• Mitzi (8/5): Good location - Good location. Less than 5 mins walk to the beach, approx 10 min walk to shopping, restaurants and entertainment areas. On site parking for one car. When I contacted the property owners, as there was an issue with the WiFi, response was quick and issue resolved easily. The accommodation was dated and in desperate need of some TLC. Ensuite shower room had mouldy ceiling with a peeling plaster, door frames had rust bubbling through paintwork. Towel rail not fixed well and old style sliding door was difficult to close. Second bedroom also had mould around ac unit. Fridge door was chipped and rusty. Dining room chair cushions were stained and very worn. Balcony door didn't shut and was gaping open so therefore could not be locked. Electric socket in bedroom one did not work.

Room was cleaned but can see cockroches, spiders and other bugs... need pest control... was very disappointed.. also the door lock was too annoying.. I didn't see any staff or any managers through our my 3 days stay...spa was cold.. and not heating up .

• Danniel (1/5): Absolutely crap - Nothing at all didn’t even stay the whole 3 night we found other accommodation as the host are so bad at answering had no washing machine aircon remotes didn’t work in second bedroom 2 rolls of toilet paper meant to be there for 3 nights with 2 bathrooms only one PowerPoint in the master bedroom which worked 3 towels for 3 people for 3 days asked for extra towels and and toilet paper didn’t even get that with no washing machine will never book here again and was really dirty

Comfortable beds and nice pillows Air con leaked water all over one of the bed, remote for fan in one of the rooms could not find. while looking at booking this site it would be better to make it a bit more clear that no lifts as i was on crutches and struggled. And a bit of up keep on the room would be beneficial for the owner!

• Jennifer (8/5): We had a fantastic holiday, will come back again ☺️ - Lovely atmosphere, loved the pool area with the palm trees and the bbq area. Great location to town and beach. It is an older building, could use a bit of touch ups, but we didn’t mind.

• LILAH (3/5): don’t stay here unless you are a broke stoner - good location, reception staff was nice & communication was good Our group of 8 stayed here whilst attending a festival in the gold coast. Whilst the apartment itself didn’t have any glaring issues (everything was dated, most clean for the most part), it was violently under stocked for the amount of people they advertised could stay. Firstly, the two sofa beds advertised were barely functioning, difficult to assemble, and came with NO sheets or bedding and only 2 pillows, which is ridiculous considering 4 people are meant to sleep in this area. Further, in the main bedrooms, there was only 1 sheet, and 1 thin blanket not large enough to cover the whole bed (which we had to give to our friends sleeping on the sofa beds), leaving only 1 thin sheet on either bed which is entirely inadequate. There also were not enough towels for each guest (only 4 provided, even though they knew we had a group of 8). Further, the booking requires that the fridge is emptied, dishes all washed, and bins emptied upon leaving, however the dishwasher does not work, no cleaning materials were provided other than a bottle of dish soap, and no spare bin bags were given, meaning that once the very small bin was full, it was very difficult to remove rubbish down to the bins outside the complex. Also, the amount of toilet paper provided was ridiculous. We only stayed for two nights and spent almost all of both days out of the apartment, and still ran out of toilet paper on our second evening. The neighbours were also terrible. Unsure if this is constant or just for this weekend, but both upstairs and downstairs neighbours played loud music until 4am. Also the apartment directly below us reeked of weed and so did the surrounding corridors. We also saw a coachroach run across the kitchen on our first night, which is always comforting.

• Caroline (2/5): Not worth it. - Unit is old and in need of updating. No aircon in main living area just one fan. Internet doesn’t work. Fridge is missing shelves and is broken. Sliding door onto balcony does not slide. They said in previous reviews they’d look at it all and fix it but they haven’t so don’t believe their responses on here. We contacted multiple times and had rude responses from all maintenance at property and owners of unit. No response regarding the internet not working even after us trouble shooting. Mould through both bathrooms, no exhaust fans so no ventilation even with window open. Couches very uncomfortable and didn’t work for two kids to sleep on. (Let alone adults). Dryer didn’t work and requested towels every second day and were only brought one lot during our 7 day stay. Only one clothes horse supplied and it was broken. They brought up another one after us trying to explain that we have kids and with 6 of us in there we needed it. Dining chairs missing screws. All cupboard doors about to fall off and broken. We were told to ignore the issues in unit and just to enjoy our holiday instead. Little bit hard when you’ve paid thousands and are met with a run down apartment . The whole complex reeks of cigarettes and marijuana - owners can’t help this but just something to be aware of.

Needs asap upgrades to pool area very dangerous and slippery on tiles inside indoor pool nearly feel Room was horrifying so terrible wasn’t even cleaned prior to check in when I contacted owner they blamed cleaner I paid nearly $200 a night and when I ask for part refund ignored . There was cockroaches on floor ,bedding not clean , dust bits hair on floor and table . Smelt old and musty blankets and pillow old and very unhygienic / not even washed .bathroom rusty and old needs repairs Had to leave due to how uncomfortable and unclean when I asked for part refund due to horrible condition have been ignored and they blamed on cleaner they hired

It was not worth th - The location .. nice distance from cavil avenue and tram was very convenient at times It was the most unhygienic apartment I’ve ever seen in my life ! So dirty , dusty and mouldy!! I traveled 12 hours and spent the first evening cleaning till midnight even later ! Cockroaches throughout the week .. I have two small kids and I was absolutely devastated.

• Chris (6/5): This property could be lifted to the next level with a little TLC. - Great location for Surfers Paradise CBD. Secure Parking bay available. Good communication from owners. Sauna in the facility was a nice relaxing touch ( spoiled by unheated spa and indoor pool) very tired and cheap furniture and apartment appliances, sliding door very difficult to close, slap-dash decoration, wonky towel rails, wardrobe doors hard to close, small drain in master bed shower gives poor drainage. If you don’t like noise this isn’t the place for you being in the centre of Surfers. Spa and indoor pool of complex were intolerably cold with no heating.

Very easy to follow self checkin with lock box at main entry . we were greeted by Sam who showed us around very nice guy . • Fafička (8/5): A fabulous stay that met our expectations - Hosts communicated clear instructions , the place was older and in need of renovation ,but we were greeted to a very clean apartment and beautiful crisp linen and place smelt lovely . The apartment accommodated us all and had a carpark it was exactly what we expected thank you The verandah doors were hard to open

The aircon in one of the rooms was very noisy & not working efficiently. Did request an extra car park. Understood there was none spare however the super intendant was unhelpful in sourcing a secure long term park. Ended up paying an extra $100 in a secure carpark off site we sourced after googling & several phone calls.

• Ayush (6/5): Good location - The location is the best—it is close to Skypoint and food. It is also close to the beach and a lovely shopping centre. The apartment was so bad. The bathrooms were not cleaned, the bed sheets had stains, all the rooms were dusty, and there was an awful hair and clothes dryer. There was not enough kitchenware, cleaning products and there was a hideous kettle. I messaged them, and they sent a cleaner and supplied a new kettle and toilet paper.
• Melissa (4/5): Disappointing - The location was fantastic The advert said 1 dbl bed, 2 singles and 3 sleeper couches. There were only 2 double beds, and 2 sleeper couches, and 1 sleeper couch was broken. It was challenging to fit in the 7 people that we had booked for. Our multiple requests for extra beds or mattresses was ignored, resulting in us having to go out and get our own inflatable mattresses. There was also not enough bedding, only 2 toilet rolls for our group, and only 2 teaspoons in the kitchen. The apartment was worn, and uninviting. As a result, we spent most of our time outside in the bbq area, next to the pool.
• Erin (1/5): Bad - Love the location of the place The staff worker was not pleasant to deal with, after telling him there were a few things wrong with the place, he came into the apartment looking around trying to make out our complaints for the apartment were overreactions, aggressively slamming doors. And so much more that we didn't like about this place.

• Summer (8/5): lovely location, very clean and lovely bedrooms. just don’t advice a large group needing the fold out sofa beds :) - gorgeous views outside, nice sounds of the mini waterfall and perfect location to stroll into town and the beach fold out beds which were counted in the numbers were really hard and uncomfortable. also not ideal for anyone over 5ft 8

• Kaitlyn (3/5): ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ - The apartment location was good and close to a tram stop and convince stores. Apartment was spacious. The apartment itself... where to start? As soon as we walked through the front door, our noses were assaulted by what I could only describe as a mix of wet dogs and mouldy rags? The door to the balcony, my partner and I struggled to open to air out the smell! It took both of us yanking the doors apart to get them to open. We discovered where the smell was coming from, the laundry! The mop buckets that were left in there were wet and dirty! On top of the laundry being stinky, we couldn't even get the door to shut properly. We went and bought a can of air freshener just to deal with the smell. The cabinet door on the laundry sink was also broken. We booked for 6 people, and the apartment apparently sleeps 8. The 2 fold out couches provided originally looked okay before we attempted to fold them out for our other guests. One of the two was broken and would not fold out. I had to find extra sheets myself, the only extra pillow provided didn't have a pillow case on it, there was no extra blankets, assuming that we had booked for 8 people, there would be no other pillows or blankets for them.(which I had requested when I booked) The beds in the bedrooms weren't much better with no doona's on either bed, only sheets provided on them. Some of the furniture in the main living room was half built or had been broken by previous tenants and not replaced / fixed. All of the ceiling fans/light fittings did not have covers on them, and the floor lamp next to the TV was missing one of its bulbs. There was barely any sugar in the provided jar (unsanitary, would usually have single serve sugar in a hotel). The fridge was old and dirty, and the oven had been used previously and not cleaned. So had the dishwasher. The glass on the cooktop was cracked and broken. (I know this can be replaced) The floors hadn't been swept as we found hair and crumbs all over the living room floor.

We had no hot water, and whilst they were nice about sending someone to fix it by the time that happened we basically had to have cold showers the whole stay. Expensive for a cold shower apartment

Would of been great if more information was available in relation to use of equipment within unit. Also at time of booking unit shown wasn't the one supplied not that changed the experience to much. Spa heated but didn't work as a spa should do.

• Melissa (2/5): Wouldn’t return to be honest, I have fibromyalgia and sleeping on the sofa lounge was brutal for 2 nights - The location was great. The bed was broken and we had to sleep on sofa lounge, the first morning we woke up the kids room had water all over it from the aircon not draining. The owner came told us the bed would fine and he would get someone during the week to check the aircon. Main shower has half screen and water goes all over the floor.

• Sherry (2/5): We were happy we only booked 2 nights at the end of our trip in QLD. Would not have stayed longer - Loved the location. Accessible to everything you need. Kitchen needs a complete deep clean. Fridge has parts broken inside. 4 towels provided for 5 people. Cigarette ash on balcony (We are all non smokers). One fob to share between all. Made it so difficult to organise entry while doing different outings within our group. Bedding felt and smelt dirty. Bathrooms need a deep clean. No fan in bathrooms everything steamed up. Second bed room bed was all swelled up must of been wet at some stage. Main toilet didn’t flush took 4 times to flush. Spa didn’t work. Back apartments looked into bedroom and bathroom so had to have blinds shut at all times.

Toilet door lock broken, sofa bed broken, no ventilation in toilets and laundry. The owner did not take any action when told about the sofa bed. Did not had enough beds to sleeps. Not worth the money spent. The listing says all cleaning products and toileteries are included but not in reality.

• Braxton (10/5): We were blown away by the whole experience of our stay at Coco Bella Dream apartment! Authentic way to experience Gold C - Amazing location! Easy check in and out. Property was clean and very spacious, the beds were so comfy. It had everything we needed we were very impressed. Facilities were lovely also so well maintained. Parking was good underground + street parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a big family with 2 young children! Highly recommend. Just a suggestion not a complaint, but could do with a security lock as children could easily open main door. 😊
