• amand (10/5): une experience extraordinaire que nous renouvellerons avec plaisir!! - un acceuil tres chaleureux de karin la proprietaire! la piscine est un must! la situation de la maison entourée de verdure est exceptionnelle! on peut meme faire cuire des brochettes dans le jardin! ce serait bien de proposer des depliants touristiques sur koblenz et la region
• iso (4/5): - Nature is good. The landlord is kind. There is a free parking. This was not clean. We couldn't sleep comfortably. The ceilings were full of flies which comes from windows to the light. The bedclothes, towels did not smell good and fresh as if have not been changed. Drawer was full of dust ball. Couldn't use barbecue, necessary to inform early, we were late for informing. And landlord in control of washing machine. The landlord washs and prepares your laundry for a fee.

• Celine (5/5): - The location is pretty close to Koblenz (10min by car), and you can safely park your car on the premises. The apartment is clean, and the host is really helpful and friendly. You can sit in the garden and swim in the pool. I don't really understand why everyone seems so enthusiastic about this apartment, though. We couldn't check in until 4.30 pm and were asked to leave at 9 am. The host tried to charge extra for the children's beds and use of the swimming pool, even though these costs weren't mentioned on the website. There were rules about taking off your shoes and being home before 11 pm. Overall, the apartment is basic and doesn't even have a seating area or balcony, so it's really just a place to sleep and cook a simple meal. We regretted not just booking a hotel with air conditioning!

• Janine (8/5): Great Location and Fit Our Needs - Location here is great to begin or end a driving tour of "Castle Alley" along the Rhine River. The setting is quiet and beautiful. It was fairly easy to find using Google Maps. Host Karin was friendly and helpful. Her communication was excellent. The place was spotlessly clean. Having a kitchen was very nice for us, as we typically make our own simple breakfasts and appreciate an ample fridge. Thanks, Karin, for a lovely stay! Room was a bit cramped--no bedside table on one side--and all other beds we had in Europe that said "Double" were the size equivalent of two twin beds or a king-sized bed in US. This was instead the true equivalent of a US "double"--a bit small for two adults. Bedding and towels were a hodge-podge of colors and stages of life--newer and crisp white would be much more attractive and a huge upgrade. No screens on windows means it's hard to have the windows open without mosquitos coming in, yet few rooms in Europe have either screens or fans. So we were too warm everywhere, especially with the thick comforters that are so inexplicably favored. We always take it off and just use an empty duvet--fortunately, Karin had one available for us.
