Indira (9/5): Quiet, comfortable and clean. - Very spacious and comfortable apartment. Clean and has all the facilities including a clothes washer. The place is not near center of Florence - we had to take the tram to get back and forth. The tram comes frequently. Quiet place. Grocery stores near by within walking distance.
Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - The place wasxmodern and minimalust, but with everything one would need. Everything was of very satisfactory cleanliness and repair, ( though the smaller showerhead was slightly wonky) the neighborhood seemed to be the tiniest bit sketchy, but ws ok the testaurant right on the corner (Opera 83) was wonderful, (the croissants were to die for!) and the people there were incredibly helpful and kind, calling taxi for us in our time of need. The communication via Booking.com was VERY DIFFICULT. Messages were hard to retrieve, and only sometimes translated. I have had to check in individually in each place that i have stayed, repeating the process ( including the same questions w the same answers) over and over. Because email and online info has been harder to retrieve and respond to while on the road, I have felt great uncertainty and stress so far throughout my trip, as have my hosts, who conscienciously tried to contact me while i was offline due to lack of wifi and power. Booking.com's communication process, with its constant and unneccesary advertising and pop-ups have made this trip far more difficult thn it should have been. I will no longer be using this service after this trip is completed.
