Guest Reviews
- Day (10/5): Beautiful little gem - The bed was so amazingly soft and i slept better than i have away from home in years, and i travel weekly for work.
Unit was super clean. There were games to play and no tv which is great to unwind.
The hosts have long life milk in the cupbard and tea and coffee etc which was a nice touch. I also felt good not wasting milk as i bring my own due to preferences.
Hosts had ideas ans things to do which would have been great had we not been in town to catch up with family.

- Margaret (5/5): The unit was nice enough. Good price point. Could use a few adjustments to make the stay amazing. - Good proximity to everything we wanted to visit. Linen on the bed was comfortable. It wasn’t private. Felt very much like we were imposing on someone’s property. It was very noisy considering it was out of town.
- Guest (7/5): Nice - Clean and quiet No TV or couch
- Larry (8/5): Very good - Lack of entry path to avoid wet, muddy shoes.
- Kate (7/5): Good -
- Allen (7/5): Travelling BR - Nice little kitchen, very nice hosts Needed a good clean, most likely visitors do not clean up after them self could do with some comfortable sitting chairs
- Andre (8/5): Would have loved to stay a little bit longer. -
- Josephine (9/5): It was a comfortable stay. - Quiet location and pretty close to the town centre. NA
- Anita (7/5): Enjoyed my stay - I liked the quietness No wiFi
- Lien (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (8/5): Just what I wanted - The quiet country atmosphere
Just a great little unit No cloth to do washing up and a bit of cleaning in the kitchen
- Alicia (9/5): Wonderful - Very nice peaceful location very close to the winery and not far from town. Perfect for if your going to a wedding at Petersons like we were. Clean and tidy little granny flat which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Just be aware there is no wifi (already stated by owners on listing) and for me my reception wasn't too great out there either (also wasn't terrible). I didn't mind at all but it may bother others.
- Bootsara (10/5): Great location in a peaceful surrounding. - Beautiful property
- Frank (7/5): Quiet granny flat in nice gardens - Quiet country location within lovely gardens. Bed was comfy and the property was clean and tidy when we stayed here in September 2024. The mornings were cold, so we appreciated the heating and warm doonah. The 'staff' were friendly and attentive to our needs. No TV and no Wi-Fi might be too much for some people. Shower was hot, but fitting was faulty and water sprayed everywhere. The road to get to the property is very rocky and bumpy, which isn't the property's fault, but could be an issue for some. You have to drive to everything, so you'll use the road a bit.
- Plaxy (7/5): It was comfortable and secure. - There wasn’t any. And I had to buy the milk from them. There was no tv.
- Jill (5/5): Disappointing. - Quiet and attractive location, friendly communication from hosts. Poor maintenance (broken front door, loose toilet seat, air conditioner remote control had near-flat battery, etc). Facilities were ok but pretty basic.
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Beautiful peaceful location
- Antony (4/5): Read the fine print regarding what is available with the accommodation - Pleasant location. Lack of TV, power failure in the morning due to recent electrical work elsewhere in the facility, no toiletries, no kitchen cleaning basics.
- Clive (7/5): Good - Quiet, peaceful surroundings in country. Lack of internet/WiFi and TV was a nuisance. Info on no WiFi was listed in Facilities Section, but was easy to miss when making booking.
- David (9/5): Superb - Simple & quiet. Owner came out to welcome us even as we arrived very late in the cold and dark. Very warm and cozy. For our next stay could we have some little UHT milks for a cup of tea? that would be terrific.
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, quaint. Has everything you need for a couple of days. Amazing communication from hosts bed is so comfortable, provided plenty of blankets. Even a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival! You can walk around the gorgeous garden and take in the landscape and scenery :) Is a bit tricky to get to, if you have a low set car I would not advise as is a bit off road. Would also benefit from a coupe of additional things to make it more comfy, like a tv, shower rack for shower items, and a full length mirror.
- Cheryle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belinda (8/5): We used Google Maps to find accommodation. - Spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short get-away. No tv or wifi but that’s a good thing to have a break from and we were happy to read our books. Short drive to Uralla or Armidale. No complaints.
- Glenda (9/5): Peace & quiet away from noisy traffic -
- Wilson (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Very quiet and close to town. No covered outdoor area. A shower caddy caddy would be useful.
- John (8/5): Very good - The venue was as described so we were very satisfied.
- Karen (8/5): Excellent stay, close to waterfalls - Beautiful location and very private and peaceful No wifi
- Kerrie (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved the peace and tranquility and the bird life💜 - The accommodation offered all that we required, it was comfortable, clean and cosy. Our host greeted us with a warm friendly smile and there was nothing extra we needed. It was great to have cooking facilities, close parking and the opportunity to walk through the gardens and listen to the numerous gorgeous birds that made their home in this lovely space.
Thanks so much for the lovely stay, if back this way we will definitely return💜
