• martyos121 (1/5): Dangerous place to stay - Good location. When we arrived, we turned on the light switch only to be zapped by the button. The wiring was faulty and was causing it to short circuit and could have electrocuted us. How this wasn't noticed before our arrival is beyond me. The bathroom tap also wasn't working, the host informed us of this prior to our arrival and said he'd have it fixed by the time we got there but no, still broken.

Check in/key collection could be difficult when its busy and onstreet parking is at a premium, if you are on your own you need to park in one location, walk around to key drop box, and then drive back around to park. So perhaps clearer instructions

Hard to see numbers on lock so small. Finally got in and went for hotdog near the alleyway. I think instruction may have been a tad over long, but we made it and were grateful thanks

Will definitely be back next time I’m in town. - Spacious, clean, cozy and located in the heart of the city, which puts the local cafes and dining right at the doorstep. No direct car access, but hassle-free! Secure parking is located nearby with a very short, flat walk to the property.

• Helen (8/5): - Location was excellent as right opposite where we had to meet others and locatecd in the food and fun precinct of Geelong CBD. This is an excellent property. It had all we needed, a small adequately equipped kitchen, comfy couches and very comfortable beds. There was a bit of noise on the last night as people were partying outside, closing windows kept most of the noise out. We would book here again in future when next visiting Geelong. The windows were dirty on the outside and window sills inside dusty and fluffy inside, including mirrors on wardrobes. Everyone who visited us or met us outside commented on the dirty windows! There was a little bit of confusion when we arrived as no number of the door. I couldn't get the booking app to work so had to call husband back home to look at messages with host. There were a number of steps to get in, which can be annoying after a long day of travelling, but we got it sorted in the end.

Paul was very Helpful, kind and accommodating. He replied quickly to my questions which is very helpful. Thank you for a delightful stay. As I left early to catch the spirit of Tasmania, and had a car and was a lone woman, having to drop the key off was tricky. Generally this wouldn’t worry me it was still dark at 5.30 am.
• Penelope (8/5): Geelong getaway - Very close to many of Geelong's attractions. Clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. A working extractor fan in bathroom would be helpful...we had to keep door to bathroom open so that it didn't get steamy. No extra teatowel which is useful when you only hand wash the dishes. Some clingwrap or foil is always appreciated...none in unit. The carpark is difficult to find...need to advise that a turn to the right at end of building will bring you to the garage door!

The parking was very tight to get into, I am glad we parked and then didn't use the car again until we left.

Das Appartement lässt sich nicht leicht finden mit der vorhandenen Beschreibung und Adresse. Wir sind spät am Abend angekommen. Zufällig hat uns eine Bewohnerin des Hauses angesprochen ob sie helfen kann...das war unser Glück! Alleine hätten wir noch lange und wahrscheinlich ergebnislos gesucht!

• Vicki (7/5): Our stay was enjoyable once we found it...the parking was challenging... - The room was nice and it was in the center of town. The big tv was good. Once we found the apartment and passed the challenge of parking our car... we enjoyed our stay. Finding the apartment was difficult to say the least. We were drip fed instructions that were sent to me out of sequence. Very frustrating. A detailed map to find the accommodation would have been much better. The streets were very poorly signed. Not the owners fault of course, but added to the challenge of finding the accommodation.

Great location for restaurants and bars as well as easy access to the Spirit of Tasmania. Entering the apartment felt like 'coming home' - very fresh, airy and comfortable with everything we could have wanted. There is nothing I didn't like.

• Carolyn (10/5): Big beautiful apartment, everything you need at your fingertips. Close to the shops and takeaway - Wow this accommodation was amazing, it’s was clean, comfortable, big shower and the water pressure was amazing! Paul was an amazing host we had everything we needed, the beds were so comfortable and having the shops so close was good as we got pizza just downstairs after a long day of travelling. Parking was great and the fact it was in a locked down car park even better. We stayed on a Friday night so unfortunately the pub had a band which was very loud so sleep was difficult. This is not the hosts fault at all and we understand that.

Apartment was clean and beautifully appointed containing everything you could want. Secure undercover parking a bonus Excellent communication with landlord
• Jeannette (6/5): Comfortable but lacking some basics - The beds were ok and the lounge suite was comfortable. It was also close to plenty of dining places On arrival, we couldn't work out the parking and tried to call the host and 40 minutes later we entered the parking garage on our own. The parks are tight if you have a suv. The toilet when flushed didn't stop filling for a good ten minutes and was noisy which was annoying at night. There was no milk supplied for coffee or tea or even a water bottle. The little things that make a stay enjoyable. Had a 2 night stay but had to leave after 1 and asked about a refund or a night another day if they could re book it but didn't even get a reply. Would probably prefer a hotel with a more hands on approach.

• Vicki (9/5): Great location - Great location, very spacious Unit. No night time noise. Would definitely book again if coming back this way! Trying to find the carpark wasn't easy, as where it was located it didn't really look like somewhere you could drive. We had to try & park somewhere else first to be able to collect keys for room & carpark. Finding available parking in the area to do this was difficult. However, once we walked around & got the keys & discovered where the carpark was, it was easy!

Highly recommended. - The apartment is enormous, with one 2-modes AC in the living room (which can cool/heat the entire apartment as long if bedroom doors are open) and 2 sofas, each fits 1 small adult. Dining table has 6 chairs, suitable for 2 small families. The room has lots of plates in different sizes, with various cooking tools for any meal you want. Large bathroom. Friendly owner with attention to your special needs if necessary. The apartment's view is a bit tight, mainly on the streets and a parking lot. Not suitable if you are looking for a sea-view stay.

• Joan (9/5): Have recommended the apartment to family members. NOT recommending to use Booking.com - The apartment was in a great location, usually when in Geelong we stay near the beach. However this time we chose to be in the CBD and near trendy Little Malop St and we weren't disappointed. A great area for wine bars, eateries, and entertainment venues. So quiet as no through traffic due to bollards in place. We loved the area, the apartment, and the off street parking for our car. Not the owners fault but when I paid for the stay with my Visa card I was charged an International Transfer Fee. This has never been charged when I have booked with Booking. com previously. I will definitely think twice before using Booking. com in the future. I had no way to check with Booking.com so I was pretty frustrated by this.

Very well maintained apartment in a precinct full of historic buildings and warehouses that have been converted into cafes, pubs and restaurants, right on your doostep. • Alison (10/5): Was exactly what we needed in a good location. - Neat. Clean and tidy. Nice location. Everything worked and was immaculate. Wish it had more towels. There was only 2 standard sized towels and as we were 2 women with longer hair, it was a bit inconvenient.
• Lisa (5/5): Passable - The location was great, but it was noisy until 11.00pm as it is next door to a popular licensed premises with live music and walkway where people gather/spill out onto the alleyway. Unfortunately one of the bedrooms was overlooked by the cleaners so sheets were not changed from last person sleeping there. Maybe a clean set in one of the wardrobes could have avoided the need to do last minute makeshift arrangements.

The Geelong Art Gallery was directly across the road, and with great parking on-site, I didn’t need to move my car the entire stay. The apartment was self-contained and had everything we needed, making it perfect for our short visit. Instructions to get there were clear, and check-in was seamless. Paul, the host, was fabulous. His communication was excellent and he was incredibly accommodating. I’ll definitely be back!
