Guest Reviews
- Jørgen (8/5): Rigtig dejlig sted og beliggenhed - Rummelig lejlighed. Højt til loftet. Varme i gulvet.

- Antony (10/5): Fabulous location. Very short walk walk to the tube. Lovely apartment and well equipped. - The location was great, very close to the tube. The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean and had a little balcony.
This was a last minute booking as our previous booking with another firm was cancelled by them at very short notice. It turned out to be such a blessing as it is the most beautiful apartment. The people who own this lovely 2 bed Victorian apartment were so helpful and very kindly arranged for us to have access to the apartment so we could drop off our bags. We really appreciated their help as this meant we did not need to cancel or re-arrange the special plans we had made for our daughters birthday. Nothing. Everything was perfect, thank you
- Abdulaziz (10/5): Excellent -
- Rossella (8/5): - Appartamento luminoso e accogliente, posizione perfetta. Zona tranquilla. Bellissimo.
- Sharon (9/5): Nice apartment - Spacious apartment in a good location close to 2 tube stations. The rooms are bright and fresh and the bathroom and kitchen are both modern. Matched the pictures perfectly. The street is quiet and the bedrooms face the back of the property. Picking up the keys was really easy and there is a big supermarket very close by. It was very hot during our stay so having the balcony was a bonus. There are some steps inside the apartment which were fine for us but could be a problem for those with mobility issues. There were some areas that could be cleaner, the kitchen cups and glasses for example and the toilet.
- Synnøve (6/5): Great location but a bit dirty - Very good location and easy to get to from Earl’s Court underground. Large living area with both sofa and kitchen table.
Nice to see that there was enough toilet paper, dishwashing soap, salt, coffe, tea and sugar. The kitchen equipment was dirty and the cleaning staff had clearly not checked that previous guests had not washed properly. The kitchen is also not well stocked. Not enough glasses and just one small frying pan which is not enough for 4 people. There are no oven dishes so cooking in the oven wasn’t possible, unless you want pizza every night.
- Ben (6/5): A good property which be better with a couple of quick fixes - Close to the tube Limited parking
Only one set of keys provided
The windows don’t open
There was scaffold up the front of the property
The stair carpet is loose and dangerous when carrying large bags
- Bruce (10/5): As expected - It matched the description
- James (10/5): Nice spacious apartment in an excellent location -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Great
- Rebecca (9/5): Beautiful space, great location - Beautiful building, easy check in, spacious, clean. Too hot. The under floor heating was suffocating and no way to turn it off. Couldn’t keep window open as there was no prop.
Would stay again if this was fixed.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - We came as a family of four our stay was perfect from start to finish the apartment was beautiful and everything was perfect the beds were so comfy and Hollie was a brilliant host
We will definately be coming back
- Helen (10/5): Excellent airy apartment in a fantastic location - It was a large airy apartment on the first floor (no lift). Although it was close to Earls court Tube, it was very quiet with no street noise. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was small but had a fridge/freezer, oven, stove top, microwave and dishwasher. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. There was a washing machine in the bathroom. There is a step halfway down the passage way to the bathroom. I fell down it in the middle of the night as it’s hard to see as it looks like a continuation of the flooring. Maybe it needs some warning/hazard tape on it?
The kitchen had no sharp knives or even a bread knife making it difficult to prepare food or snacks. There was only one teaspoon.
- Jt (8/5): Great apartment with good space for the price. Excellent natural light. - Very convenient location between Earls Court and Gloucester Tubes. Good sized apartment. Beautiful bay windows. The bathroom door jammed open for some reason. Kitchen utensils could do with an upgrade, kettle a descale etc... but quite liveable and neat otherwise.
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Alasdair (1/5): Never got past the first hurdle.. - We didn’t even get into it! We couldn’t get the keys due to an error with the collection code!
- Sadettin (8/5): I advice to families, good nice and cozy atmosphere. - Location is great and reaching to the tube is very easy. Supermarket is only 3min walking distance, great! The property is suitable for families up-to 2 adults, 2 children. There was only one main door key and one apartment key. Two keys/each should have been better.
There is a step down in the long hall way and it is not easy to see that step at night specially, maybe a coloured stair nosing or a night led light can be installed to make it visible.
- Van (7/5): Quite a nice place to stay in Central London, but could do with a bit more attention. - Loved the location, how light the apartment was.
Was nice to have basic things you would need: shampoo, soap, coffee, tea, salt, washing tablets, etc.
Tube stations are about 7 minutes walk. Big supermarket around the corner. Apartment could do with some improvements. The light was flickering in the main room, entrance door lock was jamming the key, things left in the wardrobes were messy.
Stairs to the apartment might be unsustainable and dangerous for older people or people with reduced mobility (carpet and is not attached and you can slide down the stairs easily).
- Julia (8/5): Very good - Location
Space
- Joel (9/5): Superb -
- Andy (8/5): Very good - The property want ready until late in the evening but was good once cleaned
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Large, pictures are as is , quiet road but good links N/a
- Munira (10/5): Great stay! - This property is well-located and gorgeous. Nil
- Julia (10/5): The best place I’ve stayed in years!! - Absolutely stunning!
Clean, gorgeous, authentic, super spacious! Amazing living room with original features.
Patio was a very nice touch. Kitchen had everything I needed.
Bed sheets were very soft and comfortable
Didn’t want to leave!
- Mara (10/5): Great location and spacious apartment near Earl’s Court and Gloucester Road - Great location. Nice living room. Modern and fairly new. Floors were a little dirty. Carpeted steps weren’t the safest for kids. Curtain fell down overnight but was too tall to fix.
- Christina (4/5): Bad communication and poor cleaning. Good location. - Location We sent a message to the host at arrival as the apartment was not cleaned properly, and also when we were leaving due to need for luggage storage. There was no response from host during out visit.
- Sanah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eliott (7/5): Nice apartment but very disappointing organisation - Nice apartment, very large and comfortable, well located - on the first day, housekeeping was very late, so we were not able to enter the place at check-in time, but almost 2 hours later
- we did not receive any instructions prior to check-in and had to text and call the staff but they didn’t respond. Finally the cleaner let us in and gave us the key …
- many items were not available : shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper
- there is a terrace but the window was locked and there was no way to open it, we texted the staff to ask but didn’t get any answer
- Sarita (10/5): A chilled weekend - Spacious and clean. Lovely area All was good
- عادل (9/5): Superb -
- Carole (9/5): Great place, would stay there again, but would like to sit on the balcony next time. - The Location was great, very close to the tube station, but set back enough from the main road that is was quite. It had every thing you need for a short stay away from home. We could not open the window to sit on the balcony, which we were very disappointed about. It would have been love to sit out having a morning coffee.
- Craig (9/5): Great stay, ideal location, big place and all we needed for a week in London -
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Location is great.
- Helen (9/5): Night in London - The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was a great location being 20 minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall. Great value for money. There was nothing not to like.
- Simon (6/5): Pleasant - Could have been cleaner was all, but great location for the price
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Excellent location - Excellent location, very central and easy to get around, close to coop if needed. Great communication regarding bag drop and check in etc. comfy, spacious and great for short stay.
- Louise (10/5): Great place and close to two tube stations - The location was perfect for our needs. The Piccadilly line unfortunately wasn't working the weekend we were staying so we walked from Harrods directly to the apartment. The next morning it was just a few minutes walk to Earls Court underground station. It was great being able to access the key via a lock box so that we could check in at our convenience. The apartment had everything we needed for the 1 night we were staying and we walked to Sainsbury's a few minutes away to pick up milk, orange juice etc for breakfast. The apartment was quiet and we all slept well. Really pleased we found this place; was perfect for our needs. The apartment was perfect for our one night stay and there was nothing we would change for that one night. There were plenty of towels and spare pillows available.
- Nicholas (4/5): Convenient location but poor standard of accommodation not reflected in the price. - Location convenient and pleasant The apartment was dirty, poorly equipped (simple sheet on bed with quilt cover but no quilt and bottle of half used body wash in bathroom), and poorly maintained. The value for money was poor and the photos provided on booking site not true to form .
- Sharon (8/5): Everything was great! - This is a great flat in a great location.
Very well equipped.
The host replied to any questions very promptly.
Thanks for a great stay!
- Lasse (7/5): Very good location to explore London, a nice flat which could use better maintenance. - A very good and central location near Earl's Court tube station to reach both Heathrow and the city center. The apartment was relatively quiet (although some low-frequency noise could be heard from the tube trains passing by under the building). Location-wise a very good choice to explore London. A large supermarket (Sainsbury's) nearby was very useful for us. The apartment is in an nice old building and has a good ambience thanks to the high ceilings; especially in the living room with the entrance to the balcony is very nice and gets plenty of natural light through the large windows. The kitchen is tiny, and is missing essential equipment like a coffee maker and a toaster. One of the two frying pans did not work with the induction stove (this is something that previous reviews have also pointed out but the host has not fixed the issue). It would have been nice to have some basic shampoo and soap in the bathroom. When we arrived, the flat was not well cleaned: there was significant amounts of dust in many places on the floor. The bathroom is in principle very nice (almost luxurious), but due to being not properly cleaned the overall impression was unfortunately not so nice. There are some small problems here and there which should be fixed, such as the handle for the balcony door which is quite loose. After kindly providing the necessary details like the code for the key safe and the wifi password, the host did not respond to our further enquiries.
For those travelling with children, it is good to know that the railing of the balcony is very low and therefore dangerous. There are also some steps inside the apartment (separating different levels of the floor) which could also be dangerous for small kids running around.
Our overall impression is that this is a very nice flat which is unfortunately not properly maintained. More attention to detail, including proper cleaning and making sure the flat includes all the necessary equipment and amenities would make this an excellent place instead of just OK as it is now.
- Connor (10/5): Would 100% return - It is well furnished, with huge space & a great shower.
- John (7/5): Nice apartment, great location, and clean. But needs more attention to detail, towels, and cookware - Great location, newly remodeled kitchen and bath. Strong WiFi. Towels and sheets were bunched up in bags, and could not tell if they were dirty or clean. Only 4 bath towels, and no hand towels or wash cloths. Most of the pots and pans won't work on the induction stove, as they are aluminum and it requires iron pans. Not enough glasses, And no extra blanket, it needs one.
- Stanislava (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (9/5): Amazing value. Looks better than on photos. - The location is amazing. The noise from upstairs was annoying , but it got quiet around 8 pm.
Not hosts' fault.
- Sandra (7/5): Good -
- Kirsty (9/5): Lovely stay in London - Lovely spacious apartment. Small kitchen but everything you needed. Good location. Nice having a balcony. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
- Emma (10/5): Fantastic stay, really lovely helpful owner and would highly recommend - Great location, lovely spacious apartment, very clean and comfortable. There’s was nothing we didn’t like
- Daniella (8/5): Wonderful location, was not cleaned properly - The location is hard to beat. The unit is located between two underground stations served by 2 lines and a number of buses stop around.
We had pleasant and helpful communication with Hollie, one of the management agents. She arranged for someone to address all of our concerns.
The apartment has been recently renovated, so there was no mold in the shower.
There is a guest Netflix account.
No noisy neighbors or unpleasant olfactory experiences in the house. We were allowed to drop off our luggage before the check-in time, which was very kind. The cleaning help was still in the unit, so we literally dropped our bags and headed out. Once back in the unit, we noticed immediately that our bags had been opened. Nothing was missing. We didn't complain but were left with unpleasant feeling.
The cleaning was not done properly.
No toiletries aside from an empty shower gel and probably previous guest's empty travel shampoo. Only 4 bath towels for 4 people for the duration of a full week. We always carry a travel pack of necessities, though I expect when it is included in the price to be there for us to choose whether to use it or not.
When we checked the wardrobes for additional towels we found only big bags of laundry. Some was clean, some not, but everything was stuffed, not folded.
No kitchen towels, no soap. We had to rummage the cupboards to find a hand and a dish washing liquid among the many empty bottles and wet smelly cleaning rugs.
We had to clean the sink in the kitchen and the toilet seat (urine stains could be seen on the photos). After we moved the big chair in the living room, we discovered some bonbons and dust bunnies - clear sign no one moved it to vacuum under it.
We contacted the management agent about the basics - dishwashing tabs, kitchen towel and extra hand/bath towels.
One kitchen pot was damaged, one pan was not suitable for use with an induction stove top. A bowl salad would've been nice to have.
On check-out we met the cleaning help. Luckily for the next guests, the management sent someone else.
We are positive the managing company didn't know of the condition. Perhaps an inspection from time to time won't hurt and would improve the rating. Once again, our concerns were addressed.
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Used to attend football match, 3 of us, plenty space, close to Earl’s Court station, nice area - Close to Earl’s Court, spacious, clean
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Will (6/5): Nice flat, but need a new cleaner - Lovely location, easy to access, good communication The fold out bed was broken when we arrived, which they were quick to sort out. We weren't convinced the bedding had been changed as there were stains on it, which they swiftly removed. It wasn't cleaned to the highest standards - a lot of thick black hair on the rug, rubbish left on the floor and someone's leftovers in the fridge.
- Sandeep (5/5): host bheaviour was not satisfactory. - location very small bed not even space for 2 person to sleep.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- לובין (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (10/5): I will always try to book this flat again when staying in London. - Very stylish and well kitted out with high quality furnishings. Everything had been thought of. Self check in was easy and the flat was easy to find from Earls Court tube, just a five minute walk. We only stayed a night but could have happily stayed longer.
- Derryck (8/5): Good spacious apartment. Nice decor. Great location - The location is great. The apartment is very spacious and nicely decorated. One of the bedrooms was very dusty and we had to change a stained sheet on the bed in that room.
There were no oven gloves or wine glasses. The television didn't appear to have an aerial input so no live TV channels available (just streaming services).
- John (10/5): Great will be back - Great location and property was great size No bedside lights or table on one side of the bed - had to get up to turn off light and put stuff on the floor
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): It was perfect, exactly what we were hoping for. - It was in a great location and was very clean and well equipped. The host was also very helpful and it was easy to use the secure locking system to get the apartment key. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quality apartment in a central location.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (9/5): Overall lovely stay - Location and modern Only recommendations - no hair dryer that we could see?
Few minor areas of cleaning had been missed (bottom of bathroom door and side of cabinet)
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Constance (9/5): The contact person Hollie was very helpful with the booking process and check in and very responsive - Central to 2 tubes, hop on, groceries, etc!
Large flat with all the basics. Nice upgrades! Some maps could be left for guests, and a few more basics like more than 1/2 roll of toilet paper to get started! Also, some ice trays!
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment in great location to get about London. Nothing!
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent, so close to Earl’s Court station and with plenty of food options nearby. Despite how central it is, it was pretty quiet at night time. The apartment is bright, spacious and beautifully renovated. It’s fully equipped and the facilities were all excellent, it was especially nice to have a washing machine. A great place to base yourself for a stay in London with everything you could need, including a big supermarket just 2 minutes away. The host were also lovely and helpful! There’s no air conditioning and there was only one fan for the whole apartment - when we stayed it happened to be during a heatwave, so we had to fight over who got the fan at night. The bed in the smaller room and most of the pillows were not super comfortable. The apartment was also a little dusty/could have been cleaner in some parts. There’s no elevator so you have to carry luggage up stairs, and you can definitely hear the neighbours during the day, but these kinds of things are to be expected for a central location!
- Wayne (8/5): Very good - Central location a huge bonus. Property well maintained and had all that was needed for a short stay N/A
- Jodie (8/5): Would recommend - Great location…well appointed…very clean…transportation very close with some great pubs within easy walking distance. Awesome property and great location…well appointed with everything you could need.
Unfortunately beds are extremely uncomfortable and renovations in the adjoining property made it impossible to sleep later than 8am..
- Fiona (5/5): Passable - The apartment block was being renovated so noisy late at night.
Beds uncomfortable. Pillows old and very flat.
Small bathroom for 3 people.
- Shang-ying (9/5): Superb - The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the location is great - close to Earl's court station, a large supermarket and many restaurants . The apartment itself is very lovely and comfy. Hollie was also very helpful. Overall my family enjoyed our stay very much.
- Sarah (9/5): Perfect flat, quiet location could have easily stayed much longer and will definitely stay again. - The location was perfect for getting to everywhere we needed to go in London. It was large airy great bathroom perfect little kitchen good size bedrooms and we enjoyed the little table and chairs on the balcony. Only one thing just a regular double bed would have been better the single with pull out and had a really hard mattress
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Fantastic stay! The location was perfect. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. -
- Édouard (8/5): Nice flat in a great location of London. - Very nice location, in a quiet street. Apartment was recently refurbished. There was a small balcony overlooking the street. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was tiny but well equipped, but a kitchen knife and veggie peeler would be good to have.
- Jane (4/5): central location. it’s a one double and one signal bedroom apartment. if you don’t mind being woken up by seriously bi - clean, modern, central, hand soaps were lovely, Hollie offered to drop off a corkscrew renovations were happening next door and we could not hear ourselves talk on two mornings- i reported this to Max and Hollie via text and via booking.com message facility and I’ve had no resolution to my complaint that they should not charge full and top price for this apartment. the noise was deafening. dust was coming in via the open window, we couldn’t sit outside.
the second bedroom had no bedside lamp, only one pillow, the duvet was too small for the bed plus this bedroom was too small as being advertised as a double. it was sooo small.
the kitchen didn’t have a corkscrew
the upstairs tenant was making quite a noise.
I asked for a partial refund and I’ve not had any reply.
- Thomas (10/5): Perfect flat with a great host. - A fantastic apartment in a perfect location.
- Jessica (10/5): Lovely place. Lots of space and so cozy. - The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the day bed that turns into a full was actually very comfortable as well.
The host kindly set out tea, coffee and sugar which is much appreciated from a long travel.
There is a washer and dryer too. Also a pulse when traveling for a while.
Great location in the sense close to museums, Earls Court stop is two blocks and about 20min to Kensington Palace.
It was also very quiet. And there is a grocery store one block away. Perfect if you want to stay for a few days or longer in London For people with young children it’s a great place to spread out and relax but it is a little far for them from most of the sites. I’d advise if you stay here with children to take Earls Court stop most of the time and skip the Hop on Hop off bus as a means to get around. The stop is a little far for the legs for that tourist bus. Just get an oyster card and use the tube. It would have made our time much easier.
- Karriesmiles (8/5): love the location and the apt has lots of light and love the high ceiling - location not enough towels and pillows .
all the linen are old and pillows are so old . not enough blanket . we were cold at night with no extra blankets and wish we had more then one old dingy pillow per person . the common area carpet is really old and dusty . needs. the common area of property is dirty and dusty
mattress is very uncomfortable I ended up sleeping on the sofa .
- Evita (7/5): A nice stay and an excellent location. - The location is excellent! Easy to get around and in a very nice area. Quiet at night.
The apartment could be excellent with some real attention to several areas, as mentioned. A lot of information is not provided by the host/listing. Used food items left in fridge and cupboards from previous guests, which I understand was an oversight and apology from host was received. A quick pre check could have sorted that out though.
Single bedroom (bed converts to double, I don't think this is clear enough in the listing) had no mirror or bedside light. The ceiling lights flicker (as per the lounge) when on a standard setting so not much use. The window slides open fully without stopping, but as I didn't want to leave it wide open while out, it had to be kept shut.
The double bedroom has two large wardrobes but no hangers!! We found this really bizarre. Clothes had to be hung on the backs of doors. The window here had to have an item placed in it to be kept open.
Kitchen - No wine glasses or bottle opener. I went out and bought some champagne flutes and left for future guests to use. This has been mentioned in a previous review, so not sure why it hasn't been rectified.
Lounge - there is no lamp so you have to use the wall lights, that wouldn't be an issue but they also flicker badly so they can only be turned to a very low setting. I think this could be a wiring issue.
It's a large lounge and would benefit from some floor lamps.
We couldn't for the life of us figure out how to operate the TV, and not for lack of trying! Some instructions would have been really useful.
Bathroom - the shower was blocked, so only able to have a quick shower due to the water building up.
We didn't use the balcony as the railings are dangerously low, and you have to climb out the window to get on to it.
Sadly, there seemed to be more attention to small things like books, plants and ornaments instead of the essentials that guests require.
- Louise (9/5): Wonderful stay, excellent communication from host. Would highly recommend. - Lovely spacious apartment, compact but beautiful well equipped kitchen. Could have one room with single beds.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Easy check-in, beautiful place and conveniently located next to public transport and sights - would recommend
- Kerry (10/5): Perfect stay in lively Kensington, highly recommend this property - The apartment was excellent, beautifully clean spacious, loved the terrace. Well decorated and coffee and tea provided. The location was perfect pubs, supermarket and restaurants within easy walking distance. We would have liked wine glasses and a chopping board. Also we couldn’t get free to air tv, so an instruction book on working the tv would be an asset. But apart from that no complaints!
- Maria (10/5): Amazing flat - Super clean, big windows, there’s everything we needed for our stay, the host was super helpful
we enjoyed a lot !! Everything was perfect 🤩
- Anonymous (10/5): lovely apartment - The apartment is located in a central area and is well connected.
Excellent cleaning of the rooms, and availability and friendliness on the part of the host
