- Jamie (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE ROBBED - Nothing. Everything it was disgusting, customer service was horrendous. Shit smeared everywhere, burn marks everywhere. The owner was rude, screaming down the phone, demanded a deposit to be sent to bank yet wouldn’t give me the address, just a horrible person.
- Baru (8/5): Overall it was a good stay but could do with some attention to details;communication, key, towels. - When we arrived, the host informed that there was an issue with our initial booking. He was very proactive in sorting out the issue and gave us a new apartment. Property itself was clean. Location excellent as next to the train station. Some issues noted were delay in responding to enquiries but when we did make contact he was happy to help. There was no towels and bins in the bathroom. Also, required a code to access the property and there was no clear instructions and quite tricky to use.
- Vanya (2/5): Awful, dirty, stressful- best description for our stay! - It is in a new building and nice neighbourhood but that’s the only good. The check in was awful , we felt like we are in escape room solving a puzzle 😅. The owner of the property was missing so we should do everything by ourselves, he was managing us through the phone. He relocated us in the last minute and that brought us unexpected stress and worries.
We were searching almost 1 h the new location. It was in the same neighbourhood. The underground station for purple line Elizabeth is 3 min walking from the location. It was very dirty, broken table, no hangers in all the apartment, dirty sheets. The couch was very dirty, the floor too. In the bathroom there was open soap Dove, used and left back in the box from previous guests i guess. it is far from central London. We had only 1 towel per person, the smaller one for face was missing. The owner was treating us not well on the phone. The check in was with a code. The location was not easy to be found. And many other things which we already reported to Booking.

The dirty walls. The 24/7 leaking toilet - the beds were not comfortable - The kitchen did not have any decent pan or pot. Old, burnt,
Banged - revolting - the balconies and the furniture in the balconies were so dirty (they could not be cleaned with a wet towel or a scrub) the owner/property manager was rude and tried to get to a shouting match with us when we raised our concerns - unacceptable

Met to help locate the property and be handed keys.
Parking under building easy, and £10.40 for 24hours which is great value. Property struggled for cleanliness - marks up walls in kitchen and living room, stain on sofa.
No toilet roll or soap, dishwasher didn't run hot water, freezer broken and unable to shut or open drawers. Tv didn't work, had to swop extension cables with others in bedrooms to work out what the issue was (extension cable rather than tv).
Could have done with basic advice around where rubbish/recycling was to be located, how to work tv etc.

- Jamie (1/5): Booked 2 months in advance + paid to arrive & no room available. - Unfortunately we weren’t able to actually stay at this apartment that we booked 2 months in advance and paid for. Our 3 and a half hour trip ended in misery as our room wasn’t even available. Apparently the apartment can’t be booked for 1 day yet it was on booking.com, booked months in advance and paid for. Very disappointed that this happened to us. After around 20 calls to the owner to try and find out how we gain access to the apartment we were given the bad news. He was helpful and authorised a refund. We had to find another place and book that. So we didn’t make it into the apartment but I hope they learn from there mistakes and nobody else is put in the situation we were this weekend just gone.

- Olofin (9/5): Enjoyed our stay, only cleaners were absent. - I liked the location, the building was well serviced and the view from the building was very good. We were left with only one extra bedsheet / blanket, there were no cleaners for our rooms during the 12 days that we stayed there. Cleaned and took the trash out ourselves.

A spacious apartment with good views. Only one key was provided for a group of six which meant going out and returning individually was impossible. Owner/manager refused to give us another set of keys.
Only three towels were provided and we had to request more towels, as well as toilet paper and bed linen.
There are no wine glasses, tea towels, hand towels or bathroom bins and only one teaspoon and four coat hangers for an apartment which sleeps six.
The hairdryer is dangerous and should be replaced.
There is a balcony but no table and chairs on it.
The owner needs to regularly inspect his property to ensure it is properly maintained, cleaned and repairs carried out.

Comfortable beds, large bathrooms with consistent warm water.
Fast Wifi.
Secured underground parking was a plus (its approximately 11 pounds a day).
Clean lobby and elevator. Loads of shops at the doorstop. Check-in and Communication:

Zero communication response from the property to our messages, till we arrive (in stormy weather). Even Booking.com had to contact them!!!
Once we got in touch, the person clearly seemed unhappy (and rude) when you asked for clear instructions.
I had to walk last minute (in rain) to get the keys according to the instructions by the person. He was adamant that I start a video call and he can then guide me to the place. Very poor customer service experience!
- Apartment is missing some vital things such as a bathroom floor mat outside the shower, no kitchen napkin, etc.
- Walls, carpets are stained in several places, kitchen wall has cleaning chemical stains and (a very visible) dead mosquito stuck flat on it, etc!
- Window sealing is poor. You can hear and feel wind rushing in, in spite of windows being locked.

Underground station right next to the building.
Lidl and other shops not very far away. We booked an apartment in the "Compton House" and got one in the "Cadet House" which looked nothing live the photos.
White stains on the couch, on the courtains and other mysterious stains on the walls and the ceiling!
The dishwasher was filled with used dishes and moldy.
The beds were really unfomfortable and one of them was broken.
A lot of random letters in the laundry room with namens of different people.

- Imogen (1/5): Disgusting. Awaiting refund. - Nothing On the run up to the trip, the host had not been very forthcoming in replying to any questions about our reservation. After confirming we could check in from 11am, i spoke to the host on the phone who stated we categorically could not get in till 2pm. We bided our time and arrived at 2:20pm and had to wait outside in the cold for the owner to drop off the keys, to be told on her arrival (30 minutes later) that there was damage to the property and we where being moved to a different location. This was much smaller and had one bathroom, as opposed to the 2 promised. The apartment was damaged and FREEZING and there was no clear instruction on how to control the thermostat. After ringing the host 15 times between the 3 of us, with numerous voicemails and still no reply, we eventually had to knock on neighbour’s doors. One helpful neighbour put us in contact with the concierge, who gave us the heating company’s contact number, who informed us that the host had not paid their bills and the gas/heating had been cut off for the building. We finally received a call back from the host, who instructed us that someone was on their way to collect the keys, as the residence was inhospitable. I then received a “No Caller ID” phone call from the host on the phone who yelled and threatened me for speaking to the concierge. We were instructed to leave immediately for a promised full refund and to leave the keys on the table - which we happily obliged. The following morning, i received a call from the owner again on “No Caller ID”, who seemed to be unaware that we had been moved to a different location and believed us till to be in residence, which we where not.
This trip was completely unacceptable and we have been left in debt after having to arrange other accommodation on a very busy sporting weekend in London.

It is in a lovely location and secure building. Plenty of food options around and grocery stores. 2min walk from the underground train station and 5min walk from the overground train station. THE PERSON MANAGING THIS PROPERTY WILL STEAL YOUR SAFETY DEPOSIT!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOKING THIS PROPERTY!!!
The apartment was not in good condition it had a lot of small maintenance flaws like locks on doors missing or broken. There are a lot of stains on the white walls and some areas that are damaged. It was also not clean.

- Ivo (6/5): Spacious apartment with a view, close to everything. - First of all, the location was not the one on the photos on Booking.com. This apartment was in a similar building, even closer to city center. Very close to London City Airport (5 min with DLR), 3 minutes walk from Uber boat to central London, 1 minute from subway station. Close to several super markets, restaurants and bars. It has a (partly public) parking garage in the basement that has more than enough space to park your car (11 pounds/day). Very nice view from each of the balconies. Very spacious apartment. I was a little earlier than I told the host but after a phone call, he arrived at the time I initially told him. There was fast internet. Cleaning was inadequate. The windows in the bedrooms were fairly clean, however, from the living room if was very difficult to see outside. I decided to clean them myself as far as possible. Kitchen supplies were very limited (no wine glasses nor cutting board). Most of the window blinds were inoperative. I hereby would strongly advise the host to have those fixed and to buy some additional kitchenware.

The handling of keys was pretty nonstandard to my experience. Although we have indicated we eill be six people, there were only two sets of towels. The remaining were not delivered despite asking. - Solome (10/5): Home away from home - The whole entire place felt like home, it was super clean, great location and we could go about anything we needed just in a short distance. will definitely come back any time am in London as the place looks exactly like the advert. And also it was a last minute booking, the host made sure I come to a very well clean place, am a very picky person but this apartment meet our expectations and beyond. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back again.
The Elizabeth line is just below the apartment and 4 minutes walk to the DLR, very close the London city Airport, shopping centres are very close, supermarkets just below the apartment and all types of foods just across I mean what more could a person ask for? Nothing. Didn’t find anything wrong.

- Babiselli (8/5): We will come again. - Unfrotunately we where very late due to tube problems (close to 2 hours). The owner waited for us and the check in went really good. The appartment was very nice, newly constructed, with enouge space for a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children aged from 4 to 12). It was really warm (independed heating) and had warm water 24/7.
It is really close (less than 10min walk) to the tube station Woolwich of Elisabeth line, a really new and fast tube line. It is close to Super Market, fast foods and all the necesary stuff for your stay.
Lastly, it has a realy nice view of the area and a little of Thames! Now for the negative stuff. Nothing caused problem to our stay, but some things can be improoved with little effort in order to improve services supplied.
The most serious one, is that the sofa-bed needs repair. Our 2 boys (12 and 10) slept over there with no problem, but I don't believe that an older person can sleep on it.
Secondly, the appartment should be cleaned better. I am not saying it was dirty, but I think that the cleaning staff must try a little more.
One more thing that is easy to fix, it is the fact that the appartment had 1 big towel for each one of us. No small towels for the face, nor towel for the bathroom floor. Also there were no expendables in the appartment (like soap, toilet paper, shampoo etc). I don't know if this is normal, but here at Greece is something that it is included when an appartment is rented.
I must say though, that we didn't ask for something and the owner refused. We were really ok with the appartment and we consider the above remarks of minor importance.

I did enjoyed my stay The owner asked me for a deposit of 200 pounds, It took him 2 months to give it back, dont know if it was his fault or banks fault but I honestly think it was him.
