• Foulque (9/5): Trop cher, mais je me suis sentie comme à la maison ! - Super accueil. Gary est très accueillant et s’est se rendre discret et disponible en même temps. Les locataires long-terme ont aussi été très accueillantes. J’ai adoré la chambre avec la salle de bain baignoire : j’en ai bien profité ! Et la possibilité d’avoir l’usage libre d’une cuisine complete et d’un salon. Le séjour était comme être à la maison ! J’imagine que la propreté pourrait être amélioré dans les chambres (poussiéreuses) néanmoins ne pas s’attendre à plus dans un appartement partagé. Par contre, j’ai eu froid les premiers jours (j’ai dormir avec mon duvet malgré les très bons draps ! pas de chauffage dans la chambre. Une soufflerie d’appoint très bruyante et pas très efficace) mais la température était exceptionnellement basse pour une fin février. La chambre Morrison est très bruyante : aucune isolation. Elle donne sur une route qui est ponctuellement passante. Parfois, des voitures s’arrêtent juste en dessous et on peut entendre les conversations dans la chambre ! Avec un casque anti bruit, j’ai quand même pu dormir.

• Stacy (9/5): This was a great place to stay and I absolutely fell in love with LA on this trip. - Coffee was available in the mornings, and the view of Venice Beach is great! So many coffee and food options within walking distance. I had a private and quiet room to myself (The Dennis Hopper Room). The space has lots of art and creativity happening within it and outside. Loved that bikes and other equipment were available, though I did not take advantage of them during this visit. A washcloth and hand towel would be a nice touch.

• Diana (10/5): Gary and his Ocean Front Vortex provided a fun, interesting and safe experience; highly recommend. ✌🏼 - Suite was beautifully decorated and clean. Bed was very comfortable; no issues falling right to sleep.

Właściciel to skarbnica wiedzy o lokalnych zwyczajach i atrakcjach. Warto wpadac na poranna kawę zeby skorygowac swoj plan dnia o lokalne wydarzenia. W obiekcie dostepbe były fancy rowery, którymi najlepiej poruszać się po okolicy. Dużo miejsca, półka w lodówce i udostępniony sprzęt do surfingu. Poziom czystości i zapach na pierwszy rzut oka budzą zastrzeżenia ale te niedogodności szybko znikają pod wpływem gościnności właściciela i stałych mieszkanców
• Silvia (8/5): Amazing experience - The position is great, just in front of the Ocean in Venice Beach, the area is quite safe but nobody's around after sunset. There are buses to serve the area. Small markets (very expensive) nearby. The owner is great, the girls in the shared apartment are nice. The wi-fi is working. The room and the bathroom are big, with many beauty products. The experience in Venice Beach is unique, sunset on the beach is amazing. The living room in the shared part of the house was not clean and messy, and I did not use it. The bathroom "communicates" with the other part of the flat so sometimes at night you can hear the girls talking loudly. No boliler in the room. Bikes have no braks. The area is very expensive so organize yourself with food and breakfast! The are is not clean (as many in the State) and is full of homeless people.

• Gerber (10/5): Magical place, what a vibe. I want to come back. - The place is magic. Great vibe, very well situated. Cooking with the ocean view was a highlight! Quite a lot of stuff in some corners. Some girls live there longer, probably it´s the reason.

• Paloma (10/5): I loved! - The location is great, close to Santa Mônica (approximately 20 minutes by car), lots of bars and restaurants. Gary is very attentive and was very friendly during my stay. I hope to return in December. 😊 The only thing I wish was better is the bed.

Location is right by the Venice beach and the area is safe, the room has access to private bathroom, heater and is tidy and clean - haven’t heard much outside noise either. Gary is a terrific host, makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable

• Cristina (9/5): It felt like home - The room I stayed was very nice and cozy with a private bathroom, a big closet and a desk I could work on. The host is super friendly, as are the girls who are living there. The position of the place is just perfect. You step out right on the boardwalk, just a few steps from the beach, watch surfers in the morning while drinking coffee and grab one of the bikes to move around easily (next time I would like to ride up to Malibu!). Very convenient and fun! Next time I travel to L.A. I will ask for a room there again for sure!

• Jacqueline (10/5): Amazing location and stay! Hidden gem! - Amazing stay! My first time at a hostel but I booked the private room and bathroom so it felt like a blend between airbnb and hotel stay. Everyone there was pleasant and clean. It is broken up into a few suites, the one I was in had a nice small balcony area and relaxing bright living room. The bedroom and shared space was very comfortable and there were keys for each entry point. The bathroom was clean and had a nice rainfall shower head - so please ** bring a shower cap ** if you don’t want your hair getting wet! Location was amazing right in front of “muscle beach” and on the boardwalk. Paid reserved parking was available but I was able to find free street parking every day! Short drive to all the tourist sites and nice walk/bike to anywhere on the boardwalk. Everything you need is there with the exception of your personal toiletries. I will definitely be back for my next stay. Oh yea please note it gets COLD at night - bring a good sweat suit to jump into! I liked everything about the place- The only complaint I have (I was warned about this from the host too) the boardwalk food was not good but the local doordash options were great! Also this should be expected but there are a lot of people gone on drugs, they mind their business for the most part but they’re there.
