Tired furniture, not ideal for long stay and not suitable for family - We liked the area and have always stayed there in summer when we are on holiday in London A lot of things were falling apart- bed speaker so loud even when my 6 year old turned in bed sleep. The pillows were completely flat. The water pressure inconsistent in the shower. Pots and pans heavily scratched in kitchen that we couldn’t really use. There was washing machine with drying function but not enough space for clothes that cannot be put into tub or dry. Furniture really tired and wardrobe doors almost falling apart. A door handle in bedroom did fall apart (when we arrived it was barely attached to the door) and landlord contacted me for 150 pound to fix and asked me not to go through Bookjng.com. We were traveling with 4 luggages but the rooms didn’t have space to let us open them. Overall first feel it was great value like other properties we stayed. There was no welcome pack to tell us where things are and no information given on some essentials (like where to put rubbish etc) till I asked, and the landlord seemed surprised we asked those questions. I wasn’t even told the address of the place till I chased and only got it when we landed in London and on the way to the property. The floor really squeaks when you walk on it which disturbed the poor downstairs tenants but we also can’t stop walking in the flat. So it wasn’t very pleasant stay for us. Disappointed. .

• Charlotte (8/5): Great property and stay - Great property and location The address did not have the property number included and this caused us to have to call late at night to get the property number. In the event we did not receive an answer we would not have been able to find the property on the first night. Other than this, great property, very clean and comfortable.

• Cima (5/5): Good location but basic and overpriced flat. - Good location It isn’t cheap so you would expect the standards to be higher. The amenities were poor, there was no hand towel in the bathroom, only 2 teabags and an open bottle of milk in the fridge with hardly any left and some of the mugs had been put away but weren’t clean. The whole kitchen area and amenities in the kitchen seemed unhygienic. It is marketed as being “perfect for families” but there are no bedside tables with lamps in one of the rooms and there is a huge glass table with sharp edges taking up most of the living space. The pictures on booking.com make the place look a lot nicer than it actually is. Personally for us, as a family of 3 we would not stay there again.

• Marion (9/5): It could be a perfect place to stay with a few improvements - Location was great. Communication was excellent. The house was very clean and warm. No hairdryer- no coffee, tea or milk left for the guests. Something we always get at other properties.

• Shona (8/5): Spacious Apartment in Very Good Location - Fabulous location near the upmarket Northcote Road shops with plenty of great places to eat. Also close to Clapham Common for walks and a great Cafe there too. Spacious apartment with two large bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Clean, newish shower over the bath and windows that open to get fresh air in the bedrooms and bathroom. Much better value for money than London Hotel prices. Good quality carpet (fairly new I'd say). No full length mirror, but they may get one now that I've told them. We couldn't open the windows in the front living room. The Bathroom was a bit small with a very small mirror. No separate toilet, but I guess that is hard to change in these older style buildings. There were two fans but no air-conditioning (very humid during our visit in August).

• Adam (7/5): Pleasant, Reasonably Priced and in a Nice Area - Pleasant flat in a nice area - very useful for our purposes in that it was close to Battersea Park where we went to go see the fireworks. The price was lower than a lot of places in the area, it was clean and the facilities were good. If you need a place to spend the night for an event nearby, I can recommend. Keys weren't avaliable to collect on site, had to travel 25 mins to collect which was slightly out of our way - this seemed like an error though and originally the keys were meant to be on site. Booked for 3 beds (for 1 couple and 2 singles) but recieved 2 beds instead, meaning one of us slept on the sofa. Not ideal but a common mistake.
