- Vera (1/5): Horrible - Nothing really Very dirty especially bathroom noisy with baby in house I left soon I get there didn’t even stay sleeping there
- Jeffrey (9/5): Excellent and relaxing - The location was perfect. The house was very clean and great room.
- Jeremiah (8/5): I’m happy for the stay - Very quite and neat, warm Nothing
- Andrew (4/5): Underwhelming - It was immediately next to a major park which I visited daily. Very noisy, the host, his wife and young child occupied the downstairs living room and the baby was constantly noisy. Felt quite unwelcome at the property, too.

- Babatunde (3/5): Not as comfortable as it looks in picture - Nothing Residential .. No privacy owner occupied with a baby disturbing all night. No value for money .

- Georg-mary (8/5): - Friendliness Clean
- Francisco (4/5): It was a mistake...but we survived. - It was not very far away from the city, you can catch a bus that will take 40-60 minutes to the city center.
What you get is: a big (king size?) bed on a small bedroom on a SHARED house and a SHARED bathroom. The booking page is very different from the actual experience. What you get its only a small bedroom with a King size bed on a Shared House and a Shared bathroom. Most of the amenities of the booking page are fake. There is no wi fi, we were never introduced to a Kitchen neither a washing machine. We survived but we would never make the same mistake. I would absolutely prefer a proper hotel, this is like a poor Airbnb with only a shared bathroom and a bedroom. We were not sure of the cleaning service, visually it was alright but things lack hotel level cleaning. You will be living with the wife and the baby of the owner and other guest at the top floor, 3 separate rooms.

- Martine (4/5): - The only thing that was good about our stay there was that the bed was comfortable and the towels were clean. And its near Dublin and the motorways. The name Garden Luxe Retreat is in name only. Nothing was luxurious about the place. We never met the owners as they left us the Keys, but we heard them late at night until more than 2am. The place was dirty and grubby. The surfaces had not been cleaned, even the chair was sticky. The description given on the site is false. No tea tray or kettle. Patio, living room?? They said we could use the kitchen but it was so messy and dirty we didnt dare touch anything. The worst thing is we are 100% sure that the bed sheet had not been changed from the previous occupant. I would not recommend going there.

- Nick (5/5): Not a Retreat - The host family were friendly and helpful. Don't be fooled by the word "Retreat" in the title of this property. You will be renting a normal bedroom in a normal house with a normal family in a normal, lower-middle class neighbourhood on the far outskirts of Dublin.
The property isn't within walking distance of amenities. The nearest train station to get into Dublin is about 2.5 km away.
- Thulani (7/5): Its a good stay. Only the showers were not clean then again it is being used by everyone. - The host was very much welcoming The shower was not clean

- Cristian (8/5): A pleasant vacation in Ireland - The location did not offer breakfast, but it had a well-equipped kitchen, which we had easy access to and where we could prepare our breakfast and sometimes dinner. The location is located in a very quiet area, next to Hartstown Park and near bus stops connecting to Dublin. I didn't have access to wi-fi.

- Alejandro (9/5): Good - My experience at The Garden Luxe Retreat was exceptional. The place is the perfect blend of tranquility and style, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The room was comfortable, bright, and immaculately clean. The garden is a real gem: peaceful, well-maintained, and full of thoughtful details that invite relaxation.
The service was warm and professional at all times, and it was clear that every detail was considered to make guests feel at home. The location is also great: a quiet area with easy access to the city center.
I would absolutely recommend it and would definitely return. Simply fantastic!

- Jacki (4/5): UNFRIENDLY HOST OFFERING NO HELP IN AN ISOLATED PROPERTY IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WITH DIRTY ROOM - spacious, comfortable bed, pillows and duvet no pre-arrival messages sent by host; on arrival no friendly welcome or small talk by host (and certainly no goodbye when leaving property); only words host had with guest was simply to tell them where the bedroom was; guest was not shown kitchen, so believed had no access to it as all doors were kept closed downstairs, in addition; guest had to ask where bathroom was and shortest route to road (Google Maps will say to get off at bus stop 1874, it is actually 1875). From bus stop to the house should be a 10-15-minute walk, but can take 30mins (locals don't know the place), which takes you through a maze of estate houses and a large park, completely unlit after dark, where scramblers apparently ride up close to people, and where lots of dogs run loose, some chasing other dogs aggressively; bedsheet suspect, in terms of bits of stuff found on it; skirting boards in bedroom thick with black dirt; bedside table tops black with dirt; intermittent repeated loud banging of front door and other interior doors in the property (booking was made to get away from such noise); no TV in the room; entire room taken up with unnecessarily huge wardrobe, which could well be replaced with a small table and chair instead, where no access to kitchen; toilet was blocked until the next morning, and would not flush at other times; property is a 15-min walk to nearest supermarket, where the hot deli food counter is closed by 4:30pm; local establishment next to supermarket does not offer a menu; for people using public transport, journey is a good 1.5 hours by overcrowded bus from the property to the city centre on a Sunday morning; all-in-all, not an impressive experience, or one that will be repeated any time soon!
- Demmy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pablo (7/5): Good -
- Emma (4/5): Disappointing - There was a nice big bed and location was close to shopping centres Went for a shower in a shared bathroom and the shower tray was full of pubes and when trying to rinse them away the drain was blocked so they kept coming back up. House smelled of curry
- Daud (1/5): Smells, not clean, not quieter, no money value. - It’s very cold , not clean, noisy family they fight and other people come in to the house. Smell is unbearable, also there are three cats, inside the house. Kitchen is full of stuff, every is food, even rotten vegetables, no money valued, areas is to far but it’s ok if the property is good. Nothing is not good completely,
- Deimante (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuen (8/5): Very good -
- Katjipaha (10/5): Humble and lovely landlord 🥰🥰 - I really like the place it’s was cool and nice place humble people I meet there. The place was soo neat Nothing
- Oyewole (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - Friendly host. Fairly close to the M50. Clean and comfortable. A shared bathroom. Older people are better with an ensuite.
- Amir (1/5): Scammer, beware! - The guy is a scammer. We booked a large king room with two beds, but upon arrival, he showed us a very small room with one bed, which we literally could not fit into. I had paid for three nights in advance on Booking.com and didn't stay there at all. I spent 50 EUR on a taxi to his location and then another 40 EUR to get to the next hotel. Since I was with my family and we were tired, I booked the first available hotel, which cost me 100 EUR more than I usually pay. Additionally, the guy refuses to refund me the 250 EUR I paid for the three nights. In total, I lost around 400 EUR because of this scammer. I don't understand how Booking.com allows this, and I am currently trying to get my money back through them.
The most absurd part is that the owner claimed he contacted me to inform me that he would give me a room with one bed instead of two. I checked all my emails and Booking.com pages, but there was no such message. He then sent me a screenshot of a message he had written in an "internal note" on the property page, which is only visible to property owners and not customers. When I pointed this out, he didn't respond.
Interestingly, in his internal message, he mentioned that he couldn't provide a room with two beds and asked if I was okay with that. Even if I had seen the message, I would have refused, as I paid for a king room for my family and received a tiny room with one bed. By sending me this screenshot, he essentially admitted to scamming me. I am eager to see how Booking.com will respond. If they don't refund my money and remove this guy from their platform, I will immediately close my Booking.com account and never use it again.
In short: THIS PROPERTY OWNER IS A SCAMMER. BEWARE! I didn't stay at the room because we as a 3 adults rented a king room with 2 beds but were given small room in which barely one bed fit.
- Maske (4/5): Not Recommanded at All.. - Nothing Dirty toilet, Toiletries not available, got after request in the mid night. Other Guy lives there and uses same toilet. So toilet is in sharing and didn't mentioned on website.
No one opened door after many rings. Lastly, I contacted to number given on Booking.com and the guy who lives there opened door.
No proper drinking water.
No restaurants nearby.
Didn't feel safe for family.
This is not a double room and not facing towards park as mentioned on Booking.com.
This is residential home and shared with other people and using same toilet and kitchen.
Not suitable for bus user and for cab user it might cost you a lot as it is away from city centre and not close to city centre which was mentioned on Booking.com.
- Melanie (5/5): Was sufficient for my purpose of short stay but couldn’t recommend - Room was clean Nobody answered door on arrival, double bedroom turned out to be a single box room, dirty shower, toilet flush not working, had to figure out location of bathroom, nobody around
