- Raghavendra Vijayakumar (7/5): -
- Suthida (4/5): Kändes obekvämt för att det fanns en kamera inne i rummet - Toaletten Kameran som låg inne i rummet
- Pratik (1/5): Bad - Nothing 😮💨 The landlord is too much harrestment
- Jorge (8/5): Very good - The property location was excellent.. specially if you go to London Excel.
This insuite is refurbished and clean
- Christoffersen (5/5): Felt more watched than welcomed, with an unsettling lack of transparency. - The apartment was very clean, especially the bathroom and beds, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect for Excel London visits. With better guest interaction, it could be a great place to stay. This is not a 'LUX' apartment; it's simply newly built, which might explain the owner's high expectations. This experience could have been much better if the owner had met us in person, instead of placing a camera at the door and then removing it two days later while we were out (very unsettling!). I'm still unsure if they enter the apartment when guests aren’t around. The hosts seem quite secretive. The gentleman never voluntarily gave his name, even on the phone. When I asked, he paused and hesitated. Yet, they require passports to be sent to a Gmail account, and they use an IP phone service to hide their identity. It all feels overly suspicious. From the moment you book, you're treated like a potential offender, with emails full of strict penalty warnings. It feels like the host is a new property owner struggling to let go of control.
The apartment itself is filled with loose nylon carpets, which makes it easy to trip, especially in the dark. The doors are difficult to open because the carpets bunch up underneath. Shoes are not allowed inside, which is fine, but while they claim to provide slippers, none were available. There's a safe, but it’s locked and unusable. Utensils were lacking – only four forks, despite other guests having mentioned this in reviews. We even had to eat yogurt with forks!
Then there’s the unnerving 'alarmed door.' It leads to what I assume is another part of the apartment, but there's no lock from the guest side. The owner warns that if you even attempt to open it, the alarm will go off, and you'll be kicked out immediately. It feels like they assume guests are criminals, while they remain mysterious. My main concern was someone entering the apartment while we were out, not the other way around. We left the place clean and tidy because we respect rental properties and know how to maintain them. We manage our own rentals and always meet our guests in person. There’s definitely room for improvement here, and I hope the owner makes the necessary changes.
- Andrew (7/5): Comfortable, convenient, good value. Description a little exaggerated. - The room was clean, newly furnished and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. Very good value for money. The description (currently 'lux new studio apartment') could be improved. This is is actually an en-suite room at the back of another apartment with independent access via a patio door and with a kettle, fridge and microwave, some crockery and four forks(!). There was no lock on the inter-connecting door which some might find concerning. The floor coverings (I think to protect the carpet?) were loose and could become a trip hazard. The furnishings were simple but perfectly adequate.
- Milad (2/5): Review - Was clean Rude landlord/customer service
