• Jay (10/5): Very homely - Excellent communication from the host. The room was a good size, with a cupboard, work space and very comfortable bed. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a seating area on the main landing where I sat to eat my meals. The shower was good and the house was clean. The location of the house is excellent, with a supermarket a couple of minutes away and a good range of pubs, restaurants and other things to do within walking distance. For anything beyond the local area, there's plenty of public transport available. Very happy with my stay, would definitely stay here again.
• Sydney (8/5): Great stay, communal areas need a bit more attention to detail - Room served it's purpose and the host was kind enough to let us check out later with no extra charge. Had good facilities, comfy n clean bedroom. I would stay here again as it had everything we needed, especially being 5 min walk from our venue the Jazz cafe for our night out:) The communal areas weren't very clean, lots of dust and the sponge provided in the kitchen was in tatters n fit for the bin.

• Daniel (7/5): - Great location, friendly staff, pretty good value considering Camden can be very expensive for hotels. Water temperature is hard to get right. Either too cold or too hot. No plugs near the bed. I had the private bathroom.
• carolina (9/5): Great place if going to candem - The communication with Hannah was great.the instructions were crystal clear and The place was super clean The place is located in a main avenue what make it easily accessible but my room was located with the windows to the avenue so the traffic started early on Tuesday and was difficult to sleep.

L'hôte nous a gentiment permis de laisser nos bagages dans les parties communes du logement après avoir rendu la chambre. Cuisine bien équipée (avec thé et café à disposition) Beaucoup de points à améliorer : - chambre (chambre 2) donnant sur la route, qui est très bruyante avec du simple vitrage (et qui ne se ferme pas correctement), nous avons l'impression de dormir sur la route..., rideau non occultant - 1 seule douche et toilettes vétustes dans la même pièce pour 4 chambres, - la pièce commune ne contenait qu'une seule chaise (de bureau avec des tâches et un accoudoir cassé) - manque de serviettes de cuisine

• Max (7/5): Günstige Unterkunft direkt in der Innenstadt - Die Lage in der Stadt war gut. Es war sauber. Das WC und Bad waren ziemlich alt aber sauber. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, vor allem Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner waren super. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und es war von der Straße her sehr laut. Im Allgemeinen ist das Haus sehr alt und abgewohnt, aber für dem Preis völlig o.k.

• Foster (8/5): - The location was ideal for the event we were attending, nice comfortable bed . Fridge cooker are available in the common room . No TV , and no Milk for coffee and tea , wasnt provided. The lock for the bathroom wasn't secure enough. Very noisesy from traffic especially at night time (EAR PLUGS PROVIDED).
• Berta (9/5): - The host is great and promptly responds to every query! The kitchen is well-equiped with many amenities. The location is conveniant, everything is easy to reach by foot. Overall good price and quality ratio. Camden high is a busy street, so this could be an issue to light sleepers (good thing earplugs are provided). Also the shower sometimes requires some debugging to make it work.
• Steven (8/5): Excellent location. Excellent communications. Can be slightly noisy. - If you are visiting Camden Town/Market and the surroundings, it's a perfect location. Very good public transport by buses and the Underground. Shower worked well, bed was comfortable, the shared kitchen has everything. Oven/hob/microwave, washing machine/drier, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, fridge/freezer. It's a great kitchen, I didn't use it, but did explore and was impressed. The door PIN codes (one for the street and one for the room), mean you are free to come and go at any time without having to interact with staff. Oh, earplugs (see the next part, but they were provided.) Close to The Roundhouse and easy walking distance to a brewery. It can be slighty noisy. The Northern Line runs under the building 24/7. The building rumbles, yet being a railwayman, this was comforting. The walls are thin, so anybody next door moving, walking, using the bathroom, turning on a light switch can be heard. Room 4 has no noise from the street though. Great thing is, it's the only place I've ever stayed around the world that supplies earplugs. Strangely I carry my own too. It's a basic room (#4 - that has en-suite unlike #3), but you get what you pay for and it would have been great value if the cost was split between two. Hopefully this part of the review is still positive as I'd stay again. It's just extra information. And I could not recommend it for disabled travellers as it's one to two flights of stairs. At the same time, it's the wrong part of the city for wheelchairs.
• Inge (8/5): Weekend in London - Hannah, de gastvrouw was echt super vriendelijk. Reageerde heel snel en was zeer attent. Kleine dingen waren goed geregeld. Zoals dat er oordopjes klaar lagen aangezien je toch wel langs een drukke straat is en in een gedeelde accomodatie zit. Het bed was prima en de kamer goed schoon. Het appartement is wat donker, maar gegeven dat ik er vooral was op te slapen was dat niet heel erg.

• paul (8/5): Superb location - The location was great right on camden high street within a dangerous distance of many great food places and drinking places. Short walk from camden market and within walking distance of the local music venues The rooms were good for me but some may find them to be a bit basic in terms of a lack of en suite bathroom and finishing issues with the decorating, but then i wasn't paying for a stay at the hilton. Staff were lovely and quick to message with any questions and i will be using them again. Oh and the fan was a very welcome addition as i use one every night at home so felt very cosy The finishing touches with decorative stuff, lots of bodged jobs but nothing dangerous and everything was still functional

I would have liked to have seen a host, rather than just communicating via text, however I did find the correspondence very friendly and welcoming. Very quick to respond too.

• Robert (9/5): Perfect adres met meedenkende host en een uitstekende prijs - kwaliteit verhouding - Een een meer dan prima overnachtingsadres op een perfecte locatie op Camden Highstreet dus dichtbij Camdem Lock Market en winkels en openbaar vervoer. Zeer goede communicatie met Hannah, onze host, en eenvoudige en veilige zelf check-in. Hannah, dacht goed mee en maakte het mogelijk dat we onze kleine koffers voor de inchecktijd bij aanvang en na uitchecktijd bij vertrek in het pand konden laten zodat we maximaal van Londen konden genieten. Hannah, dank daarvoor. Een eenvoudige kamer met een prima bed en voorzien van alle benodigdheden., Wij verbleven in de kamer met eigen badkamer en hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de keukenfaciliteiten. De keuken, waar o.a. koffie en thee voorhanden waren, zag er echter prima uit. Tegenover de locatie geweldige ontbijt adres Camden Bakery (gehele dag geopend) Goede prijs - kwaliteit verhouding. We komen hier zeker terug. Feitelijk viel er niets tegen. De badhanddoeken zijn voor Engels begrip aan de kleine kant

The room was clean enough. i had some issues accessing the messages on booking.com, but I spoke to Hannah by text and she gave me all the info I needed. The owner was also extremely helpful and friendly which was really appreciated! It was quite noisy, which was expected as it is right on the high street, but it was nothing ear plugs couldn’t fix!

The floor was clean. The bathroom was clean. 1 bathroom but I for the price your paying for it’s worth it. Also having a public fridge, it would be better to have personal mini fridges in each room keep for cold & safety.i just find them way more useful on my trips personally.

• Sara (7/5): Nice and clean near Camden - The location is perfect. A 10min walk from Camden Market, right next to a shop open 24/7, on the main road but relatively quite (I went during Christmas, there weren't many people from 24 to 27 because most shops and markets were closed). The host is super nice and responsive. There was a hair drier and most importantly an adapter! I chose this room over other similar options for the cleanliness, since other (maybe more comfortable) hotels had some reviews mentioning bed bugs and dirty bathrooms.... London is quite expensive, so I tried to save money on the stay, but I think next time I would spend a bit more and get a more comfortable (and clean) hotel room. What I found deeply disturbing was the lack of a door between the room and the bathroom. Even if I was travelling with my boyfriend, it was still kinda weird. Other than that, I think it was fine.

I couldn't take a shower during the 3 days bcs at fist it gets crazy hot, then ice cold and finally water stops running at all. Disgusting! Also lights in my room was very dull. It was dark as a hell. Also no cleaning during 3 days.

• Ricky (10/5): Excellent location, good price and very comfortable - Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location in between Mornington Crescent and Camden Town tube stations. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. Yes there was noise from outside but it’s Camden Town and on the high street so of course it isn’t going to be quiet. Fantastic communication from the host was a huge plus and felt really welcoming. It’s a bit noisy even with the windows closed but I managed to sleep just fine. The wall between my room and next door was thin and I could hear their conversations and I’m sure they heard my 6am alarm. The entrance seemed a bit shabby and was a bit tired but that’s really it.

Bathroom was very basic and small, slow running water, toilet and bathroom in same room ( shared with 4 rooms) not ideal Staircase was dangerous due to loose carpet treads. In very busy location but late shop downstairs so lots of people gathering, ubers seem to use it as pick up point too, so if you like your sleep Avoid

• DIMITRIOS (7/5): Καλή διαμονή. Θα το επέλεγα ξανά μόνο αν ήθελα μία φτηνή επιλογή για 1 διανυκτέρευση. - Πολύ κοντά σε σταθμό του μετρό. Υπήρχαν κοντά μαγαζιά για φαγητό και super market. Τα σεντόνια των κρεββατιών ήταν αρκετά χρησιμοποιημένα. Αν και ήταν καθαρά ήταν πολύ χρησιμοποιημένα με αποτέλεσμα παλιοί λεκέδες να φαίνονται. Επίσης ήταν τσαλακωμένα! Το κοινόχρηστο μπάνιο ήταν σχετικά καθαρό.
