• Diane (9/5): Beautiful apartment, well kept, and comfortable for 1-2 people. Would stay again! - The location was perfect. Florence is a very walkable city, so while we weren't in heart of the old city, we were usually 10-20 min away by foot from everything we needed. Honestly, it was really nice to be away from the crowds as the crush of tourism can be overwhelming! The apartment is also incredibly close to the train station, if you are coming in or out of the city (I think it was less then 10 minutes to walk, and the streets were relatively even for an old city). The hosts were easy to reach through the online portal (ex: we adjusted our travel dates, and paid for a late checkout). Their team was very responsive, and usually replied back in a few hours. They gave clear check-in instructions too. We were pleasantly surprised by how large the apartment was! Perfect for 2 people, or a couple with a baby/toddler (not sure if hosts would provide a crib, you would need to ask). The kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The washing machine was easy to use and the clothesline was right outside on the back patio, which was super convenient. The living room and bedroom were both spacious and comfortable. The bedroom had blinds and curtains to help guests sleep better. Checkout couldn’t have been easier. We left the keys in the lockbox and were on our way. A cleaner arrived as we were leaving and took care of everything. It was such a relief not to be asked to wash dishes, take out the trash, or start a load of laundry. The cleaning fees actually covered the cleaning, which was so refreshing for an apartment rental. The floors didn't creak, the apartment was very clean, it felt like the space has been very well kept over the years. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Florence, it was a perfect pied-à-terre! The lighting above the full length mirror could be better (it's in a pretty dark hallway). That or move the mirror elsewhere, like into the bedroom. We needed to buy more toilet paper, as not enough was provided. We weren't given any hand towels for the washroom and kitchen (only one bath towel and one face towel each, which felt a little stingy). The bathroom is very small (super narrow), which might be uncomfortable if you are more heavyset or have trouble navigating tight spaces. The blow dryer provided didn't fit any of the apartment outlets, which was an unfortunate surprise one morning (it had a European plug, but the prongs were somehow too big?). The staircase up to the apartment is a bit windy and narrow. We're a young and healthy couple, and managed it just fine. But if you are carrying a lot of luggage, have issues with tight spaces, or have trouble with balance, this may be a problem. It is an older building and there is no elevator. While we were not staying in a super busy area, you can still hear the city traffic below, especially if you're a light sleeper (Florence is very popular and this is unavoidable - just the joys of travelling to new places!).
• Raimondo (9/5): - Great location, in the city center, close to the main train station and all main attractions within a 15/20 min walk. The neighborhood has a lot of dining options. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very well arranged. Staff was super helpful. The staircase to the apartment is challenging with luggage!

• Petya (8/5): It was okay. - The location. It was clean. There was no laundry detergent for the washing machine and we stayed 5 nights. I expected that they would leave a couple of tablets. There were only 3 capsules for the dishwasher. And one of them was damaged. There were olive oil and instant coffee as compliment but no salt, if you decide to have salad.

• Shihab (8/5): - Good location and spacious, had everything we needed. The sofa bed was even made. Checking in was a bit annoying since you have to call someone to open the building door remotely and the stairs up to the room are very dark.
• Júlio (8/5): - Localização muito boa. Apartamento muito bem equipado. O grande problema são as escadas, com pessoas idosas e com baixa mobilidade, fica bem difícil o acesso. Mas gostei muito, voltaria me hospedar no local.

Recommended - Everything about the flat was absolutely lovely-the decor, the attention to detail, and the overall vibe made it feel more like a well-loved home than a typical rental. It truly has soul! The location was great- just a short walk from the main square and the Duomo, and even closer to the train station, which is convenient if you plan to explore around. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Sadly, we had to cut our stay short, but I definitely hope to return soon- both to Florence and to this little gem of a place!

• Dingsdale (8/5): Lovely apartment, would strongly recommend. - Good location Clean Spacious Good amenities Air conditioning worked well Balcony was nice Safe area Lively neighbourhood but windows did well to block out the noise. All plugs fitted in the apartment are small Italian plugs so our EU adaptors did not work. This lead to all our phones being dead for a day while we tried to find the correct one and had to spend our money on it (€15). It should be stated that this apartment does not support normal EU plugs. The kettle also did not work as it too has an EU plug. A little disappointing. The stairwell is also very steep (could maybe advise of this for those who may struggle) and it was not clear what floor the flat was on prior to arriving.
• Philip (8/5): Lovely apartment with a few issues - Lovely apartment in the heart of Florence where we would definitely return. Really comfortable bed and great air-conditioning and generally really clean. The whole apartment is very spacious. The check in was difficult for us as you had to ring to get the door opened. Unfortunately our phones didn't work for this so it would be better if the lockbox was on the outside of the building. The electric kept tripping in the morning requiring us to go down 2 floors to reset. It turns out is was the kettle which hopefully will be replaced. The apartment was spotlessly clean except the floors had not been cleaned. We swept and mopped them ourselves. The dishwasher broke down at one point but was quickly repaired.
• Andrew (9/5): Like a home away from home - Location excellent and was like a proper apartment with everything we needed. Lots of space and facilities. Nothing was needed. You just need to care with access no problem for us but watch the steep stairs.
