• athena (10/5): Love love love this place! - I absolutely love this property, views are amazing, such a clean and organised property with everything you need. Host is absolutely amazing. Shops not far from where you stay, beaches a short drive, definitely worth every minute. Very clean and tidy property. Definitely be back it’s our 2nd time here.

Little personal touches appreciated! We would love to come again for a longer stay! Not terribly private with golfers walking past! No dishwasher…wasn’t really a problem as we were only there one night and ate out!

The facilities were clean and complete for a few days stay and the decor was unique and interesting. We had expansive views of the scenery around the golf course, kangaroos every afternoon. Heather was a pleasure to communicate with, very flexible and considerate. The living room has a view into the golf course so you can watch them, but they can probably also see inside. Not too big of a deal.

• Nick (8/5): Well laid out apartment with most things you could need. - The apartment is well laid out, clean and comfortable. It catered very well for my partner, myself and our doggo. It was mostly well equipped but just missing a couple of things which can be easily rectified. The bbq had no gas and seemed that someone had left it on. After we needed to cook on the stovetop we would have liked to light the candle which is supplied but there was no means to light it.

• Russell (10/5): Relaxing. - Beautiful views with kangaroos, kookaburras & other bird life. Spacious, so comfortable, excellent shower and bed. There was a storm on our first day but having the lovely view we were content to stay in and admire the views. The next day was perfect & the kangaroos were almost on our verandah!! Perfect for travellers with dogs. Loved having all the streaming channels too. Nothing, all great. The parking is not undercover - but no big deal for us.

My partner loved the golf theme and I loved the bird theme. We had a beautiful view from our loungeroom and patio. The lounge and the bed were so comfortable and we had so many pillows and blankets to choose from. My partner loved being so close to the golf course and the driving range. I loved how it felt like a home away home. We had so fun at this beautiful place and we'll definitely be coming back. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

Minor issues, but none of the exterior lighting appeared to be working. It made it difficult to unlock the lock box or find the keyhole in the door after dark. Several interior light globes were also blown or not working.

While my husband enjoyed a round of golf the puppy dog and i went exploring and enjoyed the facilities. It was nice and close to the shops and a lot of pet friendly cafes for us to enjoy! • Robin (8/5): Location unbeatable - The location is ideal, quiet and relaxing with an unbeatable outlook against the golf course. The property is in close proximity to Salamander Bay Shopping Centre, short drive into Nelson Bay, and short drive to Soldiers Point, giving you many options. The bedding configuration of two single beds were not appropriate, and although this appears to be common in most of the reviews I read, it is the only negative for the property, and if different, would make the property a 10 out of 10. Perhaps the owner could give people the option; of the 2 singles put together with the King bedding, or kept as 2 separate single beds, depending on the guests' preferences.

• Isabel (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property, cozy and tastefully decorated, wonderful views of the golf course, well equipped with all the necessities to enjoy a nice break! Our doggie enjoyed looking at the wallabies and walking and sniffing around the property common areas, we stayed off the green as we don’t play and not sure if its allowed to walk around specially with our dog, however the common areas around the main street and along the entrance to the property are very beautiful, also we discovered a walking trail at the bush behind the golf course, so that was more than enough for us. Super enjoyable stay and would love to go back. A double bed would be nice (instead of twin beds) but not a deal breaker for us anyway.

So comfortable, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and in a prime spot on the golf course to tee off and to visit the 19th which is basically next door- with a cafe and bistro. Being able to view all the wildlife from the sofa (that you melt into) or from the sun drenched patio is an added bonus. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, including luxury toiletries, any cleaning (environmentally friendly) bits you might need, lovely towels, tea, coffee… and the WiFi works great, I was able to stream with ease. Loved our stay from beginning to end and we will 100% be back. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nothing. It was perfect.
