• Dāvis (8/5): A great, cozy place to stay despite minor inconveniences - The modern feel of the accommodation. The necessary furniture was provided and allocated accordingly. Great location - close to the metro and University campus. Multiple shops close-by. Charming hallway. The bathroom is designed impractically and caused issues - had to put down towels to prevent a flood. There were no standard sized coffee cups, not enough garbage bags and toilet paper was provided for the whole stay.
• Hicham (7/5): Not bad - the basement apartment is well equipped. the neighborhood has a Bakery and many other stores for pretty much everything you would need there is a steep11 min walk to the metro. it's usually hot in Athens and if your are carrying luggage it becomes challenging. I could not take my shower upon arrival because I did not read a booklet that says I had to switch on the hot shower and wait for 30 min before I can take one.

• Andrew (9/5): Newly refurbished apartment within 10 minutes walk of Metro, close to city centre and National Museum. - The property was either brand new or recently renovated when I stayed. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, new towels. Very clean. Sufficient plug sockets. WiFi. Fridge/Freezer. Washing machine. Air con although not used. ‘Garden’ although not used. Location is about 10 minute walk from nearest Metro, which is 2 stops from Syntagma Square or 3 stops from Monistiraki, both central Athens’ destinations. I had some problems accessing the property when I first arrived, but Georgia responded immediately, and it was resolved within a few minutes. The property I stayed in was below street level and street side. I didn’t like the idea of opening the curtains or windows, so felt quite enclosed with no fresh ventilation. But for the time I spent in the flat, this was a minor issue. Parking nearby was a nightmare, but parking is NOT shown as available by the hosts. I mention for anyone thinking of bring a car. Best time to find a place nearby is between 8am and midday. Do not expect to be close to the apartment. There is a car park called Cityzen, within 10 minutes walk. €24 per 24 hours. There hot water needs to be put on upon arrival and takes 15 minutes to warm up. There are clear instructions for doing this.
