Guest Reviews
- CHRISTINE (8/5): the house was just what we needed for a relaxing break with all amenities available! - the house was just what we needed for a relaxing break with all amenities available and fenced yard for our dog a couple of maintenance areas need attending to including sliding doors in the room downstairs and blinds in the kitchen especially to block the evening western sun

- Philip (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. House had plenty of room for our family.. - Location was perfect, straight across from the beach.. Host was amazing with communication!
- Gail (6/5): Enjoyed beds comfortable but lounges needs replacing - Position Lounge dining furniture too old and uncomfortable. Crockery cutlery needs replacing.
- Karran (10/5): Perfect for families, close to all amenities, lovely home! - The location was superb, house had everything we needed to accommodate family when they visited, nice and open, close to shops, footpath across the road for lovely walks along the foreshore. Fully fenced property for your dog. Had some sporting equipment (push bikes, fishing rods, blow up boat) there to utilize, but we took our own. Lovely outdoor area to sit under to watch the gorgeous sunsets over the water. We have stayed at many different houses in Bribie, and we are super keen to book this one again and again. Property management were exceptional easy to deal with over busy Christmas period.
Great family holiday place, close to everything!
- Belinda (8/5): Great little beach shack perfectly located across from the water.. - This was your typical Bribie Island Beach Shack and we enjoyed our stay. The house had alot of character and perfectly located across from the beach. Most of the beds were very comfortable. Short walking distance to a great Cafe, fish and chip shop and large Tavern. Quiet area allowing for a relaxing stay.. Beautiful scenery. Great fishing, swimming and bike/walking track along the entire beach front. Multiple kids playgrounds, public toilets, BBQs and picnic areas along the foreshore. Plenty of off-street parking and room for the kids to play in the back yard. Even a supply of fishing rods and bikes provided if you don't bring your own. On site laundry means washing sandy beach clothes and towels is easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again if the minor issues are rectified. Unfortunately the bedding arrangements depicted on the booking site didn't reflect the physical set-up on arrival and my boys were very disappointed to not be sleeping in bunk beds. Also two double beds had been replaced in 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds instead. Luckily we were able to still fit in. The queen bed and single bed that replaced the bunks are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The lounge suite in the main lounge is terrible and gave us all sore backs and necks. Suggest this is replaced. Need to fix a couple of dining chairs too. A 2nd TV wouldn't go astray either so kids and adults can watch appropriate shows. There were 6 of us and we managed fine with one toilet and bathroom but the house caters for 9 (previously 11) so don't know if it would be the same if the house was at capacity.
- Donna (6/5): Fantastic location. Facilities need updating. - Location was amazing. Cooking appliances were grungy and Teflon all lifting. Had to buy our own frying pan to cook on.
King bed was very uncomfortable. Shower needs an update. Lounges not comfortable to sit on. Previous guests filled the bin, so there wasn't much room for our rubbish and the bins really stunk.
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Maya (8/5): Perfect home away from home - Such a cute little property, felt like home away from home. The river across the road was perfect and the beach gear was great to use There was some sand in the beds under the covers but besides that it was perfect.
- Christopher (8/5): The premises were wonderful, clean and comfortable, easily accommodating our 7 family members. - Excellent location close to Sylvan Beach and park facilities The Wheelie Bins were full to capacity when we arrived, we contacted the real-estate who said they would have the bins emptied, this never happened. It was 4 days for the garbage collection and 11 days for the recycling collection, disposing of our garbage and recycling was a problem.
- George (8/5): Very good - We supplied our own food
- Molly (10/5): Exceptional -
