• Emmochka (3/5): Disappointing stay overall - • The terrace is indeed large and beautiful. However, it can only be enjoyed seasonally (summer to mid-September). I checked in on September 21st and unfortunately couldn’t really use it due to the weather. • The street is quiet and peaceful. A good location if you need to stay in this area. • Beautiful building entrance, the house has an elevator. • The apartment is clean and modern, furnished in a typical IKEA style. It has a large TV, a spacious wardrobe, all basic kitchenware, and a Nespresso machine. Unfortunately, my experience in this apartment was not a pleasant one — neither in terms of the apartment itself nor the interaction with the host. -During my stay, the dishwasher was broken. I reported this to the host on the second day. I stayed for 13 nights, and it took 10 days for the host to organize the replacement and installation. – There’s no central lighting in the living room, and the only floor lamp was broken. This means you're left in the dark in the evenings. Since I work remotely in the evenings, this was a big issue. After two days of back and forth, the host eventually bought and brought a new lamp, but left the broken one standing there as "decoration". :) – I had to be actively involved in resolving all these issues. Constant messages, visits from rental agents, the host himself, then installers, etc. Given my remote work schedule, all of this was disruptive. The host even offered to come with installers during my absence, but I declined, as I was on a business trip with valuable items. It seemed the host had little regard for privacy or personal space. :) – I understand that things can break in any apartment. However, I believe that in this case, the issues (like the dishwasher and lighting) already existed before my arrival, and all repairs should have been addressed before a guest checks in, not while they are staying there — and certainly not with the guest’s active involvement. I shared this opinion with the host as well.The host refused to offer any compensation or discount for the inconveniences . I asked twice and he just ignored messages. – The apartment has electrical issues. The power trips if you use any two appliances in the kitchen at the same time — for example, the kettle and the oven. – The shower is terrible. It’s so small that water runs all over the bathroom floor. After every shower, you need to clean and dry the floor and wash/dry the bath mat.

• Natalia (7/5): This could be a great rental once the hosts fix some issues and add some homey touches. - We spent 3 weeks in this apartment. On the positive side, the location is excellent, perfect actually: very quiet street, yet central and very close to the metro . The terrace is luxurious! On the downside, the apartment shows signs of wear, with mold in the shower corners, a broken toilet brush, a non-working lamp (the large black one) which makes the space quite dark without it, and ill-fitting bed linens and mattress protector that kept sliding off. The cheap artwork doesn't add to the coziness. I don't like leaving such reviews, but since these issues can be easily fixed, I'm listing them specifically.
