• Teresa (10/5): It was so nice to have lots of space and all the amenities instead of a tiny hotel room. - The apartment was very roomy and comfortable with lovely views and lots of nice amenities. It was in a great location for exploring the old town. The owner was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. Really nothing needs to improved. It is a 4th floor walk up with no elevator which might be important to know if you have lots of luggage.

• Hamzah (10/5): Nice and clean place, loved the owner - My first time in Sarajevo! It was a great experience for me and family when we got this apartment with a nice owner, she showed us more of the old town when we arrived, and even she’s a good helper if you need something in the town!
• Inna (10/5): Exceptional - We would like to thank Marika for her warm hospitality! The apartment is large, there is everything you need for living. Huge plus free parking, gorgeous view of the city (3 balconies)! Marika took care of us and met us with coffee, juices, yogurts. And she also allowed to leave the room later than the appointed time. If we are in Sarajevo, we will definitely come to her again.
• Gonzalo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect at Marica's apartment! We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything you need and more, there's no detail missing. The location is also perfect: very close to the city center, stores, supermarket, pharmacy. Views from the balconies are stunning. Also the parking space is good and safe, and you can even see the car from your apartment. Marica is an amazing host. She was kind and welcoming and she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Even though she doesn't speak much English (and we don't speak Bosnian) communication was never an issue, we could understand each other perfectly. I 100% recommend to stay at Marica's apartment and I will definitely come back! There's nothing bad that comes to mind. Everything was clean, comfortable, luminous, well decorated, and the place was very well equipped
• Oksana (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed at the apartment with my friend. The host's flexibility with check-in times was great as we arrived almost at midnight. Marica left us milk, refreshing drinks in the fridge, delicious granola/yogurt breakfast, great selection of coffee and tea which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was impressively well-equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, iron, air conditioning and lots of other essentials. This property located on a hill with breathtaking views. Very central, walking distance from everything. We enjoyed our stay very much and will come back if we have to stay in Sarajevo again.

The host's genuine warmth and personal touch - My stay at the apartment EMAS was an unforgettable experience, primarily due to the exceptional hospitality and thoughtful gestures of the host. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and genuine welcome. The host's flexibility with check-in times was greatly appreciated, especially after a long journey. What stood out most was the delightful surprise of finding two refreshing drinks in the fridge and a delicious granola/yogurt breakfast item awaiting me. This thoughtful gesture immediately made me feel at home and cared for, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. The host went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. She took the time to give me a comprehensive tour of the apartment, highlighting its various balconies and rooms while providing valuable information about all the facilities available. The apartment was impressively well-equipped, boasting essential amenities like a washing machine, dishwasher, drying rack, ironing board, and iron, which made my stay incredibly convenient. The inclusion of a working desk, sofa, TV, and air conditioning added to the comfort and convenience. Despite a small language barrier, the host's effective use of a translator application ensured seamless communication. What truly captivated me about the property were the breathtaking views it offered. With three balconies, each providing a panoramic 360-degree view of Sarajevo, I was treated to stunning vistas of mountains, greenery, and the cityscape. The convenient location of the property, just a short 5-10 minute walk from the central old town area, made exploring the city effortless. The neighborhood exuded a sense of safety, and being in proximity to the War Childhood Museum was an added bonus. Throughout my stay, the host remained attentive to my questions and was unfailingly generous and hospitable. Her swift responses to messages further enhanced the overall experience. While my stay at the apartment hotel was overwhelmingly positive, one minor inconvenience due to the nature of the building itself was the absence of an elevator. The apartment is situated on the top floor, and there is no lift available. Though this meant carrying my luggage up and down several flights of stairs, I found it to be a small sacrifice in light of the exceptional amenities and the host's warm hospitality. This factor may be worth considering for guests with mobility challenges, but for me, it did not diminish the overall quality of my stay and I would stay again, even with lots of luggage!
• Dina (10/5): Exceptional - Returning to apartment EMAS for my second stay was a true pleasure. Once again, the host's warm welcome made me feel right at home. She kindly helped me with my luggage, and to my delight, she gifted me a container of delicious fresh figs. It was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. Just like before, I appreciated the two refreshing drinks left for me in the fridge. The host continued to treat me like family, making my stay feel personal and comfortable. The apartment remained as inviting as ever, with its stunning views and impeccable cleanliness. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and cozy. I'm eagerly looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to Sarajevo. The host's kindness and the comfort of the apartment make it an excellent choice for future trips. I'd like to mention a particularly kind offer from the host on the night before my departure. Knowing my flight was in the early hours, she texted to offer assistance with my luggage should I need it. This thoughtful gesture reflects the host's dedication to ensuring her guests have a wonderful experience.
• Caitlin (10/5): Perfect homebase for Sarajevo with everything you need! - The location of the apartment is perfect to explore Sarajevo on foot from! Straight down the street is the old town and Bascarsija but you're far enough from it that it's perfectly quiet. The apartment itself feels like someone's beloved home (instead of the typical Ikea-furnished rentals that are everywhere) and it's equipped with everything you'll need (washing machine, comfortable bed, solid wifi, three balconies!, a desk, tv with loads of channels. The kitchen was a treat for us - it had good quality pans, loads of glasses/cups, dishes, utensils, multiple ways to make coffee (with sufficient pods, grinds, etc). It was also very helpful to have secure parking available. And finally, our host, Marica, was so lovely! She met us upon arrival to show us to the parking and around the unit - she was communicative, helpful, and proactive... and she had left out an arrival snack of juice and cookies when we arrived, so sweet! We loved everything! Really great stay. Worth mentioning to some people: there's no lift and it's on the 4th floor (which gives it a lovely view!) so make sure you've packed / are prepared to carry accordingly :) it was no issue for us.
