Guest Reviews
- Soukkila (10/5): Loistopaikka! - Sijainti on loistava ja asunto todella hyvä. Ystävällinen asiakaspalvelu. Asunnosta löytyy kaikki tarvittava vaikka pidempäänkin majoittumiseen.
- Pekka (4/5): - Varaus kokonaisuudessaan toimi sujuvasti.

- Holland (7/5): A good city crashed if you up for the bed ladder! - Good location and parking. Living space is good. It has all you need. The bathroom is tiny! The bath doesn't drain. The step to the sleeping area we're a tad tricky for this 60+ year old!
- Christos (2/5): Probably the least comfortable place I have stayed at, and the worst value for money I can recall. - The check-in was rather easy, the keys were stored in a lock-box by the building courtyard. Unlocking the apartment door was a bit hit and miss (you might need to re-enter the key a couple of times).
The location is near the centre, about 10 minute walk from the main square and a bit further to the river. Unfortunately, that’s where the good things end. I booked the apartment for two people expecting a double bed (or maybe two single beds). The ground floor couch-bed that you can see in the pictures was not made and the only available bed was a single bed available through a ladder. I am not sure how this qualifies as a 2-person accommodation. The WC was sadly the least practical I have ever seen, you need to climb three tiny stairs to arrive at the toilet and then, whether you choose to stand or sit, you would be sure to touch the sink opposite the toilet seat (or the seat if you are using the sink). The bathtub was another point of failure as it was clogged. Upon communication with the owner, I was given a liquid to unblock it, which thankfully worked. The bathtub is not connected to a drainpipe, rather the water flows through the bathtub drain over the air, to a drain hole on the floor. It’s the first time I see such a system, but I don’t mind as long as it works. Unfortunately, it’s easier to make a mess on the floor as the water pours over the drain, and there was not a single bath mat provided to remedy the situation.
The place was semi clean. While the floors and tables were mostly clean, several horizontal surfaces were obviously dusty, and hair was present throughout the apartment. The hot plate was obviously stored after use, full of crumbles and dust. On the second day, while making breakfast, the carbon monoxide detector that was tucked away over the kitchen table (about a meter away from the hotplate, without any sort of ventilation in the kitchen), went off in a piercing sound and it took me some time to understand what was going on and disconnect it. Needless to say, I did not need coffee that day. While there is a dishwasher in the flat, the kitchen sink is so tiny that it’s practically impossible to wash anything besides cutlery without making a huge mess. The cutlery was inside the dishwasher when I arrived, I had to take it out myself.
