Guest Reviews
- Revathi (7/5): Overal good staycation - The property is clean and nice. Can add some few upgrade in the toilet to keep small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and small size of soap instead of using soap. Like use and throw for hygiene purposes. Other than that it’s beautiful place to stay. Reused soap. For hygiene purposes need to avoid that
- Zihao (10/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Very comfortable. - Beyond expectations - Value for money There was no milk but I think it was just an oversight. Lots of kangaroos who don't have road sense.
- Monika (10/5): Great facilities, comfy bed - Very modern and clean Location and some info about the area, including shops, ATMs, Takeaway places would be handy. It was a bit hard to find so signage would be a good idea.
- Peter (1/5): - Nothing It was situated more than ten kilometres from where stated on booking.com. it is located on the side of a hill, that you need to be a mountain goat to get from the parking area, if there's parking available. The entrance does not allow for disabled people to enter the room without risking a fall. In short it's neither safety or secure.
- Robin (9/5): Relaxing and well priced. - Quiet, clean and comfortable. The room was warm and the air conditioner took the chill out in the morning. I could have prepared meals but didn’t need that as I ate with my family. A pleasant place to stay. Nothing, it was perfect for my needs.
- Abhijeet (7/5): - Close to shopping centre and city Sometimes too noisy
- Phillip (9/5): - Had trouble using key in the front door, seemed to stick and took several attempts to open.
- Angela (10/5): - Very comfortable and cozy
- Nicholas (9/5): - Clean and tidy and cheap Only providing 1 towel when the add was for two people
- Seymour-Smith (8/5): Really nice, would be great for a long stay. - Lots of utilities - kitchen especially. Comfy clean bed and a nice shower.
- Aashel (9/5): Good place to stay for a few nights. Clean and tidy - Good place to stay for a few nights. Saw a few kangaroos while enjoying morning coffee. Clean tidy. Few minor items missing from kitchen. Parking on street close to a bend seemed hazardous, however low car volume on street.
- Bree (10/5): Absolutely amazing thank you again for all your help -
- Rebecca (9/5): Beautiful, modern accommodation. Simple but had all necessary facilities. Clean & easy location. Love that it had it - This accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Clean, cosy, well priced, modern, quiet area, close enough to various locations. The coffee provided had clumped and didn’t seem fresh (I believe that does happen with heat so could have been that) but there was also no milk provided anyway.
- Kamal (8/5): - Clean, facility's Towels
- Naomi (8/5): -
- Craig (9/5): Overall, the stay was excellent - Beautiful little unit for 2 people new apartment everything provided cooking appliances and cutlery. Extra toilet paper area is quiet as it is a new estate. Bed and pillows are super comfy. Netflix and YouTube provided. There were no external bins provided to put your rubbish as it accumulated over a week's stay. As the unit is underneath the main living residence there is quite a lot of foot traffic noise from the kids running around upstairs.
Check in information was not provided until right on the 3.00pm arrival time allowed via email so left us hanging despite ringing the phone number which no one answered. Check in information should have been provided the morning of arrival.

- Nerissa (10/5): - Nice & quiet at night, clean & comfortable
- Ernest (8/5): Pleasant and clean and would recommend. - Clean and comfortable The very strong smell of what we associate with moth balls.
- Happy Holidays (8/5): Great place to stay whilst working in Canberra. - Nice quiet location, unit is small but very clean and has all the basics you need.
- Sharif (10/5): -
- Garima (10/5): All good - Nice clean and tidy It was perfect
- Sharif (10/5): -
- Ryen (10/5): We enjoyed our location central to many activities in Canberra. - Clean and well presented at an affordable price. Would happily stay again. Very convenient for meals with stovetop, airfryer etc. Located in such a beautiful neighbourhood.
- Diego (9/5): Muy buen alojamiento - Todo muy correcto, es lo que esperas al ver las fotos y tiene todo lo necesario. Las almohadas podrian mejorarse
- Kylie (8/5): Nice tidy location - The property was perfect for what we needed it was clean and close enough (within 7 minutes) of a Coles or Aldi for anything needed It had a really heavy smell of mothballs I woke in the middle of the night with sore eyes and all our luggage smells of it, when we arrived at our destination tonight we were asked if our bags had been in storage I’ve had to wash all clothes
- Petra (9/5): -
- Thomas (5/5): Needs better details and expectations - It was affordable and easy to drive into the city. When booking, it had nothing about dogs needing to be professionally groomed, only told by the host once booked. Having my dog groomed by a 'professional' is well over $100, could easily stay somewhere much nicer with that cost considered and it should be disclosed as it explicitly says 'no extra charges' in relation to pets in the booking. A simple brush or clean should suffice. Given the lack of furniture, it also seems excessive. I parked on the street in front of the accommodation, leaving a safe distance from around the bend. I got asked to move the car which I don't really understand as the park was perfectly legal. It was raining and I had lots of bags so wasn't happy that the expectation would be to walk it all a further distance. As other reviews stated there is noise from upstairs but it stops at night so not the biggest issue. In the description it does mention milk but opened the fridge for it to be empty. There's also a camera right at the front that leaves the feeling of being watched, althougu I understand wanting to protect the property. In hindsight would have rather spent more money and stayed elsewhere.
- Praveen Babu (9/5): The studio was cozy and well-equipped, but the security camera outside the house was uncomfortable. - We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and well-maintained studio. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. However, overall, it was a great experience and we’d still recommend it to others! The only minor drawback was the presence of a security camera outside the house, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.
- Reshma (7/5): I would definitely book again. - Pet friendly, loads of beautifully laid out walking paths right outside, the room itself had everything we needed a few extra would be nice but can’t complain. It was a great spot though a little outside Canberra. Worked great for us. Can hear the family upstairs.
The bed linen had cigarette odour. I’m guessing the guest before was a smoker and maybe the duvet cover was not changed.
- Alexander (9/5): Superb - It was so cute and comfortable, great location and great value for money N/A
- Aunima (9/5): Clean and perfect for a short stay - The property was very clean and just enough for a one night stay. We didn’t hear any noise upstairs I wish there were shampoo and conditioner available and face cloths
- Sharif (5/5): Passable - Quiet location. Foot noise from upstirs, straight over the bed. Floor was not vaccumed properly!
- Ammad (10/5): Amazing place to stay super clean and super comfy - Newly built room and bathroom. Was super clean. Was well heated. Made it very comfy. We did have to set an arrival time for the host to provide us with the code for the keys lock box. There was some anxiety on the day when during the day I couldn't reach the phone number the host provided. I was relieved when they reach out eventually :D
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean and really pretty.
- Robert (9/5): Superb - Very cosy and comfortable. Easy check in and communication. Bit noisy in the morning (could hear footsteps/family upstairs) but other than that it's great for one or two nights stay.
- Manpreet (8/5): Comfortable studio - Studio was clean and well equipped especially the kitchen amenities. Good value for money. Sometimes was bit noisy during day times
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, comfortable bed. Amila was very responsive.
- Taehyuk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharif (8/5): Very good -
- Tomas (10/5): We had a cosy and comfortable stay. Ideal if you just need a clean place to sleep and rest . - the airfryer (though we did not get a chance to cook) but I was not expecting one.
new/modern furnishings and fittings (i like the shower)
bed was comfortable
netflix
wifi strong enough had to figure out how to work out the lock box, eventually did
footsteps noise upstairs early morning
the nature strip outside with overgrown grass/weeds. Had to walk through it from car to front door.
a bit of a distance from the city centre.
- Shubham (8/5): Very good -
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (8/5): Good Value in a Quiet Location. - This was all I needed for two nights in Canberra. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen area was well-equipped. As the room is on the lower level of a house on a sloping block, it was a very comfortable temperature even on the fairly hot day I was there. I would certainly consider it again the next time I visit Canberra. It was a surprise to find no milk supplied at all. (Had to head out again and find a supermarket.) Also no shampoo/conditioner, but I usually carry that with me. The car needs to be parked across the road, which is no great problem, but then you need to cross the nature strip that is either muddy or dusty, and uneven with weeds. A few pavers could fix that. So, only minor things that aren’t a deal breaker.
- Wayne (10/5): Quiet and Peaceful with a nice little view. - We loved how comfy the bed was, with a real kitchenette, a mid-sized fridge and a sink (you don't have to wash up in the bathroom) good internet connection, good sized shower. all-in all we were very comfortable.
Quiet Neiborhood and no traffic noise.
Modern clean build.
Very good value for money.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Very good value for money. Clean and quiet.
- 子婷 (8/5): Very good - I love the settings in the room There are some insects
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful outlook Unfortunately the air-conditioner wasn't working.
- Martina (7/5): Good - Very cosy place, comfortable to stay for one night while travelling on the road! I loved that the property is pet friendly, in fact I travelled there with my dog. Unfortunately I am highly allergic to cats and woke up with pretty bad swollen eyes and runny nose. Not sure if it was due to previous guests being there with cats.
- Soeren (10/5): Fantastic small apartment in a quiet suburb. - A fantastic small apartment to the latest standard. Great bathroom and big fridge. Very quiet and easy parking within 20 meters.
Great value for money. All perfect.
- Daniel (10/5): Great coat safe place - Cosy and safe great place Parking
- Daniel (10/5): Perfect fresh, bright and modern - Fresh bright and modern Parking
- Yvonne (8/5): Very good -
- Darryl (7/5): Good -
- Qiaoyu (10/5): Great. It's really nice, comfy bed, comfy bathroom and nice small kitchen. Great for a short stay. - Very nice and little Bnb.
- Smarika (7/5): Good -
- Danielle (8/5): Very good - The room had all the amenities I needed for my stay and was very clean. I only received my check-in details the day after I had checked out but fortunately I was able to get the details from the owner upstairs.
I was also woken up in the morning around 8.30am by young children running and screaming upstairs which was a shock.
- Michael (10/5): Pleasant surprise and great value for money - will be back! :-) -
- Malcolm (10/5): Arrived late easy to find and get in - It was a beautiful cosy studio with a clean new kitchen and bathroom with an amazing shower. The bed was comfortable will definitely stay again Nothing
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional - Great value. Clean and modern.
- Camille (10/5): Extremely clean, thank you -
- Dijanne (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable, and clean
- Naomi (9/5): Lovely and well appointed with everything we needed. Quiet at night. - Perfect little studio apartment. Had everything we needed. Loved the fact it was pet friendly.
Had a bit of trouble finding the lock box at night. Would have appreciated a hand towel in the bathroom. One suggestion I have would be to make the lovely outdoor area a bit more private and pop a gate on so pets can be outside safely.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Damp (10/5): Pleasant area, easy access and lovely hosts. - The hosts were so lovely. Nothing
- Grant (8/5): Good quiet neigbourhood. Value for money. - Location and value for money. Nothing
- David (9/5): A very comfortable place to stay with all the comforts of home. - The accommodation was very comfortable and had every facility that could be needed. It was very clean and in an ideal location for us as we were only 10 mins from family. The owner/manager was very obliging and asked us to call anytime if we needed anything. Very happy with accommodation and will stay again in the future. The weather was a bit cold but I guess that doesn't count.
- Carol (9/5): Great location close to the people I was visiting. Private and cozy as promised. - Location- there is a limited amount of accommodation in this part of Canberra. I thought it unusual that the owners requested I only take four minutes showers. That seemed somewhat austere as it takes at least one minute for the water to warm up.
- Alexander (10/5): Excellent value for money, a very well-equipped, comfortable and quiet accommodation - Fantastic place to say, with lots of amenities including a fridge-freezer, kettle, microwave and air-fryer, to make for a very comfortable and quiet self-catered stay. It is modern and clean, and made a great base for my two-night visit to Canberra. Parking on the street was easy, and I could tell that the owners went out of their way to create a beautiful accommodation space. I particularly liked the little bench and patio outside, where I could enjoy my morning coffee with a nice view over the city below. Excellent value for money - thanks for a great stay in Canberra!
- Felix (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darryl (7/5): Good -
- Phillip (9/5): Good value for money stay in Canberra's northern suburbs. - Everything was provided, especially kitchen utensils which are often missing in this type of accommodation. Bathroom was spacious, drawers under the basin provided lots of room for toiletries, again an area often lacking. Bed was comfortable. On street parking available, best around corner as entry to unit on steep street. Due to lack of space, no lounge chairs to watch TV from, but could sit in bed to watch.
- Farah (10/5): Warmth,Cosy and Clean just like Home! - Cosy, warmth, super clean and the kitchen facilities exceeded my expectations. Parking was near to our private entrance. Can't fault it. Even took pictures of this place to show my friends how wonderful this place is.Simply superb! Highly recommended. None at all.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - Warm, comfy, good price, quiet, clean It would have been helpful to have some instructions for finding the right door/lock box for the key :)
- Tiana (9/5): All round it was very clean, good value for money and convenient location. - Super clean property.
Everything was provided, from utensils to towels and decent bedding.
Property was accommodating with later check in and prompt replies to messages.
The heating was great, only had to run it for about 20 mins and then turn off as it heated the unit very quickly.
Very quiet during the night.
Parking available across from the unit on street.
Wifi worked fine on tv and phone connection.
Less than 10 min drive to Gungahlin shopping district.
Walking path and open area across the road to take the dogs.
I would definitely stay again. While quiet at night, it’s noisy during the day from upstairs, chairs sliding, running/stomping so unless you are a heavy sleeper, you may not be able to have naps during the day.
Awkward position if you have accessibility issues. The unit sits on top of a steep hill and parking is across the road just below from the unit. If you use a cane or have something like MS as I do, it can be very awkward bringing in the luggage from your car to the unit. If you don’t have any accessibility issues, it wouldn’t be a problem.
The only thing I would suggest is maybe leave a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. I spilt some coffee and all that I had on hand to clean it up was tea towel and tiny sponge :)
- Lilian (8/5): New, comfortable and very clean - It was clean and comfortable. All amenities included Off street parking only
- Melissa (9/5): Cute and quaint and great price. - So cute and has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen. Super comfy bed and wifi with streaming on tv. It’s part of a house on ground level with floors above you. Unfortunately the write up say semi detached but it’s not, does have a seperate entrance though and you won’t run into the house owners. Was mostly ok but could hear people upstairs here and there. Didn’t cause me any issues and they were pretty quiet.
The owner is very nice but not timely with providing lock box codes for key retrieval. Learnt the hard way as I turned up urgently needing the toilet and didn’t have a code and then couldn’t reach them on the phone for an hour or 2. Second time I asked for the code in advance which I got but then the code was wrong so I had to ring the owner again.
- Reeyazna (7/5): Host was helpful. The place is very cozy located in a great area. - Great kitchen and very cosy. No door mat to wipe shoes on for rainy days and there were brown stains on the quilt cover. These could’ve been removed with a wash so i’m not sure if the cover was washed.
- Melissa (9/5): Superb - Clean and quaint
- Rebecca (10/5): Great place to stay overnight with pets. Would stay again 100% - Travelled to ACT with my 2 corgis for 1 night.
When I arrived, I was told the property still needed to be cleaned so I couldn’t check in. Not going to lie, this took me slightly by surprise as I had pre-confirmed a check in time before my arrival.
However, once inside, it couldn’t have been a more pleasant stay. The place was so clean, bed super comfy, has full kitchen facilities and the shower pressure was awesome! It’s a really quiet neighbourhood and the property is opposite a big reserve - perfect for dogs.
Great value for money and I would definitely stay again.
- Darryl (8/5): Very good -
- Joanne (10/5): The property was out of Canberra , so very nice and fitted out, I really felt like a princess. - No brekky provided I couldn't work the TV but then I didn't really have to. I did have to park across the road and down bit but that wasn't too bad, I could have parked outside the front temporarily had I wanted to unload closer.
I wanted a property to the north of Canberra and as it is described as situated in Hall I felt this was handy to the HWY but found that misleading as the suburb that comes up with the address is actually Taylor. I followed google maps and saw the main road to Hall went straight ahead and I was lead to turn off earlier and drive some distance away to the right. In the morning I set off to Yass so I had to retrace my steps, later passing the road to Hall on my right. I think the place should say Taylor, with easy access to main routes into Canberra from the NW.
- Phillipa (10/5): Crazy Cat Lady! 🐈 - Thank You!! - For a Wonderful Stay!!
Lady Solo Traveller, Very Clean, Cosy & Comfortable at a Great Price!!
Would Happily Recommend a Stay, As I'll be returning in the future.
Also has the added bonus of being, Very Pet Friendly!! 🌝 A++
- Manoeln (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (9/5): Fantastic comfy short stay. - Location great for us. Great little bedsit for a 2 or 3 night stay. Comfy bed. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. A small suggestion...... doormat inside the door as it was raining and hard to keep the floor clean.
- Rofljay1 (10/5): Worth it! - Great Communication, and price.. room was just right for our stay.. Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable - It was quiet, clean and had everything I required.
- Susan (5/5): Needs improvement for communications and issues at the property - The owner did listen to my concerns when I eventually was able to talk to him when I left the premises the next day..... No instructions given for accommodations. No lighting at night when I arrived. Couldn't find key pad at first. Very difficult to put in code due to hanging at difficult angle on fence when trying to access. Upside down....
No wi-fi password given till next day. No milk for coffee and tea which was provided.
Very bright light outside on side on premises - not able to turn them off.
Ordinary lighting in bathroom especially over mirror. Weird shower tap.
- Peter (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed and value for money - Extremely clean and everything was there as described, coffee, tea, and toiletries for shower. Found it extremely comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend to others. Enjoyed my stay and value for money. Very impressed with unit Bed felt like a double not a queen (maybe this is just me). Maybe a king bed would be better. Slight noise from above but understand owners lives upstairs and some noise is to be expected.
- Aamir (8/5): Very good -
- Jignesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leny (10/5): Perfectly comfortable, will stay again. - Gorgeous little place with everything you need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Will stay again. Nothing to dislike, it was all great.
- Colleen (10/5): Loved loved loved my stay here! - This was one of the BEST places I have ever stayed at (and I have stayed at hundreds). I don’t know where to start … the owners are just so super lovely. We had a blackout one night, and the owner came to check on me that I was okay and offered candles. The unit is brand new and has been thoughtfully kitted out with anything you could possibly need. It is decorated like a display home and has all those beautiful little touches you wont find anywhere else. I stayed for 6 nights and absolutely loved it and has been a highlight of my 4 month trip around Australia. Its situated on the outskirts of gorgeous Canberra but I quite enjoyed the drive in everyday, rather than staying in the city centre. Having to leave!
