• Traveller (10/5): Don't book a weekend, book a long weekend !!! - What an cracking place to stay, right from the get go the hosts made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast, right down to what type of milk and bread we liked, the property itself was one of the best I've stayed in everything was spot on, we did like no TV we had Bluetooth speaker and it came down to a nightly games that are on site. A very relaxing place to stay and unwind for a couple of nights. We didn't stay long enough. And the Bellini stove will cost me dearly in our kitchen remodel!!!! but a lovely kitchen.

Loved the architecture, the beautiful small details and fine touches, the place was immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and warm, and the service was personable and very welcoming. We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the most relaxing and romantic stay. We will most definitely be back. None of it! We loved every single moment of our stay. We had an absolute blast!! We highly recommend this accommodation to our family and friends.
• Natasha Nevill (10/5): Absolutely perfect. - The old school house is a stunning property and has clearly been restored with love and attention to detail. Despite being along the road once we were in the property we found it so peaceful and relaxing (no road noise). Being able to walk to the pub for dinner and the bakery makes it the perfect location for a slow and restful stay. Mon and Charlie were so welcoming and had thought of everything. We wished we had stayed longer.

The hosts were very welcoming, the atmosphere of the beautifully restored building, and the decor all reflects the work that went into the building's restoration. The bedroom is cosy, the rooms had everything we needed and every detail was taken care of. The living areas are spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after exploring the region or dining out. The hosts took the time to understand our needs and recommended some local places and businesses to us, which we appreciated. Only booking for two nights! To fix this fault, we'll be back again to enjoy the lovely restored Old School House, the hospitality and the culinary adventures to be had, literally within minutes.
• Michael (10/5): More than a stay, but a great experience. - From the first day that Mon and Charlie greeted us to share the history of this beautiful old school restoration we knew we were in for a great weekend. Their love and attention in perfecting this transformation into a spectacular couples retreat is evident in every detail within this beautiful space. We also quickly found that their hard work has made them hero’s in the local community where we had the pleasure of talking to a local who’s father had attended the school as a child and how much it meant to them as a family to see the school so lovingly restored. Thanks Mon and Charlie for a great stay.
