• Yannick (10/5): Great stay - Tania is very welcoming, bright and friendly. Amazing host and gave plenty of recommendations. She was also lovely to chat with in general. Amazing location in Russafa, many good restaurants close by. Close to the old town by walking. The apartment was well kept and clean, and has such a rich history. It was an honour to be welcomed into a family home like this. The room was spacious and the balcony in the mornings was a nice touch.

Comodo a spostamenti a piedi o in bicicletta per la città, vicino al centro (10 min) e alla zona del mare (20 min). Host molto gentile e disponibile. L'appartamento è semplice ma dotato di tutti i servizi di base. Noi eravamo in 3 ed era perfetto per le nostre necessità di base.

• Erik (9/5): Geweldig, lekker fietsen, wandelen een heerlijke stad. - We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de Tania onze gastvrouw. Ze is ontzettend lief, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie ligt in het gezellige Ruzafa. Heerlijk verblijf, echt een aanrader.

• Laura (10/5): Excellent rooms in a cute apartment in Ruzafa! - What a wonderful week in Ruzafa! We loved staying with Tania in this apartment. She remodeled it about a year ago, and it is just as lovely as it looks in the photos: beautiful artwork and furniture, flowers growing on the balcony, privacy (and air conditioning) in our rooms (we slept in the main bed across from the couch, and used the small bed in the side room for our luggage), and it smells wonderful as she uses scent diffusers. The toilet is separate from the shower and sink, and both are down the hall from the sleeping area. There are screens for the doors to the balconies, as well as excellent shutters to block heat - and the conversations at night from the outdoor seating at restaurants at the corner. Speaking of restaurants, we ate at Tanamadana twice - highly recommended. The apartment is on the first floor, so you only have to climb two flights of stairs (no lift.) We didn’t want to leave! Tania is a warm and kind host, and the apartment is an easy walk to the central city, just down the way from Mercat de Ruzafa, and close to the Parc Central which is a wonderful place to relax or take a stroll.
• Nela (9/5): Warm and welcoming host in a vivacious neighborhood - The host was nice and welcoming. The apartment is shared with the host and there is a big room with a double bed connected to a smaller room with an additional bed. The location is on a quiet street and the bars and the crowds are just around the corner. The shower was fully equipped with shampoo, conditioners and body wash, and there were also other toiletries available. Neighbors were sometimes noisy (stomping or watching tv loudly).

• A (3/5): hot and stressful, lack of privacy - Location in the city was fine. Room was clean. No privacy at all! We didn't know that the two beds were basically in the living room of the owner. The owner herself stayed in the hall of the house with a table and a chair. If you wanted to go to the toilet, you had to pass the owner. We travelled to Valencia when the days and nights were very hot (32 C in the day). Therefore the airco was on BUT, because of the heat in the whole apartment, the owner insisted that the door from the living room stayed open. Because there was a big mirror in the opposite of the door, the owner who was sitting in the hall could see everything in the guest room! We felt watched We felt watched and my fellow traveller got very nervous and anxious because of this. On top of that there was a big hole in the wall in another corner of the open-door (sleeping/living) room which was next to the sleeping room of the owner. This way, the cool air from the airco in our room could circulate throughout the whole apartment... Consequence was there was no privacy what so ever. And finally: the owner had the remote of the airco and consequently it stayed much too warm in the room. In the night it stayed much too warm. When we talked to the owner the next morning she lied and pretended that the airco was broke... Which wasn't true, because later on (I tried to see if I was maybe the only one with this experience) I read an old review with exactly the same experience from another guest. We didn’t stay the next days. I immediately booked a hotel room for the next days because this wasn’t a place to be able to came to rest after the warm days in Valencia.

• Anonymous (4/5): nice location buuuut - location The owner at first meeting feels like a nice older lady, but she’s very meddlesome. There is an air conditioner, but at first we were only allowed to open the windows for night (where temperature was even higher then at room). We were able to use it after two days when we said that it’s just way too hot at night and she didn’t give us a pilot but turn it on and took with her and in the morning after she woke up she turned it off. There is no such a thing like privacy. Also if you want to take a shower you’re allowed to take only very short one because she was standing outside the door waiting until you will finish because she’s turning off the gas. I’ve never in my entire life felt so uncomfortable in any places that I’ve visited.
