Guest Reviews
- Thomas (5/5): Passable - -We were woken by heavy machinery at 5am (on a nearby adjacent property)
-The gum nuts and rain that dropped on the roof sounded like a hail storm.
-The rusted out bush pig bbq was very rusted out and did not feel fit to use
-The bathroom door kept catching and falling off its runners
-My partner did not like staying somewhere with an eco toilet where you can see the waste products of the previous occupants
- Tomas (10/5): Exceptional - I really enjoyed my stay. The place was clean, the bed comfy. I didnt mind the eco toilet at all, the kitchen had everything I needed. For 1 person its perfect. The AC can be a bit noisy.
- Marney (9/5): Tiny Home Virgin's - Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful peaceful location. The bed was so comfortable .
This was our first stay on a tiny home and we will definitely do it again. The only thing I would suggest to make it an even more enjoyable experience, would be to have different chairs or padded chair cushions.
- Giles (8/5): It certainly is a tiny house but had everything we needed. - Very convenient for a one night stopover. Super comfy bed. Had everything we needed. Excellent communication with host. It was all as described so no surprises … not a fan of the eco- toilet!
- Walters (10/5): Overall I enjoyed the stay very much. - I liked the location and the view as you could see the water through the window. I liked how there was little bits and pieces for us to use such as coffee, tea, oil and etc. I wasn’t a big fan of the toilet and the insects weren’t the best.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location - lovely and quiet with a gorgeous view. Easy to find + close to national parks and walks. Got quite chilly at night so was able to turn on the air conditioning. Lovely hot shower and enough facilities to make a breakfast and coffee in the morning.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Kerri (3/5): The place was pretty but we won’t come back - Quiet, bushy Host didn’t provide tea or coffee, didn’t have fridge on, didn’t have air conditioner running on an exceptionally hot day and there were no instructions for use of same.
- Jenny (8/5): Very good -
- Ella (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic view, so private, comfy bed. Good shower.
- Amanda (1/5): Bad -
- Kathryn (7/5): Sterile and efficient place to stay - Easy check in, great communicative managers, quiet, private area, clean, great location for the Tasman Peninsula, hot shower, very comfortable bed, air conditioning Compostable toilet instructions incomplete and knob that moves the toilet flap was often stuck. Fridge was not turned on prior to our arrival. Shower also leaks.
- Sharon (10/5): We had a lovely relaxing time, the area was quiet and there were no interruptions. Felt very relaxed after our stay. - Lovely setting with views of the bay through the trees. Comfortable bed and everything we required Some tall dead trees around the site were a worry in the wind. Only other complaint was the fridge was not turned on before arrival.
- Sarah (7/5): Top marks to the venue itself, it was warm clean and comfortable but no marks for the missing items without being advise - It was clean, modern, beautifully presented, easy to access and private. Directions were clearly given and correctly written As it was listed as a b&b, and publicised as such in the RACT Journeys magazine, we were quite surprised to find that there were - no tea or coffee provided, no breakfast materials provided, no milk in the fridge, no jams or spreads, no bread provided and no other food of any kind. Nor was there any hand soap, shower gel, shampoo or conditioner, or hairdryer, all things normally supplied in every other b&b we have ever stayed in. When we asked the owner if it was part of a minimalist philosophy, he said they don’t supply these things as there is not enough margin in the tariff.
Had we known this when we booked, we could easily have brought our own, however as this wasn’t mentioned it necessitated a 38 km round trip to Port Arthur to purchase said items. This was unfortunate and preventable.
- Andrew (4/5): Disappointing -
- Laura (8/5): Clean and simple accom in a beautiful part of the Tasman Peninsula. - Great location and easy enough to find if you have google maps. The tiny house is well designed and has everything you need for a comfortable short stay. We couldn’t get the hot water in the shower to work - there were instructions with the check in details which we tried but unfortunately didn’t work. There was also the option to check in with the host if we still had issues but we didn’t have time to do that before the checkout time.
- Kate (8/5): Amazing experience and can’t wait to come back - The location was amazing As it got quite cold at night, a couple more blankets could be good. And I couldn’t find a cleaning cloth to wipe down the benches
