• Gwendolyn (8/5): - Host was very kind. Bathroom was stocked including a hairdryer. No parking, the room and bedding had a terrible smell. The host mentioned she went on holiday and only recently returned so this may be why.

• Sue (8/5): Great central location accessible to everything, no need for a car - Gracious hosts, was very helpful having locals point out the local spots, shopping leisure activities, if you’re not confident travelling alone this is a great idea to get local knowledge .. felt comfortable as well and welcomed

Your own motel rooms are a lot better. The way she spoke to bad you pay now...we don't give you refund. Shore ild won't to stay with her there after that. I was tryed and pist off .thank you.

• Christopher (8/5): - Our host met us on arrival and was thorough in his overview of our stay. Told us he was leaving the following morning and wouldn't be back whilst we were there. Fine with that. We were aware that the hosts wife? was also in the flat using the 2nd br and ensuite, however during our stay, she never said hello; stayed in her br for 3 days and whilst making her breakfast one morning totally ignored us. We weren't sure if we could relax or use the TV - it was quite unsettling. On leaving we saw her br light on, called out thanks and told her we were leaving and again, ignored.
• Margaret (8/5): Perfect for a short stay - Comfortable bed and the best pillow I’ve ever experienced. Secure, nice balcony to enjoy a wine or coffee. Friendly host who offered information about GC if needed. All I needed for an overnight stay. About an 8 minute walk to tram - but Lance was wonderful and dropped me off. Street parking.

The bed was super comfortable and exclnt bathroom facility. Also access to kitchen too! With good weather wld enjoy having own access to deck and views and roof top rec facilities. Location is in a secured building, with your own access provided during stay. Met some lovely building residents. Close to dining options and a street full of great op shops to troll- lots of bargains and conversation with locals. Very close to retail suburb centre, just a comfortable walk, to cafes , and assorted retail……. Public transport options are exclnt. This is just about a perfectly located stay with same hosts.

• wendy (10/5): Absolutely amazing, friendly, relaxed stay with amazing hosts - Lance and Anzhela are incredible hosts. Within 2 minutes I had the experience of being completely at home. The check in was friendly, straightforward and relaxed. I felt completely free to kick back, do some work online, hang out and talk. The apartment is super close to everywhere!! • Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Came down for the GC Marathon. Accommodation is walking distance to start and finish line, so super convenient for me. Place very clean and tidy, with private bedroom. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Lance the host is very relaxed and accommodating. He drove me to the pub which wasn't on the tram line which was extremely good of him.

• Debs (9/5): Great place to stay in Southport - Lance was extremely helpful without being intrusive at all. It is in a lovely, modern building with fob key entrance. The common areas of the apartment were beautiful and clean, as was the room and bathroom. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and eat breakfast. This was nicer than many hotel rooms we have stayed at over the years. Toiletries and linen were provided. There was nothing worth writing a complaint about. We had a great stay.

• Brown (10/5): Kiwi Newzilindas are welcome lol - spotless place, fresh, bright and the tiled floors which are sound proof. Very comfortable bed, Sliding door out to a balcony and windows and fan for awesome clean ventilation. Lance is a friendly and accomodating host. Nothing to gripe about.

No parking in the street. Had to park in the next block, not ideal with luggage.

• Camille (10/5): Great stay at Outlook! - I had a great stay at Outlook! The apartment is very tidy and clean. Lance and his wife are super friendly and welcoming! They even gave me a lift to Surfers Paradise because it was raining. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to other people!

• Power (1/5): Piss poor effort from booking.com - We were double booked & were told that we couldn't stay there. We were still charged without stepping foot inside the place. I expect a full refund immediately p.power@westnet.com.au We traveled over 4 hours to get to the accommodation to be told that the room was double booked & we couldn't stay there. Left without accommodation during peak periods school holidays
