Peter (6/5): A two bedroom unit close to Centennial Walk - The unit is a bit far from the centre (if walking), but close to Centennial walk, the ocean baths, Bennetts Lookout and the dunes. Parking spot is under the building, a bit too tight and curvy to get in with a bigger car, but manageable. It was quiet, but then the building was nearly empty, so it's hard to tell how it would have been having neighbours next door. The balcony faces west, so it's too hot in the afternoon with blazing sun. There is no aircon or ceiling fans, it must be very hot in summer (we stayed before Easter and even then it was hot enough). There's a pedestal fan in the living room, which helps a bit. Though there's a full kitchen (even with a washing machine, but we didn't use it), it's not completely functional. Lots of staff which you will hardly use on holidays, but not enough for simple food preparation. E.g. only one "normal" pan, but so badly scratched, it's unusable. We wanted to fry some fish for dinner, but couldn't. Only one pot (but a good quality one). No cereal bowls. The oven hasn't been cleaned at all, very greasy and has charred leftovers of some previous baking, hence unusable. The keylock falls apart every time you touch it and has to be fixed.
