• John (10/5): An excellent place to stay; I hope to return one day - The flat is very comfortable and has a beautiful view of the sea. We were able to rest very well and Mohab very kindly helped us with many things. It's very good value and I recommend it. A bit far to walk from the shops, but it's a nice walk.
• catherine (8/5): nous etions hors saison,semble t il donc seul dans l'hotel. experience cependant bonne - la vue de la chambre, être seule dans l'hôtel, l'appartement était propre, dommage qu'il manquait de la vaisselle, une passoire par exemple serait le bienvenu et des bols, ainsi qu'un saladier le jeune homme qui nous préparait le petit déjeuner est consciencieux et dévoué malgré sa retenue le hall sentait un peu le pipi de chat, le personnel avait l'air perdu quand on est arrivé, mais tout s'est arrangé après le coup de fil au gérant ( je suppose) les messages laissés au gérant sont restés sans réponses et nous n'avons pas eu le bonheur de le voir

• Francesco (6/5): Hotel spartano appena fuori il centro - Struttura spartana ma con vista mare e balcone. Colazione senza pretese. Spazi esterni da curare meglio. La location dovrebbe essere più curata, all' esterno soprattutto. Il personale dovrebbe parlare più inglese per migliore comunicazione, lo staff è "assente" o quasi. Al check in ho dovuto attendere nonostante avessi avvisato del mio orario di arrivo. Non ho mai incrociato il proprietario ma solo il collaboratore che preparava la colazione la mattina. Il posto è un po' fuori mano ma con 15 Min di passeggiata si arriva in centro.

• Angela (7/5): - Sea view house is nice for the sea view and the bikes you can rent. The owner was nice and helpful and also the staff. As Marsa Alam is not so frequented by backpackers but used to all inclusive tourists, getting around is complicated and they want to sell you all inclusive tours for every thing to visit. But there are also beautiful beaches around you can reach without a tour by taxi or bike. If you stay at sea view house absolutely go to visite Turtel Watch 2.0. It's just around the corner (you can find it on google maps) and they do a wonderful project around turtles and are very friendly. The place is a bit run down. Might have seen better years. Getting around in Marsa Alam is complicated. Taxis charge a lot to tourists and there are no public buses or transports.

Große Terrasse mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Abseits der Touristen, das Alltagsleben der Menschen dort war im nahen Stadtzentrum zu erleben. Trotzdem die Möglichkeit touristischer Highlights. Si trova in una zona degradata, affianco ci sono edifici a pezzi e la strada non è asfaltata. Non c'è nulla attorno di servizi e quei pochi che si possono trovare sono per egiziani, non adatti a turisti. Non ci siamo sentite al sicuro in nessun modo. Le condizioni igieniche del luogo lasciano estremamente a desiderare. Non andateci

• AREUM (10/5): 괜찮습니다 - 숙소 괜찮았습니다. 엘레베이터는 없고 계단 이용해야합니다. 방은 편안했고 뷰가 정말 예뻤습니다. 전자레인지, 포트, 하이라이트(인덕션), 식기류가 모두 있어 요리해먹기에도 편했습니다. 간단한 쌀과 계란, 과자, 물 파는 슈퍼가 호텔에서 나와 왼쪽으로 1분만 가면 있습니다. 그리고 이용해보진 않았지만 숙소에서도 투어를 진행합니다. 인드라이브 택시잡기는 힘들었지만 시내에서 밥 먹고 택시 불러달라고 해서 타고 왔었습니다.

• Sandra (3/5): Unzumutbar, keine Erholung - Das einzige was uns gefallen hat war die Lage und die Ruhe Mehr positives gibt es leider nicht zu berichten. Wir hatten eigentlich mehr erwartet, auf Grund der Bilder und Bewertungen Beim Check in war erstmal keiner zu finden, als dann endlich jemand da war konnte er kein Englisch und wir mussten uns mit Google Übersetzer behelfen. Der Inhaber war wohl im Krankenhaus. Bettbezüge und Handtücher nicht sauber, kein Mülleimer vorhanden, der Kühlschrank versifft, man wollte nichts rein stellen. WLan funktioniert nicht. Wäscheständer verrostet.Die Auflagen auf den Stühlen im Garten waren schmutzig und nass, man wollte sich da nicht drauf setzen. Wir haben uns dann die Polster selbst umgedreht um irgendwo einen Platz zum Frühstück zu haben Es gab aber es nichts zu trinken zum Frühstück. Das Besteck mussten wir erstmal selbst reinigen. Dachterrasse abgeschlossen, nicht nutzbar. Der Garten allgemein unaufgeräumt, ebenso wie das Shisha Zelt. Gott sei Dank hatten wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht.

• Noam (2/5): Mauvais expérience - C'est difficile de laissé une mauvaise mais je ne vois comment j'aurais pu mettre plus de 2. En positif : la vue sur la marina et le personnel sympathique (peu croisé), la taille de la chambre et c'est à peu près tout. À notre arrivée, notre chambre n'était pas prête ( ce qui n'est pas très grave) nous avons attendu 10 minutes le temps qu'il '' nettoie'' la chambre. Lorsque que nous nous installons nous constatons que la chambre est malgré tout encore très sale. (sol, grosse couche poussière, micro ondes et frigo sale, tout les meubles collant etc). Cuisines quasiment sans ustensiles, peu pratique, sale. Les matelas et oreillers ne sont vraiment pas confortables. Le personnel, bien que souriant, ne parle quasiment pas anglais. Nous n'avons pas pu rencontré la personne en charge des excursions, difficile d'obtenir des tarifs ou informations malgré nos questions par whatsapp. Le petits déj pas incroyable, sur 4 matins nous n'avons pu en prendre que 2 ( nous avions demandé à l'avoir à 8h car nous devions partir en plongées à 8h20, une fois il a été servi 2min avant notre départ avec du pain rance, et le lendemain nous n'en n'avons pas eu du tout...). Bref grosse déception. Pourtant ayant l'habitude de voyager, souvent à l'économie et pas toujours de manière confortable, c'est un des pires logements que j'ai pu avoir lors des voyages.

• Giovanni (8/5): A wonderful stay made perfect by the people and the experiences - We had a fantastic stay at Sea View House. While the hotel is not in the city center and the building isn't brand new, these things were minor compared to the overall positive experience. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the port and the sea, and the area was very peaceful and quiet. The only small drawback was that the bathroom was a bit small. What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. Throughout our entire vacation, every staff member was incredibly kind and helpful. They were always ready to provide us with directions, support us with our needs, and make our stay comfortable. The hotel also offers convenient services like arranging tours and transportation to and from the airport. We used their tour organization service twice and were very pleased. Our first excursion was a sea trip with Mohammed. If you get the chance to stay here, you must ask for him! He made our day truly wonderful. He guided us, explained the local culture, prepared food and water, and took us snorkeling. He took care of us all day with a calm and serene demeanor and a constant smile. He speaks good English, and we genuinely enjoyed spending the day with him. For our second excursion, the hotel organized a desert adventure for us (quads, camels, jeep tour, a visit with Bedouins, etc.), and we had an absolute blast. The hotel owner, Mohab, who speaks excellent English, came with us. He supported us throughout the trip and, to be honest, it was clear he was having a great time too! Also, Mohab has launched his own tour agency called Recap Travel. You should look them up on social media as well. Finally, a special mention must go to Hassan. He works for a taxi agency the hotel uses and was our driver for most of our stay. He is an excellent driver—cautious, very attentive, and always engaging and helpful. He always has a smile on his face, and we were extremely happy with his service and would recommend him to anyone.
• Youhanna (1/5): نادم علي أختياري لهذا المكان - .لم يعجبني شئ بالمرة أولا لم أتناول أي أفطار في مكان الأقامة ولقد غادرت المكان بعد قضاء ليلة واحدة وكانت غير سعيدة من حيث أن المكان لأ يصلح أن يكون سكن لمضيفين لأنه أقرب أن يكون سكن شعبي ولأ أدري كيف Booking.com أضافت هذا المكان للتسويق فكان يجب معاينته قبل أضافته ولأ أنصح أي أحد بالذهاب اليه حيث يقع بين كتله وكثافه سكانية والأطفال يلعبون في الشارع أمام المكان حيث الضوضاء تصل اليك في غرفتك والحمام لا يخضغ لاي قواعد صحية ولا يوجد مياة ساخنه حيث السخان معطل ولا يوجد اي supplies في الحمام مثل الصابون والشامبو وأيضا لوحة الكهرباء المغذية للغرفة متروكة بدون باب والأسلاك خارجه منها حيث تعتبر خطر يؤدي للموت أذا تلامس معها أي أحد والنظافة العامه للغرفة سيئه وفرش السرير أيضا ولقد غادرت المكان وطالبت بارجاع نقودي حيث نادم علي هذا الأختيار المرشح لي من قبلكم حيث أنه موجود علي موقعكم.

La pulizia non era il massimo, l hotel aveva una mobilia un po' trascurata e rotta, una coppia di amici ha avuto continuamente problemi con il condizionatore che non funzionava, con il wifi, e con la corrente elettrica che continuamente andava via.
• XIAOQI (6/5): A quick one night stay for us, not worthy. - The owner and staff were friendly. It’s not a great location, and surprisingly there was no toiletry in the room at all. The bed is not comfortable and a lot of noise during sleep and in the early morning. Sorry, there is nothing stands out.

• Alain (10/5): Endroit authentique - Bon accueil du personnel, endroit très calme, vélos a disposition, une équipe de taxi a disposition et toujours a l'heure. Mohab a été très amical et nous a fait découvrir son pays d'une façon très naturel. Endroit authentique. Petite épicerie juste à côté, pour dépanner. Pas très loin du centre et peu chere en taxi. Si on reviens a Marsa Alam on reviendra au see view hotel. La douche manque un peu de pression, mais c'est suffisant, on est en Egypte et faut en tenir compte. Peut être un peu plus de vaisselle mais cela dépend si vous vous servez de la cuisine.

• Lorenza (8/5): Nice and simple apartment in front of the marina - We have been provided with a nice and simple apartment, with a small kitchen, fridge, two rooms and bathroom. Big spaces, perfectly working AC, nice balcony with view on the marina of Marsa Alam. Staff was super welcoming and ready to support us with our requests and needs. They also are about to start a service of excursions in the nearby area, also with the boat…. The position will help a lot with that! The room was ok! Just a suggestion: provide the rooms with hand soap and dish soap

• Andrew (6/5): An okay stay - Our host was very helpful during our stay and looked after us when we wanted to find restaurants in the area. The host also helped with our breakfast one morning by making sandwiches for us as we were too early for the breakfast. There was also bikes available to rent for a small price to get you into the main area in Marsa alam as it about 25 minutes walking from the accommodation. You are right opposite the Marina in Marsa Alam and the garden out the front is nice. It is a gated community and outside is looked after. While the host was very pleasant and did everything to help us during our stay we did have some issues. We found it a little odd that the host was away during our stay for business granted but the host had 2 very young boys looking after the whole place during this time, They were no more then 13/14 years old while this is normal in Egypt it just felt a little weird that the host was away and left these two young lads to look after the place. We also had some issues with our room during our stay. The photos really do not live up to the standard when you get there. The kitchen cabinets had cracked glass, we did not have a bin in room, the rubbish was never emptied during our stay. There were no additional blankets in the room and it was a little cold. The wifi was quite poor for reception and the toilet seat fell apart in our first night. Additionally, it can be quite loud out on the street bring ear plugs. This accommodation is located in a remote part of Marsa alam with derelict buildings all around. While the host was lovely over the phone and really helped us out at certain times. I do think some work needs to be done here to bring it upto the standard it suggests.
• Dario (7/5): Good for a short holiday - The house is big with two bedrooms and a balcony. Plenty of wardrobes to put your stuff in. Little kitchen and good lights in the house. The staff was kind and always ready to help you if you needed. They organise trips and taxi transfers. Unfortunately the location is far from the center and no big supermarkets nearby. The sea view from the bedroom was nice but the building is surrounded by abandoned resorts and unfinished big buildings all around. The house needs renovation. The pictures don't match the reality.
• Jay (10/5): A heart warming little gem of a hotel - What I like most about sea view House… where to start ? 1st off, the host is one of the nicest human beings I have come across in Egypt. The room was clean and tidy. Location wise it was perfect for my needs, which was a stop gap whilst waiting to board a liveaboard. WIFI signal was superb which was a godsend, in fact I would have paid the price of the nights stay just for the WIFI.

The area is also nice, in front of the sea and a small port where you can take the ferry to Dolphin Lagoon. The host is very kind and welcoming, always available to help. If you needed anything, he took care of it promptly. Maybe some Water bottles in Room would be nice, otherwise all well.

Gave me good advices. I booked the Deluxe Room with sea view which was actually a spacious apartment with a kitchen and living area and a spacious bedroom. From the bedroom is an amazing sea view and a balcony. In the apartment is all what is needed. It was very clean. Every morning was prepared a breakfast plate with a good variety of cheese, cold cuts, bread and salad. Also would be possible with fruits, if one asks for. The breakfast was until 11h a.m. The service and the food was great. Thanks very much to Hassan. The breakfast could be taken on the terrace. Really nice place to stay when one is looking to relax and like it quiet. The hotel is 25 min walk away from the city center of Marsa Alam. There is no beach for swimming close to the hotel. The public beaches are a few kilometers far away. The hotel provides a transfer to the city center and also to the beaches for economic prices. It is a quiet area there.

• Rudolf (9/5): Marsa Alam for travellers - Very quiet location, in front of the sea, with fantastic view of the reef. Very good location if you plan to take boat trip to the house of dolphins because the port is just a short walk. Place was clean for Egyptian standards. Kitchen was equiped with fridge, stove, microvawe and electric kettle, but few utensils. However eating out in the town of Marsa Alam is very cheap with variety of restaurants, so we never cooked. The breakfast was same every day, but if you ask for something else like fruit and yoghurt, they will make it available for the next day. The city center is about 1.5 km distant, i.e. 15 minute walk, but you can go with local taxi (blue and white) for about 1 Euro (50 EGP at January 2024). In the surroundings there are a lot of unfinished constructions, like in the rest of town, but they are not obstracting sea view.

The staff also made my stay different Muhab is very helpful and decent also he organized for us the trips and transportations in the city , and the HK Noha was a very kind and joyfully. Overall the experience was magnificent, the staff, the view and the calmness everything exceeded my expectations.

Nice local neighbourhood away from the resorts, will get you the authentic experience. Walking distance from town. And of course the view! If was all great, taking the price into consideration

• Jakob (9/5): Superb - The owners are very friendly and helpful. The Apartment was quite big. I had nice experience and one of the best Gabbana I have ever had. It is a simple Apartment, a small kitchen with enough things to prepare a breakfast. The location is a bit away from the center, but transport is no problem. The restaurant area is nice and you always have a little wind from the sea. This is important in Egypt during summer. It is also a nice place for families... If you want to see more of Egypt. As I told, it is a bit far away from the center. Transport is easy, just ask for it...
