The property had all the amenities we needed (the heated pool was particularly welcome) and Maria was a great help with anything we needed during our stay, including local restaurant and trip recommendations. We would definitely stay again. Dishwasher didn't work particularly well but this was reported and is being replaced shortly.

Its traditional architectural style adds a unique charm that makes the stay feel both cozy and special. The interior is thoughtfully arranged, with generously sized rooms and bathrooms that were impeccably clean upon arrival. It’s clear that great care is taken to maintain the house to a high standard, which made settling in comfortable. One of the standout features for our family was the swimming pool. The water was pleasantly warm, making it ideal for children to enjoy at any time of day. Evening swims were particularly magical, with the pool lights and playful atmosphere that our kids absolutely loved. There is a perfect spot for barbecues, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a coffee machine—a small but appreciated touch that made our mornings even better. Overall, this house provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable holiday. We would highly recommend it to families or groups looking for a comfortable, character-filled retreat with excellent amenities.

• Ralph (10/5): Ein wunderbares Urlaubsquartier mit beheiztem Pool - Ferienhaus, Grundstück mit beheizbarem Pool und die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerfamilie haben sich die höchste Bewertungs-Punktzahl redlich verdient. Es hat einfach für uns alles perfekt gepasst. Und wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Obwohl mitten in einem kleinen Ort gelegen, bot das Grundstück absolute Privatsphäre, wenn man sich außerhalb des Hauses aufhielt und erstaunliche Ruhe. Ein wichtiger Punkt für uns, da wir üblicherweise Grundstücke anmieten, die außerhalb von Ortschaften liegen. Die Kommunikation mit Maria haben wir zu jedem Zeitpunkt als sehr angenehm empfunden. Es blieben keine Fragen offen - alles war klar. Bilder und Beschreibung bei Booking passen zu 100%. Unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen. Alles perfekte Voraussetzungen für einen unvergesslichen und erholsamen Urlaub. Wir können nur DANKE sagen. Tipp für Restaurantbesuch: Panza Llena an der TF64 südlich von Granadilla. Hier haben wir mehrmals und jedes Mal ausgezeichnet gegessen.

• Claudio (10/5): Un charco di tranquillità - Abitazione grande, affiancata su un lato ad un altro edificio e libera sugli altri, come si vede dalle foto di Booking, con 3 camere da letto matrimoniali ed una con letti singoli. Letti comodissimi. La prima cosa che colpisce, entrando, è l'arredamento, molto bello, che ricorda le case del passato, con legno e pietra. Cucina ampia e fornitissima. Lavatrice ed asciugatrice sono risultate molto utili durante soggiorno. Tutto come presentato sul sito. Piscina pulita, riscaldata e molto apprezzata nelle giornate più calde. La casa è dotata di 2 bellissimi bagni interni ed un terzo di servizio nei pressi della piscina. Parco ben tenuto. Possibilità di cenare sotto una bellissima tettoia in prossimità della piscina. Posto auto all'interno della proprietà, molto comodo in quanto non ci sono molti parcheggi nella via. Charco del Pino è una picca località, tranquilla, con i servizi essenziali, nel raggio di pochi km ci sono poi diversi supermercati, negozi vari e ristoranti. L'aeroporto dista una decina di km. Mi è piaciuto tutto, solo le finestre non sono all'altezza dello standard qualitativo della casa e quindi da migliorare in quanto non isolano correttamente dai rumori e dal caldo/freddo.
• Raul (9/5): - El patio con la piscina, las hamacas, la mesa para desayunar y almorzar. El patio en general una gozada. Luego el estilo de la casa decorada con mucho detalle y gusto. El equipamiento de la cocina supercompleto. Resultó un completo reflejo de las fotos que aparecían en el portal. La instalación eléctrica un poco, muchos interruptores que no se sabía para que eran y pocos enchufes para poder recargar los móviles. Algunos escalones en las entradas de algunas habitaciones que daban algún sustillo. Había poca cobertura incluso del mismo wifi. Un poco calurosa la habitación que carecía de aire acondicionado.
• Agata (10/5): - Wspaniałe miejsce. Dom wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne. Bardzo dobrze wysprzątany przed naszym przyjazdem. Bardzo dobry kontakt z obsługą obiektu. Spokojna okolica. W miasteczku dwa bary, kawiarnia, apteka, dwa sklepy spożywcze z czego jeden to całkiem spory market. Jeden z pokoi wychodzi na zabudowania gospodarcze i codziennie budzi nas kogut. Dla kogoś, kto lubi pospać obowiązkowe zatyczki. Ja uwielbiałam te codziennie pobudki, bo i tak wstajemy wcześnie rano. Dom znajduje się w bardzo dogodnej części wyspy- max godzinę drogi do innych części wyspy. Na posesji mieszczą się dwa auta, choć jest bardzo wąsko. Jest to duże udogodnienie, bo na ulicy jest mało miejsca do parkowania. Pierwszy raz spotkałam się z tak wygodnymi poduszkami (używamy w domu podobnych). Dom wymaga drobnych napraw np. lampki wiszące na zewnątrz.

• Júlía (10/5): Wonderful stay with our children in sunny Tenerife - Large and well equipped. Friendly host and helpful. Could have been cleaner, we cleaned and weeded out the garden and swept it. We only had one pair of sheets for eleven days and needed to buy toilet paper, chicken towels and cloths to keep the house clean. There was not enough soap for hands or body. Neighbours played loud music, we wanted to escape the noise and stress of the touristed areas. The bathroom outside was unclean as the outside kitchen. We cleaned some of the house and garden and had a wonderful stay with our family. Just want to say this as point of things that could be improved if the host wants do do even better.

• Andreea (10/5): We would stay again. - The kitchen is wonderful, it had more than you need. The yard and the pool are wonderful. The beds are very comfortable. Nice place to eat, inside and outside on the terrace. We picked the lemons from the garden:). Easy access with the car for south region and Teide. The fire place is exceptional!❤️ There are 2 bathrooms, wonderful designed, one on the ground floor and one on first level.

• Sara (5/5): Did not meet our expectations - The house is nice, located in a very quiet village, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the southern part of Tenerife. The house has a strong smell of dampness and age. The large bedroom on the ground floor is unusable due to the odor. We found dead flies and gnats on the bed sheets. The outdoor furniture is unusable as well, as it smells bad and is covered in mold, making it unsuitable for an uncovered garden. The pool should have a filtration system, but I don’t believe it works, as the water remained constantly dirty, even at the bottom. We couldn’t use the pool even in 29-degree weather because the water was ICE COLD, making it impossible to stay in for more than a few seconds. To top it off, we found a live cockroach in one of the cupboards. For us, it did not live up to expectations, and I would not recommend it nor would I return.

• David (9/5): Lovely house in a quiet village location. - Casa Juan Vera is under new management so previous reviews mentioning the owner no longer apply - but the new owners are extremely communicative and helpful and were very concerned that we should have a good stay. The house itself is beautiful - it's an old village property with high ceilings and lots of wooden floors. The kitchen is modern and has every appliance you could want. The garden and pool are secluded and peaceful. There is parking for two big cars inside the property - you can also usually park on the street outside but it's quite narrow. We loved this house, the owners gave us a great service and we would love to go back

• Thompson (10/5): Great place for a family holiday! - This was our first foreign holiday with our 8 month old and we were so happy with our accommodation! Perfect for a family holiday. We were met on time by the owners. They had left a cake, some fresh fruit, water and a bottle of wine which we were very grateful for. Quiet location. Felt very safe. Supermarkets only 5 min drive away. Comfortable living quarters. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Highchair and cot provided for the baby. We loved the garden area so much and, with the baby, we used it a lot. We didn't get a chance to use the pool as it was a bit cool. Easy to connect to beaches, Teide National Park, etc. Off-street parking was available. Small touches, for example, provided kids toys for outside, coals for the BBQ. The online pictures don't do justice to this beautiful, characterful property. Highly recommend. Should we ever be in Tenerife again, we would not hesitate booking this place again! Only VERY minor but we ran out of soap very early on in the downstairs bathroom and a few more tiolet roll would have been great. Not a big deal as we purchased ourselves.

Mar was great, we were greeted at the property and were surprised with a cake, wine and bottled water. The property is huge with a great outside space, very clean with all the facilities you’ll need.
• Francesca (10/5): A beautiful villa which can’t be faulted - Casa Juan Vera is a mind-blowing beautiful property. it has everything you need for your stay and is a true home from home (only of course, the weather is way nicer than the UK)! The decor is gorgeous and each room has so much character to see and explore, including the outside area which provides many options to rest and relax. Everything was excellent for us! The properly is located in a neighbourhood so expect some external sounds for surrounding properties here and there!
