• Douglas (3/5): Disaster - Location ok Arrived at 3.30 am due to flight delay to find we could not get access to building!! Tried several times following the instructions given by the company and however no luck. We were basically stranded outside the building in an unfamiliar area with nowhere to stay. One and a half hours later and several phone calls costing £18 , we could not contact anyone from Homeforguest or Booking.com!!! Ridiculous. They obviously think there are no late flights from the UK and no delays! Luckily a police car passed by which we stopped,they managed to get access to building and into apartment. We are not the first people this has happened to. The response we got from Homeforguest was ridiculous, basically calling us liars and stupid for not following instructions. If truth be known they hadn't loaded the opening system to my phone. Funnily enough 8 hours later after they finally contacted us and asked us to try it again,it worked. Basic apartment, kettle covered in limescale , shower flooding the floor every time we used it MY ADVICE , DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT OR ANY OTHERS MANAGED BY HOMEFORGUEST
