Guest Reviews
- Karine (6/5): - Location It’s a semi basement flat
- Jo (9/5): A great adventure - The area,Kolanaki,was a great place to stay!
Accessible to the city centre, lots of great historical monuments, museums, shops and cafes all within walking distance.
I felt very safe walking around by myself, even late at night. The heating.
One of the heaters didn't work at all and the radiators were not on at any time.It was a cold few days initially, but the weather did warm up.

- Emmanouela (1/5): Arrived late after a long journey to find the apartment uninhabitable and had to leave immediately. - This is a basement apartment, and the problem starts before you even enter. The smell of dampness and mold at the entrance is overwhelming and immediately alarming. Once inside, the situation is even worse.
The apartment has only one window at sidewalk level, directly facing the street, with a trash bin and parked motorbikes right outside. The remaining “windows” face narrow light wells or dark recesses below street level, offering no real natural light or proper ventilation.
When opening the kitchen window, we saw an external air-conditioning unit inside the light well that was visibly moldy, rusted, and in very poor condition. It is unclear whether this unit serves the apartment, but if it does, it raises serious concerns about the quality of the air inside the space.
The bathroom also showed visible signs of mold on the floor, and overall it was clear that there had been an attempt to cosmetically hide the problems rather than properly fix them.
The humidity and mold smell were so intense that the apartment felt unfit for habitation, especially for anyone with allergies or respiratory sensitivity. Due to health concerns, we stayed for approximately 30 minutes while searching for alternative accommodation and then left, as it was impossible to remain there.
We had booked the apartment for two nights. The issue was raised immediately, but the situation was not adequately resolved.
I would not recommend this property under any circumstances. In my opinion, it should be seriously inspected before being offered to guests again.
- Lorenzo (10/5): Ottimo! - Appartamento pulito e accogliente. Procedura di self check in molto semplice e ottimi i contatti con lo staff.
- Jorge (6/5): - The apartment is in a safe and quiet neighborhood close to the city center and at walking distance from most tourist landmarks. Communication with the property owners was good (emails always replied promptly). The fact that instructions on how to access the apartment (self check in) are not given until a few hours before your stated check in is particularly inconvenient when traveling from abroad. The apartment is on a basement (something that should be clearly stated in the description of the property when booking) so it is very dark (it has a single window at street level but you need the lights on all the day) and noisy when there is traffic or people standing by. The apartment also lacked amenities (no shampoo or shower gel for example) and the cleanness was not great (some kitchenware was dirty, the sofa had many stains...).

- Sara Masarone (7/5): Nice flat in a very elegant neighbourhood, walking distance from city centre, not much natural light - The apartment is small but very curated in its design. The position is very convenient, in an elegant neighbourhood, I had no problems coming back late at night as solo female traveller. It is also walking distance from the city centre. The flat is located in the basement of the building so the main downside is the lack of natural light. You can open a window but it's street level (you'd see people's feet). Communication with Alia Property was good, I only wished they communicated access instructions earlier because I arrived around 15.00 and they sent me the instructions at 14.55 ish which I thought was very last minute also considering that people travel from far and phone batteries might start to die. Also could have helped plan the day. The rest of communication was prompt. Communication for the self check in should be improved, especially as a solo traveller is quite stressful not to know how and when you'll be able to check in until the very last minute. Kitchen appliances are minimal, so not ideal if you wish to have some meals inside but perfect if you are on the go.
