echt een leuke ligging met alle comfort aanwezig Communicatie met Huswell ondermaats
Enkele mankementjes: wifi functioneerde enkel op verdieping naar behoren - één airco was stuk - ook diverse lampjes stuk - microwave werkte volgens ons niet (geen gebruiksaanwijzing beschikbaar)
- Cédric (2/5): Nice apartment, but managed like a ghost ship. - We stayed in this apartment for the second time — and, unfortunately, probably the last.
The apartment itself is pleasant and well-located, but you’d better hope nothing goes wrong during your stay. Customer service is virtually non-existent. Beyond the polished but hollow replies — often reminiscent of AI-generated templates — the English-only support feels like a distant offshore team whose sole purpose is to deflect responsibility rather than solve problems.
Despite several emails and phone calls, no concrete action was taken throughout our stay. Critical issues such as the air conditioning being out of order (in the main room, during a 34°C heatwave) and the complete absence of blackout blinds in one of the bedrooms were simply ignored.
To be clear, the issue is not with the use of offshore support per se — but when cost-cutting comes at the expense of basic operational follow-up, especially for recurring and long-reported issues, it becomes unacceptable. A quick look at recent reviews reveals a consistent pattern: the same problems, the same smooth replies, but absolutely no resolution.
And if your problem happens to occur during a weekend arrival — good luck. Support channels (email, phone, chat) appear to shut down entirely.
Nice apartment, but managed like a ghost ship.
- Clint (1/5): Bad - The apartment was very clean, but some minor maintenance is needed. Several light switches didn’t work, the air conditioning wouldn’t turn on, a blind was missing in one room, and the microwave function was also broken. All of this was quite inconvenient and impractical. I tried contacting Husswell multiple times through their guest app and sent photos immediately, but received no response whatsoever. Service is completely lacking, and I wouldn’t expect quick help with issues.
- Okko (3/5): Disappointing due to very weak customer service and lacking visitor information. Wifi failed. - Great location near shops and sea We had a terrible experience with the customer service of Huswell.
And also the apartment is lacking visitor information.
- No instructions for parking, that was available in the basement. It took me two days to find out myself.
- No instructions on dealing with garbage. Huswell customer service told me to find a public garbage bin somewhere in Knokke... Later on I found out the garbage area was also in the basement.
- We could not find the washing machine. And customer service said it is in the 'storage area'...
- The wifi failed during the 4 days of our stay. Customer service did nothing to fix it except for asking to restart the router which did not help.
- The kitchen equipment is below average. Many wine glasses but limited knifes and cups for coffee and tea.
The apartment is well secured but be careful going out without a key. You won't get in anymore. You need a key to operate the lift and stairwell.
The customer service of Huswell is responding but they have no clue how to help you. They are friendly and cost you a lot of time responding but it leads to nothing. It made our stay disappointing.

blocks washing machine etc... came in handy ! Worth repeating :-)
