Guest Reviews
- Anna (8/5): -
- Olivia Pham (6/5): - Natural air circulating but no air-conditioning
Fully furnished Very narrow steps walking up to the apartment which is on level 3 and 4. Very hard to bring suitcases up esp the 20kg ones.
Towels were the size of half towels ( or slightly larger than hand towels.)
No air-conditioning but luckily it wasn't too hot in Summer.
The apartment is not central and is an 18 minute walking distance to the town centre.
Bathroom is not made for tall people as your head touches the wall if you are tall.
- Jane (6/5): Pleasant - The location was very good and plenty of space in the duplex. Very clean also. At the time of booking it said it had air conditioning but that is not the case. I imagine during very hot weather it would be extremely warm inside.
- Indira (7/5): Good location! - Location was good - able to walk to main sights. Bathroom & rooms were clean Towels for bathing were too small & the shower was open.
- Kanokwun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional - The property was amazing. Very comfortable and clean and tidy. We did suffer a little with intense heat while we were there, but that is not the fault of the property
- Debra (1/5): Bad - Opened the door to discover 3 flights of stairs too hard for elderly people to climb up skinning stairs with 4 suitcases. Went somewhere with a lift
- Jack (9/5): Superb - Pretty much great everything
- Petra (9/5): Superb -
- Tara (9/5): Superb -
- Mohamed (9/5): Superb -
- Eilidh (10/5): Excellent choice - Loved the balcony, the massive bath, the lovely shower, the quirky decor. Couldn't find a lockup for bikes and had to leave them on the street.
- Gail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robyn (9/5): Ticks all the boxes! - As others have said, the towels weren’t big enough, and there were a lot of steps, but aside from that I can’t really fault this place. Comfortable beds and linens, wonderful tub, had all the basic things you might need and in a great location. Would definitely stay again.
- Suh (8/5): Very good - tidy, well equipped, spacious, location, Britta water purifier 3rd floor w/o elevator, many steps
- Moin (6/5): Pleasant - Our apartment was in 3rd floor a d there was no lift.
- Gareth (9/5): A clean well appointed city centre apartment - The property is very well situated for all of the sights of Brussels, the apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The shower towels are small and more like a hand towel, and there are a lot of stairs so not ideal if you have mobility issues or young children.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Location brilliant for our workshop and very comfortable - everything perfect! - Location brilliant for our workshop, the beds, the bath, the lighting, cleanliness - everything was great! And very good value for money. We felt it was a bargain given its location in a capital city. Thankyou very much! The little wooden steps in the kitchen - looks like they could cause an accident one day.
- Martina (9/5): Superb - very beautiful apartment, I love the style the stairs are kind of tricky, but I think it‘s mostly like this in Belgium
- Lukas (8/5): Very good -
- Mustafa (7/5): Enough for a one or two day accomodations. - Everything except for hot water cuttage was beatiful. Unfortunately when my children took shower the hot water was cut and never worked again. That was not good. And the towels are very very small, may be changed in the future. Well positioned location, spacious living space, a beatiful balcony and well equiped kitchen.
- Zaharaddeen (1/5): Bad -
- Cédric (7/5): Good - The first reason I had booked this was because there was a bath, unfortunately the water didn't get hot enough to use it so this was rather disappointing.
We had to check out at 11 am at the latest, at 10.50 am we heard the door open downstairs and someone entered. This was not son pleasant feeling. (I think the cleaning person)
- Aylin (9/5): Superb -
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional - Nice duplex, have everything you need, easy c in and c/out No parking, so many stairs
- Ahmed (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (9/5): Ideal place to stay for short city breaks. - The location was great for my event, and it was easy to walk around the rest of the district. I would certainly stay again.
- Tyrone (10/5): Great for a city break - Well positioned, very clean and very well converted. Be aware that there are steep steps though. Nothing
- Henrietta (8/5): Great base for exploring - Nice to have space for yourself after a day of hustle&bustle. Could definitely work for a longer stay with everything you need for self catering. 15min walk to the square.
- Robert (9/5): Interesting spacious multistory apartment - Location good. The apt is nice & very spatious, furnished well. Configuration is interesting. Check-in and check-out smooth via lock code and key in a box. Very clean, kitchen with all small consumables (coffee, paper towels, spuces, ...). Nice big terrace. Beautiful bathtub in the upper room. In short, will return for curiosity, not for comfort. Location must be near a hospital, permanent sound of emergency sirens. Stairs very steep. The apartment itself has 5 distinct levels, very interesring at first, but gets annoying. Slanted roof/walls quite low: e.g. cannot use toilet standing. Some passages also dangerous for your head.
- Leesa (7/5): If you like climbing stairs this apartment is for you - It was very clean. Funky little apartment The stairs.
- Nadia (8/5): Very good - The open shower is not ideal.
- Pietro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Supitha (6/5): Pleasant - None Noisy street,Stairs of the building are too narrow and a bit dangerous.High steps to climb up to the toilet is inconvenient.
- Sunny (8/5): Very good -
- Paolo (10/5): New, clean and beautiful 2bedrrom apartment in the centre - The decoration, facilities, the proximity to the centre, the cleanness. The noise coming from the street.
- Tautas (9/5): Overall a very good stay, only a 15min walk to the Grote Markt and very easy and convenient access. - It was clean and well equipped. The street in front is a little loud.
- Yana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krisela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (8/5): My cousin and I enjoyed our stay and the apartment was clean comfortable and near all the transport - The apartment is very near the metro and all other transport systems I didnt think to look at the position of the flat and as I have mobility problems the 3rd floor position was a bit if a setback for me as the stairs were quite narrow.
- Angela (5/5): Passable - Picked as 2 bedrooms with kitchen, for grown up family.
Flat was clean and tidy, however the location although less than 20 minutes walk to town centre was rather rundown and not somewhere we were happy to walk at night. Extremely noisy, constant police sirens throughout the night, there appeared to be very little sound proofing.
Kitchen entrance was extremely dangerous as it had a loose wooden step to enter from one side of the kitchen. Lots of internal stairs all shapes and sizes not the best to navigate.
Host provided what can only be described as a hand towel size as bath towels
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (8/5): Cosy apartment and very well located - Cosy and clean place. I suggest to leave large towels together with the small ones.
- Cesarie (7/5): Good - The location was good. Not far from the city Long stairs. Not recommanded to people with disability.
Bed sheets were dark colour even though the pictures show white bed sheets..
Not enough towels for 3 people.
Etc.
- Nicholas (10/5): Spotless, comfortable, practical and beautifully done up apartment. -
