Guest Reviews
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- Kt (7/5): Need to add mirrors and sort out WIFI - Rooms was ok No mirrors in the flat. For 5 ladies getting dressed going out, was ridiculous without a mirror.
Iron was a traveller one, couldn't iron clothes properly.
WIFI wasn't great, especially as one of us was working from home.
I wouldn't come back!
- Izaac (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (8/5): Very good -
- Benjamin (8/5): Very good -
- Szilárd (5/5): Not bad, but with a little attention it could be much better. - The apartment is close to the metro, but in a quiet street, with many restaurants and shops nearby (such as Tesco). There was wifi in the apartment (the sub description says no).
Access is by key code but it is worth calling the owner in advance as the code sent by Booking does not work. The owner/manager is more formal than nice.
The heating worked but the temperature is not adjustable and if there were no guests before you have to ask the owner to turn the heating on otherwise it takes a long time for the apartment to warm up.
☹ The apartment is good value for money although this should not mean that minimal repairs would be advisable. For example, the paint has peeled off the walls in two rooms, the front of the furniture is peeling (another guest wrote about this earlier - December 2023), the double bed is moving around terribly, the living room windows are getting cold. Apartment for 8 but only 6 chairs etc.
- Maytan82 (8/5): Very good - Few minutes to train station, supermarket. Equipped with kitchen tools. Clear instruction from the host with short video provided.
- Oscar (7/5): Overall a cosy & nice place but a bit on the expensive side - Almost everything
Cleanliness was TOP
Nice commodities with plenty of equipment bedrooms & kitchen
Heating working very well, cosy & warm flat The slowest internet I have seen for a a while
The stairs entering the property aren't good for carrying big suitcases & for elderly people
The price for being on zone 3 in London was expensive, adding the transportation cost to the location.
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francois (7/5): Good - It was a good size for a group of 7 and had beds for all which is a big plus. Lots of shops and eating places close by with the central line literally around the corner. The property could have been a little cleaner and was a little tired. Not much work could make this a great place. A few more kitchen items would also be welcomed.
- Marie (9/5): Superb -
- Joyce (10/5): Family friendly, clean house - We enjoyed our stay here. Its very convenient plus the host is accessible anytime. It has everything we needed. Good location since its near the underground station. The kids love the day bed. The entrance confused us at first since there were 2 doors. There were 1-2 sharp spots in the living room and stairs but manageable.
- Syarmeen (7/5): Good -
- Yeonji (9/5): Superb -
- Márk (9/5): Superb -
- Eve (9/5): Superb -
- Martim (8/5): It went well, very lovely. - Amazing location, amazing accommodations, very good location as its close to a tesco, mcdonalds, underground station and good pubs. Very clean. The owner was cordial. Never had been asked before to pay 50pounds to simply drop bags at the apartment 2 hours earlier, we’ve interrailed through all of Europe and everytime we asked if we could drop our bags a tad earlier we got a positive response, even if the cleaning lady was still there, they always offered help/storage. One time we forgot the keys inside the house, we had to ask the owner for help and he did help us but told us next time we’d have to pay a fare. I understand that it’s a inconvenience but you’re getting very good money from us, its the least you could do as the property manager as it is your responsibility, also, giving one pair of keys to a group of 8 people is unheard off. Maybe it was a culture shock. Not sure.
- Remy (8/5): good value for money, nice neighbourhood and exceptional location - The cleanliness of the apartment and the facilities provided inside is exceptional and up to my standards. Difficult and hassle to carry all the bags up as the stairs are to narrow
- Magdalena (10/5): Exceptional - It is worth adding that in the apartment is access to wifi. For us it was a very nice surprise
- John-paul (10/5): Exceptional -
