Guest Reviews
- Jann (7/5): Appreciated as a lovely concept , but I do feel it is overpriced . - The tiny house has been thoughtfully planned and nicely styled to allow for a good sized bed and shower space. The linen was white and clean , fridge really cold and the small things considered ie coat hangers / shower products/ portable stove top etc. The basics are there and well chosen. The large window to the south opened on to a nice view of the tree and sheep. The people walking down the road weren’t curious as to who was in the house so the experience felt safe and private. The location was different with sheep for company. It would benefit to put a wheel on to the entrance gate as the lever length from the hinge is long . This makes the gate very heavy. The sheep droppings were pretty concentrated for the area so I was continually stepping around them to avoid soiling the inside of the house and my shoes . I’ve refurbished a lot of two bedroom units and have left a small welcome basket for tenants with a little local information/ products ie jam / cheese/ fruit / one breakfast with small baguettes etc. For the money charged that would be welcome. I was hoping to relax of an evening and watch a movie but there wasn’t a TV or DVD. That was my fault for assuming a TV would be there. That may be against the purpose of the tiny house as a very quiet retreat though. The bed was lovely but I didn’t sleep too well with tree branches scraping on the roof during two nights. Saturday night’s rain on the roof was nice . I’ve paid a lot less though for more amenities in other places ie access to a laundry, pool , breakfast and TV but the concept is ideal for couples or singles who want to read and chat and come back to the house to shower and go to sleep early. Not sure why the ex youth remand facility still puts flood lights on all night. It might be to discourage trespassers?
- Mark (7/5): Cute place, and relatively clean - just need to replace sheets as they had some gross stains - Quaint. Clean. The sheets had stains on them.
- Kobie (8/5): Very good -
