• Mike (4/5): Disappointed - The location is fantastic with everything within walking distance. View was very good. Bed was very uncomfortable with no quilt cover, just a sheet. No lamps provided, not even next to the bed. Very limited supplies in the kitchen, the pot/frying pan were very used and scratched. Having to leave the sliding door open while using the toaster or cooking created a cold room, no sun on the side facing the pool.

It appeared I couldn’t even watch channel 9 without signing up to yet another app. I did not realise from the booking site that the room was inside the Mantra hotel. It would have been simpler to just book into the hotel itself but I was trying to avoid that hotel.

Privacy is not problem in these Units loved it thank you also cooking utensils n Wi-Fi very handy Location close to the Beach Ettalong Cafe Shops etc.. Access to room was not far from the Lifts n ample car parking down stairs no problems other than that yes.

• Susan (5/5): We had stayed here before but it has certainly aged badly. Very disappointed. It’s badly needs an upgrade. - The bed was comfortable and the location was good. There is a club downstairs for meals. It is very worn. There was mould in the bathroom grout. The fittings are dated. You couldn’t use the tv unless you paid even for the free to air. The table on the room was wobbling so much you couldn’t use it.

We informed BASE Holidays but they did not respond to our text message. Smell of cigarette smoke wafting in the room when door was open to balcony. Unable to spend time on the balcony due to smoke smell. Room view was not appealing (part hinterland with a brick wall and carpark view) Room cleanliness was not up to scratch No chopping board or vegetable peeler supplied in the kitchenette. Only the bare essentials.

• John (10/5): We had a lovely relaxing weekend despite some rainy weather. - The staff at BASE were lovely and allowed us to enter the apartment an hour earlier than advertised. The apartment had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The pool/sea view from the balcony was amazing! The location of the Apartments is perfect, as it is close to the beach, club, cafes shops and cinemas. . It was a very rainy on the Sunday. This turned out to be a plus as there is so much to do in Ettalong when it rains. Club next door, for meals and Entertainment. 6 Movies theatres and and indoor markets nearby and underground parking at our accomodation.

Great location and will come back if I up that way - All went well with check in and friendly service regarding keys and instructions The room I stayed in was great but for future bookings for people there was only 2 forks. I had difficulty with wifi, but that could be the operator....I didnt need tho as had enough data on my devices.

• Joanne (9/5): Lovely stay would be 10/10 if they just fix up the shower - Beautiful resort - room was lovely perfect for two people, amazing views and Lauren at Base was excellent with her advice on restaurants very helpful - fast checkout with keys left at bottom of lift loved the ease of this. The shower is terrible one of the worst showers we have ever used, I have had a knee reconstruction and getting in and out of the spa bath for a shower was very difficult and dangerous - but the actual shower spout was what the problem was so bad you couldn't get wet.

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated - Excellent location , lovely views ,pool and beach close by Club downstairs for meals . Outdoor lounge setting was great as well as the outdoor table and chairs Just a couple of issues , very limited cookware .. only one saucepan and one frypan and the fry pan was too big to be able to put the other saucepan on the element at the same time making so difficult to prepare a meal . No salt or pepper . No serviettes No face washers and only one hand towel ,instead of 2 for both basins . The balcony had not been moped and in a section all around the lounge was a sticky substance like a soft drink or something so made your feet sticky .. and there was no mop so we couldn’t clean it up , otherwise the place was very clean

• Lada (8/5): Very good - The apartment was lovely, great view, very clean and well setup. We were very disappointed when at 10.02am cleaner came in and telling us the check out is at 10am. I told her i have a little baby and I was waiting for my husband to come back. 20 min later she was back again, telling me she had to clean the room. I understand if it was busy time of the year , but mid February and Monday morning. We had such a lovely time, this was such a bad ending of our trip.
