Guest Reviews
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful property - A beautiful BnB full of character. Thoughtfully styled with antiques and lovely touches in the furnishings throughout. There are lots of inviting areas to just sit and relax, enjoying the quiet, or warmth of the fire. Our stay was truly enjoyable.
- Desiree (10/5): A lovely cottage with four nicely appointed bedrooms - There were four lovely appointed rooms, which was great because we were getting ready for a wedding, there was lots of space. The property was very attractive and comfortable, in a quiet street but still close to the centre of Malaney.
- Georgia (10/5): Charming, spacious and inviting home away from home. - Tamarind Street Cottage is a beautiful, spacious and comfortable home away from home. It is not just a place to rest between adventures, but a place you want to spend time in. The rooms are thoughtfully and stylishly decorated with antique furniture and gorgeous fresh cut flowers from the garden. Thank you again Nat & Dave
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful relaxing girls weekend away. Wonderful hosts as well. - Everything! Location was perfect, a short stroll into Maleny township. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom, fresh eggs from resident chooks, fresh loaf of bread/butter as well as extra bits and pieces in the pantry. It was a very homely welcoming experience. Very comfortable Nothing

It was clean, the beds were so comfortable. Not one thing we would change

- Katrina (10/5): We could not of chosen a more quant beautiful cottage for our time in Maleny for my son's Wedding. - The hosts were very accessable & left a msg where to find the key. The general supplies for tea coffee, cooking & condiments were provided, fresh chicken eggs, bread, butter & milk were in the fridge, so initially we did not need to go get supplies for the morning. The cottage itself is well maintained with beautiful decor & antique furniture with a sunroom at the back with a comfortable luxurious breakfast setting overlooking the back yard with views. The bedding was very comfortable & warm with high quality sheets & beautiful polished timber floor rugs on the floors. The bathroom is spotless.
A big thank you to our hosts. Fire wood & kindling at hands reach. Otherwise our stay was beautiful.
- Julian (10/5): - Immaculately presented character home. Friendly prompt communication from hosts.

Very thoughtful hosts, leaving lots of extras, including bread, butter ,milk, and fresh eggs . The chicken coup out the back was fun for our grandaughter and us to collect the fresh eggs.
Overall an exceptional stay . Thank you so much to Nat and Dave
- Beverley (10/5): Relaxing stay in a cosy, comfortable, clean cottage. Can highly recommend staying at Tamarind cottage & thank you to - Cosy spacious cottage, very clean & comfortable with full amenities. Fabulous views & easy access to Maleny shops. Provision of fresh bread, eggs & milk was a bonus. Nothing, I had no complaints or issues.
- Anja (8/5): Very comfortable, homely stay. - The cosiness, the garden and the fireplace. Some of the doors didn’t close properly, especially the bathroom door. Even with a door stop there were some privacy concerns.
- Kate (10/5): Perfect place to relax and unwind - We had a fabulous stay at Tamarind cottage. It was the perfect place for a restful, peaceful and relaxing time. The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was comfortable, spacious and cosy. The location was amazing, it was quiet, had a beautiful outlook and very conveniently located within a short walk into Maleny. The fresh eggs everyday from the chickens were a special treat. The hosts were just lovely and so welcoming. We can't wait to go back. Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Girls getaway holiday - The house was lovely and in a very quiet area 😍
- Lydia (8/5): Very good -
- Sabrina (10/5): Gorgeous Maleny retreat - We loved everything about this place. The house itself, the wonderful garden for my son to play in, the location so close to Maleny village...it was all perfect! Especially the chickens...my son loved feeding them and then seeing if they'd laid some yummy eggs for breakfast! There was nothing to not like here! Nat and Dave are fabulous hosts with a lovely home 🏡
- Christine (9/5): Beautiful location, warm welcome, fresh eggs & veg with incredibly comfortable vintage beds. - Loved the location, the beautiful and exceptionally comfortable beds, the tasty fresh eggs from the cute chickens, the frangipani and other lovely trees and roses, the delicious spinach and tomatoes from the veg garden, the relaxing outdoor setting. The hosts made us feel so welcome! Nothing
- Narelle (8/5): A nice getaway. - Loved the location, nice and close to town. The sunroom at the back of the house was light and airy and a comfortable place to relax. The chooks were great and laid fresh eggs each day. The owners provided bread, milk and butter and there were other condiments in the cupboards. The living room was a bit dark. Better lighting and maybe more lamps would improve that. There were no screens so we were hesitant to open up the windows especially at night as bugs would get in. The house had a musty smell, so being able to open the windows may have helped with this.
- Janelle (10/5): Old World Delight - The property is decorated in old world charm which we found delightful. A very comfortable outside seating area where we spent most of our time.
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional - walking distance to town.
beautiful covered deck and outlook to sit and chat.
overall a beautiful home.

Everything that you needed

Beautiful furnishings and extra touches like flowering plants and items of interest
- Julie (10/5): Christmas in July and a Birthday Celebration Weekend. - The cottage was delightful. The location was fabulous. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was filled with everything that we needed including a coffee plunger and a pair of scissors. There was even a vegetable garden out back that we were able to forage fresh vegetables from. An added bonus was having Netflix available so that I could watch Bridgerton. My friends and I wereTere very impressed with everything, the location, the fireplace, there were things there that we didn't realise we needed them until we did, such as a pair of scissors. There wasn't a pack of cards available.
- Glenda (10/5): Cannot recommend highly enough. - Booked at short notice for 4 adults and the communication was excellent. Loved the fireplace and each bedroom had reverse cycle heating and electric blankets on each bed. The conservatory was perfect for breakfast and we enjoyed the vegetables from the garden. Appreciated the items provided in the fridge and the fireplace set and ready to go with plenty of firewood. Close to the main street and in a quiet location. It was an excellent house for us to stay in and we took some fan heaters to use in the bathroom and kitchen which made the cold mornings more comfortable.
- Annette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (10/5): A beautiful house with little extras provided. Great location and a most delightful sunroom - The location, the ambience, the furnishings, the sun room, the indoor plants and flowers and the garden. Having to leave

- Gopal (10/5): Great place, great hosts and Maleny is such a special place! - Beautiful and comfortable house.. great location and so much find for the kids with them chooks!!! Only one bathroom.. but it’s fine for a small family..
- Janelle (9/5): Superb - As our stay was in winter, the fire on the first night was ready to go, just had to light. Beautiful local produce provided. Fresh eggs from the homes hens. Beds fabulous and comfortable. A beautiful, quiet position. It's just a fabulous place to stay. Nothing.
- Jo (8/5): Tamarind Street - Comfortable and had all we needed in the kitchen for utensils, knives etc. Loved having the chickens which kept us entertained and we got fresh eggs each day. Only thing missing was some board games or packs of cards.

- Josie (9/5): Delightful stay in a gorgeous, beautifully furnished, well appointed cottage. - It was immaculate, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and well appointed. LOVED the rugs!! Loved the furniture, the wood heater and the plants. The owners were friendly, generous and attentive. We appreciated the extras - milk, bread, tea/coffee and cooking basics, firewood. The hot water (shower) seemed a bit temperamental.
