Guest Reviews
- Ana (8/5): Great value for money (basic, but clean and good location) - Considering the price point - great value for money. good location (for North London). but keep your expectations realistic - it is a budget hotel (no tooth brushes, kettle, etc), but it was practical and clean. The room was very hot and there was no ventilation sadly, which is not ideal for summer. As it was on the ground floor, you also couldn't really open the windows. This was my biggest issue. Other than that it was great value for money.
- Maroš (9/5): - Quiet and cozy accommodation, a few minutes walk from the metro station. Kind of difficult to set heating up, but staff helped me with it
- barbara (8/5): -
- Cathrinevinje (10/5): - Loved everything Could use a small bedside lamp, but I did manage without
- Stephanie Omenai (9/5): -
- Giovanni Luca (10/5): - Ottima stanza! Tutto perfetto!

- Matthew (6/5): - Very clean.
Great location. Way too hot despite having the fan on.
No kettle.
No tea/coffee.
Only 1 bedside.
Rather expensive for 1 night for 2 people.

- Milena (6/5): Not expensive and probably ok for the price, but I wouldn’t stay again in - The location was convenient, easy to get to the underground My room was near the main entrance door, the noise of everyone going in and out, was continuously disrupting my sleep.
The bedding’s gave me a rash, most likely from the washing process.
I found some dry dirt on my sheet… that I cleaned off with sanitizer.
I didn’t see any staff at all. Guests were obviously smoking as the smell of smoke in the stairway and kitchen was overwhelming. The entrance keypad was a little fussy, maybe low battery, so I had to buzz and the door was unlocked remotely.
- paislie (10/5): - I had a lovely 2-night stay at Anson Hotel. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short visit. The neighborhood felt very safe and welcoming, with shops, cafés, and transport links all nearby — perfect for exploring the city. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication easy. Overall, a great stay and I’d happily book again next time I’m in London! Nothing
- Abigail (2/5): Okay stay, book if you’re feeling cheap :) - Location - on a lovely street
Great to have access to fridge and washing machine Please not that this is not a hotel - no reception or staff available at hand so you cannot leave luggage in storage
Unfortunately both times staying here, I was severely bitten by mosquitoes . So if you’re prone to bites then I would suggest not staying here
The window doesn’t completely close so I’m assuming there sneaking in that way whilst asleep
Mould in bedroom and shower room
Tv does not work
- Magdalena (6/5): - The room was clean. The location is good. Other guests were not noisy so it was OK. The room and bathroom are on the tired side. A lamp in the room and loo paper holder in the bathroom would have been nice.
- Margerita (8/5): - Very central and clean.
Ideal for a quick sleep only stay.
- Lucas (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): Ideal in everyway. - Communication great. Check in easy using key codes for all the doors, conveniently located for what we needed.
- Clare (7/5): - The room was very clean and location was perfect. No coffee making facilities in the room, we needed to go to the kitchen to get any drinks. There was no proper cups it was takeaway cups only
- Luke (7/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Irene (8/5): -
- TSEE (10/5): Refreshing ! - I like the location, the seamless check in and out, the rooms were very clean and comfortable beds in a serene environment I quality liked everything but would recommend they provide basics such as toothpaste.
- Valentina (8/5): Nice place to stay for quick stops. - Good location near the station and bus stops. Also small markets are close. Easy to get inside without any cards or keys. Quite and beautiful area with architecture.
Also the answers is quick if you have any issues. Thanks to workers who helped us =)
Tea&coffee, fridge , microwave is in kitchen. There is no kitchen stove, only oven. Would be nice to add some small lights near the bed and another bed table cause there is only one.
The hanging hook for small towels in bathroom is really needed.
Also we didn’t find small trash bags for bathroom and wc brush :(
Our room was near the main entrance so we heard everyone who is coming. But if you are deep sleeper it won’t hesitate you :D
- Uri (10/5): Would recommend this for friends coming to visit me nearby. - Lovely location, quiet and great hosts. Nothing.
- Aishat (8/5): Very good -
- Colette (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, quiet close to transport links N/a
- Lynn (8/5): Very good - The location is in a lovely quiet area. Great position to the Emirates stadium with a 20 minute walk. The hotel has thought of everything. The rooms are lovely and clean, comfortable and warm and the kitchen is a bonus. The beds are very comfortable with lovely linen. A very enjoyable stay.
- Kamran (9/5): Superb -
- Joe (3/5): Basic, nice location but needs work. - Quiet neighbourhood, but Saturday morning had a refuse collection which sounded like a skip full of cutlery being dragged behind a road roller. Laminate flooring water damaged and warped, extractor fan in bathroom not working, bed uncomfortable, no terrestrial channels on tv, tea and coffee making housed on different floor and woken at 6.30 am on Sunday by false fire alarm.
- Brian (9/5): Good value - Clean and tidy. Good shower Fire doors kept open to the kitchen by door stops
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Beatrix (6/5): Pleasant hotel in a good location - It was convenient given that we were visiting the area and was a short 10 minute walk away from the Kentish Town station which was helpful. It was very warm in the room and when we attempted to turn the temperature down it seemed to remain at the consistent room temperature of about 25 degrees. Didn’t come across any members of staff and felt very left to our own devices.
- Aileen (8/5): Very good -
- Marina (9/5): Nice experience - La ubicación The issues that we had to entering in our room, also you hear every step and movement of your neighbors
- Charles (9/5): Comfortable stay in a lovely area, close to a tube station. - Situated in a lovely, quiet residential area of north London. No issues with accessing property and room with the key codes. Having a communal kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, plates etc was of great use. Clean. Good, powerful shower. Maybe a bit more decor in the bedroom as a little bare. But not too big a deal.
- Angela (7/5): Did the job. - The property was clean. There is an equipped shared kitchen. Great location. Staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, particularly the bathroom. Ok if you are staying for a few nights.
- Nour (8/5): Enjoyable - Super clean room, very safe and comfortable. We were at the ground floor directly next to the entrance door. We kept waking up whenever someone put the security pin to enter the hotel as it's a loud noise.
- Claude (8/5): Very good -
- Clare (8/5): Good clean accommodation. No frills - Clean -does what it says on the tin -no frills -good location - easy checking- quiet - street parking overnight No coffee /tea making facilities or glasses
- Dlj06 (10/5): Lovely accommodation offering suprem comfort - Everything other than the size of the bathroom. The accommodation was very class a d comfortable. Plenty of storage. And great location. Shower to small and bathroom was very small.
- Bettina (8/5): Bright and comfortable room in great location - Clean and comfortable room. Bed size nice for one person. Shower room compact but clean and sufficient.
Love that there is a washing machine in the kitchen and iron board and iron.
Location absolutely stunning. A table light in the bedroom would definitely be beneficial. One can only use either the ceiling light or the bathroom light if in bed and want to read.
Surprised to find only one paper cup in any of the communal kitchens and absolut no ceramic cups or mugs, nor proper cutlery (two pairs of wooden knives and forks only).
One hook on the inner side of the bathroom door would be great so that one can leave a towel there while showering as the room is tiny and there is no real place to leave it anywhere else.
- Samuel (8/5): Very good -
- Jay (8/5): Very good - It was very convenient for where we were going that evening
- Zhenjun (5/5): Passable - location. ground floor room given although I asked to have an upper floor room price
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Allan (8/5): Very clean and comfortable room. Quiet residential location - Will stay again. -
- Francois (6/5): Pleasant - Easy check in Loud. Light. Not the cleanest
- Hardeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (9/5): Great stay for a reasonable price. - Location from the tube was perfect, not too far from O2 Kentish Town. The surrounding area was clean and the hotel was spotlessly clean, too. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Camden or Kentish Town. Blinds not blackout and unfortunately our room was next to front door so some minor noise but very minimal. Eye mask needed. Sadly no coffee making facilities either but decent coffee shops within a couple of minute walk.
- Kirsty (7/5): I’d probably stay here again if it was a little cheaper - I liked that it had all the basics you could need. It’s in a nice neighbourhood and it’s only 10 mins to the tube. It was clean and ready to go when we arrived. There is no staff as it is just an automated system to get in and out. It’s nothing fancy by any means. Where our room was located was right by the front door so we heard everyone come in and out. The pillows felt cheap.
- Kwan (10/5): Not a bad place to stay for a weekend - The room and bathroom are clean. It is spacious enough for two of us. The location is not very far away from the city centre. It is a pleasant quiet area. We have been allocated to the room right next to the main entrance so it is convenient to go out and we feel safe in this quiet area when hearing people opening main door and passing through.
- Charles (8/5): Quiet stay with good kitchen facilities. Loved the neighborhood and the Underground station. - Confusion about codes. Information about entry process was sent to me while I was in transit and out of contact. Wish so had been briefed earlier
- Sacha (9/5): Superb -
- Maryam (10/5): Exceptional - Quite and safe Nothing
- Ioana (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (4/5): No ILL feeling just honesty - Quiet area near subway Room looked bigger online. I wouldn’t recommend this place or any place that has key codes to lock boxes an no staff on site. We had an issue with accessing the building after we had already checked in. We had a door camera call from a lady based in South Africa for our troubles. 110 euro to check in at 3pm and out at 11am not as much as a bottle of water on arrival.
- R (8/5): Very good -
- Vl (8/5): Would definitely stay again. - Great location big room and we’ll equipped kitchen. Nothing.
- Luke (7/5): Good for a place to sleep - Great for price and location Communication was poor we were locked outside our room as we were not informed of the code until I rang them on the ergency number. Luckily my phone didn’t die
- Ed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (9/5): Superb - Nice area
- Evangelia (8/5): Very good -
- Evrim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monika (7/5): Good -
- Misbha (3/5): Don’t bother. - Its a 10 minute walk off the Main Street. Road isn’t very lit, don’t feel safe.
Room was the very first one from the entrance, and it was noisy. You could hear everyone coming in and out. The entire day and night! Horrible. I woke up 3 times during the night when people were trying to type in the code and enter the building.
Blinds don’t work. They are all permanent down.
Water is too hot no matter what you do. Noisy, not a safe entrance. The room was on ground floor and right next to the main door.
- Jermen (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (9/5): Superb - Good location in a quiet leafy street, 10 minute walk from the tube stop.
Clean facilities with a great kitchen Utensils in the kitchen could do with a refresh. Knifes are blunt.
Blinds in room 5 didn’t go up
- Kelly (5/5): Passable - Location was good, easy check in and liked having access to Netflix A lot smaller than appears on website. Bit of a night mare for two people with suitcases
- Jean (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nathan (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (6/5): okay - Great location, very safe neighborhood, easy access. No screens on the windows. Seemed a little too warm, but no AC. Very difficult communicating with hosts. There is no staff at the hotel. I had written with questions many times throughout the week before we arrived and didn’t get any answers until the day before arrival. It made me very anxious.
- Fraser (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (10/5): Great stay!!! -
- Iqra (7/5): Good - Very clean, good facilities Blinds were broken and windows wouldn’t open which was terrible in this hot weather made it very hard to sleep
- Emily (9/5): Superb -
- Madi (5/5): Passable - was a good location and nice room wasn’t clean however charge a £15 cleaning fee
only managed to get photo of the bed linen however there was also some type of fluid (looked like sick) on the remote
- Brian (7/5): Good - Very clean, great location and good price Very noisy, walls are very thin especially in the room near the front door. It was hard to sleep.
- Dennis (9/5): Room in in Islington - It is on a quiet street.
Conveniently situated.
Comfortable bed The blinds were flimsy and prone to breaking.
- Sthefanny (8/5): Very good -
- Ide (6/5): Pleasant -
