Guest Reviews
- Sharon (10/5): Fabulous apartment in a great location. - Great location and very spacious. Tastefully refurbished. Short walk to Southbank and city cats. Visitor parking was a bonus as we had 2 cars. Communal areas, entryways, stairwells etc very neglected.
- Doughboy (7/5): - Great location
- Jo (8/5): - Spacious feeling to the apartment.
Great location to explore Brisbane, easy to park, convenient for buses, restaurants and local shops. Not enough mugs, no torch, knives very blunt.
- Nicola (1/5): -
- Fiona (8/5): Great - Great instructions for self-checking great location clean and comfortable
- Vicki (7/5): It was a suitable place for us to stay during a conference, we didn't spend much time there! - It was tricky for us to find the key, and there was a bit of messaging back and forth, but the person we messaged was quick on the reply for us.
- Carolyn (9/5): - Excellent location in the heart of Brisbane. The size of the apartment was excellent.
- Malgorzata (7/5): - Location was very close to South Bank. Secured parking avoids the metered on street parking.
- Christine (8/5): First visit to Brisbane, accommodation well placed for amenities - Good position
Little trouble getting access information but after that everything fine Seating in lounge -needs another comfortable chair
- Danielle (5/5): - Location The check in process before arrival is a huge put off. Booking.com weren't helpful with easing my concerns either when asked to click links and give ID and credit cards before arrival to an unknown business. I wouldn't book again or recommend to anyone.
Needs a deep clean.
It was very hot in the room and the fan was constantly clicking. One of the worst sleeps as we ended up sleeping in the lounge, on the couch under the a/c.
- Sophie (10/5): -
- Richard (10/5): -
- Susan Elizabeth (8/5): Fabulous service, comfortable beds, great location - So close to restaurants and transport Requires a deep clean
- Emma (7/5): Great location, good price. Excessive personal info required. - Location excellent for the south bank Insistence on taking your credit card details as extra and photo id not required by booking.com.
Broken lights and doors noted in other reviews not fixed. Unable to leave luggage early or late - plenty space on the balcony but the door is broken so makes it unusable.
- cheryl (10/5): We had a great time. - Fabulous location. Close to everything in south Brisbane and west end. Walk to CBD.
- Helen (8/5): Great location with awesome coffee just around the corner - Great location with secure parking facilities. Lots of restaurants and a great cafe nearby for our morning coffee. Well appointed kitchen which allowed us to cook our own meals. Travelling with the inlaws so the separate room with extra beds and second bathroom were a plus! Beds were a little lumpy and uncomfortable. There was quite a lot of external noise until quite late into the night. Beware the super slippery door mat which we all tripped/slid on at least once during our stay!

- Hangil (7/5): - 숙소가 깨끗해서 좋았어요 체크인 할때 열쇠를 꺼내는게 힘들었어요
- Lea (4/5): Disappointing - Fantastic location and quiet. Also spacious. This property is not well maintained. For a "newly furnished" place, it fell short. Details like unusable power plugs, lights not working, stains on the wall, the ensuite shower had mould in the grout. Tap fittings loose, soap dispensers empty. Not enough supplies of sugar (4 sticks). The key lock is really tricky when accessing from the outside at night. I needed a torch but also both hands to unlock the lock. Luckily another resident was walking past and helped me. Finally, there are two flights of stairs to access the unit. This is not disclosed in the listing or instructions.
- Andrew (8/5): Lovely and comfortable apartment - Spacious apartment and comfy beds, pretty close to Southbank. The ID process and amount of personal info we had to provide for the booking. We’ve used booking.com hundreds of times before and have never had an issue, but this location took a bond and had that many times rules, we became paranoid.
- Cynthia (7/5): -
- Marc (9/5): Fab - Location. Spacious A little dated on the outside. Parking space tiny
- Melissa (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (7/5): Good -
- Louise (10/5): Great apartment for family or group of friends in a fantastic location - Easy to communicate with, very easy to arrange entry. Parking and access was great. Had everything we needed. Didnt have any problems at all
- Quigley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Liz (9/5): Superb -
- Wilma (9/5): Perfect location and a well kept clean house! - Great location and a clean place. Less utensils and less seating place in living room, not enough for 5 adults.
Security Deposit sum is huge and is unnecessary. Moreover, there is also a surcharge for the card which is around $25 and is just a loss.
No elevators so was a hassle for carrying bags.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Mandy (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (8/5): Hidden costs - The apartment was very clean and modern on the inside. Had everything you needed I was sent a message to pay a $500 deposit plus $8.50 credit card charge before I was given keys and code. If i cancelled, i would not get a refund, so reluctantly i had to pay the deposit. I had not had this before. Also you have to pick up and drop off keys at a different location. The property is a BnB. There was alot going on with pre checkin and took a long time. The property outside is not well looked after, could do with a good clean, especially the balcony. The inside of the apartment is immaculate.
- Rajesh (7/5): Good -
- Sage (9/5): Superb - The location was great but also the landlord was friendly and responsive whenever we had questions. The rooms were cosy and the aircon was great for the heat. Pricing was good too. Some extra tea towels, a chux and some more cooking utensils like Tongs would be a good addition. But it's a Minor complaint.
- Kerrie (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location right near Southbank. Beautiful, clean and well appointed apartment. Highly recommend.
- Robert (1/5): Stoke money - Not much The power kept cutting I and out so had none
They said they refunded bond haven't got it but then they then charged extra 200 for a night we don't stay.
- Abby (8/5): Very good -
- Chondelle (8/5): Great location, reasonably quite area. - Location
Kitchen facilities The hassle of online information required prior to check in.
Online platform glitches.
Process required to check out was frustrating. What process asks you to do you can’t actually do. People you liaise with are not supportive when process doesn’t work.
Mould in one of the bedrooms.
- Jing (7/5): Would not recommend - Spacious and well equipped. There are two bathrooms, which we really appreciated. The apartment is professionally cleaned and I can find everything I need. It’s walking distance to south bank, cafes and restaurants in west end. The check-in was a struggle. You are asked to upload passport, which is standard these days, but this place also asked me to upload a photo of my credit card…. The key collection was a whole drama: The locker is two blocks away and it was actually broken. I tried to call multiple times but nobody answered, probably because it was Sunday. After successfully opening the locker
(with force…. ), we realised that the remote for garage was not attached. The only way to contact the property was through booking message. Every time we asked questions, we were asked to send a photo to a seperate email address. A lot of the conversation was inefficient and a waste of time, as the company manages a lot apartments, they don’t really know what I am talking about. Then upon checking out, they didn’t want to provide me with an invoice which I need for reimbursement. They just kept sending me the same message: you booked through booking.com, ask them to give you invoice. I had to reach out to booking.com for help. Eventually they agreed to give me an invoice but didn’t want to add company name… so I just showed up at their office and talked to the accountant directly who was friendly and helpful. At the end, I got the invoice I needed; but with a lot of time and frustration. To sum up, the apartment itself is great, but the property-managements company really needs to improve their professionalism and communication. If you are as impatient as me, you may want to find an alternative service apartment with an on-site reception (there are a few of them around the area).
- David (6/5): To many fingers in the pie, great position luckily - Position The gate worked some time the fan and light remote in the main bedroom did not work properly would not turn the light off I had to ask for a broom and dustpan and was delivered a vacuum and mop the pedestal fan in the second bedroom would not work in the PowerPoint it was plugged into there needs to be a ceiling fan fitted. To many people wanting to organise the booking Booking.com and Belocal property management taking money for accommodation and the security deposit which takes days to be returned so a $400.00 deposit becomes $412.00 when taken by Merchant Warrior for Belocal. When we arrived check in is from a lockbox outside the office but there was no key in it luckily the office was open so we got the key from them and checkout is the same put the keys in the lockbox take a photo then send to Belocal when the office is open right behind the lockbox
- Janelleosbornenewell (9/5): Great location - Great location, easy walking to the river and entertainment. Close to the railway station.
Big enough for all the family .Across the road from a park. Plenty of eating places in walking distance. Good internet. No air conditioning in back rooms. No cleaning equipment , broom or coat-hangers.
- Lauren (8/5): Good location close to Southbank - Spacious & clean, not a long walk to Southbank. Great there was an en-suite & another bathroom for the 2nd room was a pleasant surprise! Lock up parking a plus too. Having to pick up & drop off the keys at another location a couple of blocks over was a bit of an inconvenience. Also, the garage was very small, we only had a small car so was ok, not sure a bigger SUV or Ute would have fitted in.
- Debaus (8/5): Good location South Brisbane - Location was handy to Southbank, roomy and comfortable. Shower is good. Private garage good. It was annoying having to pick up and drop off the key at another location that was on a busy one-way road. The locked gate was not working by push button, so getting out in a busy area at the unit to use a key was also a nuisance. Can we suggest that in the online manual for the unit instructions for the use of the appliances be included. The only manual in the drawers was for the iron. No fan in the second bedroom was not great and the air con in the main area did not reach either bedroom.
- Anonymous (6/5): Complicated check in and out - Clean and spacious Small carspace and noise
- Kade (10/5): It was a great stay. - It was easy, spacious and clean :) The homelessness in the area.
- Margi (10/5): Perfect for what we needed . Will definitely be staying here again. Communication with the host was excellent. - The apartment was crisp airy and bright . The location was central to our itinerary. The beds were super comfortable. Nothing
- Jenny (7/5): Great location, communication difficult and instructions not up to date. - Great location, very comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen, living area and bathrooms. Key pick up from a car park locker, 600m from accommodation up a steep hill.
Paying through BeLocal who required my personal details.
Cleaner at accommodation when I arrived, pouring water into toilet cistern.
Instructions required photo of keys in locker as proof of return, even tho office was open. Also request to review on AirBnB.
Toilet seat broken in one bathroom.
Power disconnected due to faulty kettle on first night, so unable to charge any devices (new kettle provided next day).
