e abbiamo comunque potuto avere la colazione impacchettata pronta da mangiare durante il viaggio. La frutta fresca offerta ogni mattina è eccezionale.

• Jack1eC (10/5): - What a beautiful soul, Huong is. I felt so relaxed and welcome in her lovely home. She has thought of everything! The abundance of fruit & plants everywhere was very welcoming. I'm so glad I didn't choose an airport hotel.I enjoyed our breakfast chats. There are so many alleyways with local ,small restaurants. Get your walking flip-flops on and explore! I will definitely stay again. Thank you,Huong 🙏 That I didn't stay longer.

• Thomas (10/5): - Huong ist eine sehr liebenswerte Frau. Das Haus ist ein echter Homestay und sowohl die Architektur als auch die Einrichtung sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Die Lage in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße und trotzdem ganz nah am Touristenzentrum ist super. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Etwas schwierig zu finden.

Tucked away in the small alley, it offers comfort and shade...the staff is helpful, friendly... They advice you on places worth seeing in this beautiful country. Warm recommend it All was good 👍
• Elvira 23 (9/5): Loved our stay! - We had a lovely stay at Huongs. The owners are really friendly and like to have a conversation with you. Everyday we got a different breakfast, all more than we could eat. The room probably was the stylished one we had in our Asia trip. The location is in a quiet alley within district 1. Restaurants and shops nearby. For us the bed was a bit hard.
• Emmanuelle (8/5): - La maison est très bien placée, au calme dans le quartier animé et la famille est très gentille. Très bon petit déjeuner. Climatisée. Aucun bruit. Seul point négatif, dans la chambre du bas la fenêtre donne sur la pièce d'entrée à l'intérieur. Pas d'ouverture sur l'extérieur.

• James (10/5): Superb homestay in the heart of Saigon. - Huong welcomed us into her home which was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was great and nice to be able to find out a bit more about Vietnam and the Vietnamese people and culture. The location is great, within walking distance to most things we visited but nice and quiet at night. The local community spirit is strong here to. Would stay again and recommend. We had a great time in Saigon. Liked everything.

• Karen (10/5): True Homestay experience - we love you Huong and your mum and dad. - Oh my where to start - this was the best experience - the best stay of our whole holiday - How welcoming and helpful and beautiful a person is Huong. Totally inviting you to share her home and family - you will learn lots about Vietnam and Saigon from Huong. Having breakfast in her own kitchen sharing her health and food knowledge with you - getting to say good morning to her mum and dad (and cat) a total Homestay feel and cultural experience. It was more like staying with a friend. The location is ideal for travelling all around the city - every tourist sight is just a 20 minute walk away or a short grab ride away, but you are staying in the amazing alleyways of Saigon, which might be hidden to you unless you get to stay in a place like this. You will also discover lots of local little restaurants in all the neighbouring alleyways too. The room was lovely with nice personal items making it feel homely - everything you could need, lovely bathroom, large shower, a fan and air con were available. An awesome clothes rack - as Huong is actually a clothes designer - designing comfortable clothes for women. We stayed for the Lunar New Year and Huong even made us a new year diner which we shared with her family and the other guests staying here. Amazing. Thank you Huong we will be back to stay with you for sure. Feel like I made a real friend. There was nothing to not like - we loved it - but if you have animal allergies the beautiful young cat is around the home, and there is obviously no lift so you will have stairs for one of the rooms - or ask for the ground floor room. It was a little hard to find the actual house - in the alley ways - but it is actually easy to find if your taxi driver drops you off in the right place - as the taxi can’t get to the front door - but all the buildings are well numbered and the neighbours all very helpful.

• Jana (10/5): Fantastic and well located accommodation with a wonderful hostess - I loved staying in Huong’s place. It was very quiet (being in a very narrow side street/alleyway), clean, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. Huong is a wonderful host - very kind and helpful. She made great breakfast, introducing me to different kinds of traditional Vietnamese breakfast types. She really cares greatly about her guests. Highly recommend. Everything was really great.
• GEORGE NIKOLAS (10/5): - Very nice homestay, sufficiently near the center of Saigon. Has large bed, separate restroom and shower. Room is part of the house, has a common entrance - so you get to meet the whole family! Huong was a great host, speaks very good english, agreed easily on change of dates (due to my illness), prepared breakfast for me and any offered all assistance that I needed. Unfortunately I was sick during my whole stay in Saigon so I didn't enjoy the stay as much as I should - but Huong saw to making it as enjoyable as possible. Also let me point out that Huong has a beautiful line of clothing for women (mainly casual wear) which are purchasable directly from her. I forgot to take photos of the room, so I only attach photos of the breakfast and the life-saving tea & rice she made for me. 🙂 There is no door lock on the room (although I didn't think about it twice tbh)
• Michael (9/5): a good homestay with healthy breakfast - all recommendation: adjust the water temperature of the shower a bit to have really warm water. a little cupboard in the shower would help to keep showering utensils, like shampoo. The futon mattress was hard but finally comfy.
• Kamil (10/5): Recommend! - We spent here over 1 month and have only good memories! The host is wonderful person and we enjoyed local and healthy breakfasts! The location is very good, the Saigon center about 15-20 minutes walk, a lot of food stalls & restaurants & shops & services in the proximity.
