Guest Reviews
- Aerre (7/5): Una piacevole settimana a Napoli e Procida e siti archeologici. - Posizione. Pulizia.poggiolo.
Comodità a ristorantini, pizzerie e bar in Corso Umberto e via Duomo.❤️❤️❤️

Bisschen laut
- Sophie (8/5): - Bien placé, personnel à l’écoute Bruit de l’avenue
Petit dejeuner sommaire
- Maria Paschalina (10/5): Great experience in Naples - The self check in process was very easy. The stuff were available to contact anytime if needed. Very clean and nobody bothered us during our stay there. Nothing major that I did not like the only thing I did not love was that since the property is on a Main Street although the location it self is really central and convenient, you can go everywhere by foot during the day it’s very loud.
- Ashoteo (9/5): Definately recommend to stay here - Excellent location, close to the Historical center and two metro stations, 1st floor, large room, jacuzzi. The water pressure in the shower.
Jinak - TOP!!!!

- Charlotte Blum (7/5): - Schön gestalteter Raum, bequemes Bett. Super Lage, von hier aus kann man alles gut erreichen, vieles sogar zu Fuß. Mir persönlich war es leider einfach zu laut. Hatte bei der Buchung übersehen, dass es an einer sehr großen, lauten Straße liegt.
- Pauliy (7/5): - It was a big room very central that you can walk in the heart of Naples It is a little bit noisy during the night.
- Manu (8/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): perfect stay close to the city center and the metro universita, highly recommended - good response, speedy, and fast response to what we need.
location is perfect. everything is on foot. nothing much.
- Angel (6/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): Stay was brilliant would highly recommend - The location
- Alin Marian (10/5): - Ottima la pozione. Il personale e sempre disponibile. Un po rumorosa. Colpa dei vetri.
- Manel (7/5): Good stay - Position; coffee machine; simple check in/out; wooden floors. Bathroom: shower would flood the floor and carpet cant dry up in time for next shower.
- Marie-Alix (10/5): -
- MarcoZobbi (5/5): - Quasi nulla Quasi tutto
- Claudia (8/5): -
- Keith (6/5): Huge potential if they get the essentials right ! - Really liked the size of the room, the location and the bed was comfy No towels on arrival
Had to ask for clear towels several times . When I left towels in the bath I assumed that was an indicator I wanted them changed
The instructions to get into the building and get the keys is quite confusing . I fee a demo video or someone to talk the person through it would work well
Shower gel was always running low and was empty before the last day. Had to improvise.
I don’t believe the sheets were changed once in the whole week
There was also no toilet roll in the room the first night .
I arrived at 12am and no toilet roll or towels was a big issue .
- Przemyslaw (5/5): - Do atutów napewno należy lokalizacja, przemiła obsługa Państwa z baru obok która wydała Nam klucze i je odebrała. Na moją ocenę miało wpływ kilka rzeczy - nie działał internet dopiero ostatniego dnia przed wymedlowaniem został naprawiony, TV nie działał, klimatyzacja jest chyba uszkodzona, musiała cały czas pracować aby delikatnie schłodzić pomieszczenie, do tego głośna. Właściciele mogli by zwrócić uwagę na kamień który znajduje się wszędzie i można go postrzegać jako brak czystości. Co jakiś czas można też wymienić plastikowe akcesoria w łazience. I dajcie zawieszkę nie przeszkadzać.
- Marilia (9/5): -
- Callum (5/5): Good for a couple of days, but consider somewhere else for a longer stay - It is close to the train station and the city centre and the room was big The bathroom had a very bad smell, there was constant very loud traffic noise, making it difficult to sleep. The air conditioning didn’t work very well, the shower head sprayed water everywhere. Our room was only cleaned once during a 7 day stay.
- Alicja (10/5): -
- Sopasis (7/5): -
- Leticia (8/5): Ok place to stay for one night, close to the touristy areas. - the location was convenient and the place was clean. The staff was nice even if communication was difficult because of language barrier. We arrived earlier than check-in time and wanted to drop off our bags before going to lunch. We found the door to the “hotel” easily enough, but the door was locked and there was no intercom or information on how to get in. Out of desperation I entered the cafe next door to ask the staff if they knew how to access the hotel. It turns out, they run the place and I could leave the bags there and come back at 2pm to check in with them. A bit nuts that this was not informed beforehand.
The bathroom had a weird smell. I understand the building is old and that’s probably why, but it would have been nice to have some sort of air freshener (or option to use it) to mitigate the strong smell.
- Jill (9/5): Great centrally located place to stay with all you need for a few days in Naples - The apartment is centrally located for the train station and ferry. The air conditioning was great and the room is very spacious and clean. The room had a fridge for some cool drinks which is important in hot weather. The room was great value for what you get.
Heading 2-3 min uphill walk from the accommodation is a number of streets with lovely restaurants and lively bars.
The bed was large and comfy with a mezzanine sofa area. Overall though, a clean and comfortable place to stay The checkin was a little chaotic (but Naples was generally chaotic) through the cafe downstairs, where you also have breakfast of coffee, water and a pastry. There is an extra charge for checkin after 8pm. The hosts were however responsive when you needed them.
The decor is a little slapdash and economical, while all quite new, is already showing signs of wear and tear.
- Janset (5/5): Passable -
- Paula (8/5): Very good - Location was noisy but staff and room were great.
- Holmes (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks for being so welcoming! - Excellent location to the port, distance from airport, and nearby shops. The furnishings were very nice and the furniture was extremely comfortable. Can’t think of anything.
- Djs (10/5): Lovely Brief Visit. - Half way between railway station and Naples centre. Easily walkable distance. Allowed us to leave luggage to sightsee before catching train. Good Italian breakfast. Annalisa was wonderful. Luggage went up in their lift.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The room is REALLY big and the bathroom as well. The location is really central and easy to reach out. The breakfast is in a cafe just next to the hotel and you can get a croissant, coffee and orange juice. The staff there was really kind as well. Would recommend! Nothing, all good!
- Donna (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (7/5): Good - First impressions of this accomodation were not good, the large front door being covered in graffiti and small area inside being very dark, grubby and dingy. It certainly didn’t match the name! The lift didn’t inspire us either, so we chose the stairs instead.
The room however was good, spacious enough and had a French styled balcony with a good view down Corso Umberto 1.
Bed was very good, as was the bathroom, tho shower was a little cramped being an unusual shape.
Location was good for our purposes; easy walking to Duomo, Via Tribunale, museums, station etc.
One downside is the noise of the street. It is very busy and was noisy, all night long with traffic, passing people and roller cases and motorbikes but the bedroom was better insulated than the bathroom .
Breakfast was provided at the
cafe downstairs - nothing special but the staff there especially the owner, were very good and helpful and friendly despite my poor Italian! My hot chocolate was great, croissants fresh and there were other options too.
- Roger (8/5): City Break in Naples - Excellent location-close to the city centre.
Very friendly staff in the cafe below-nice continental breakfast to start the day.
Very good pizzeria just opposite our accommodation which we visited 3 times. Unfortunately my wife had issues with the lock on the front door due to her claustrophobia but that wouldn't be a problem with most people.
Otherwise a excellent stay.
Don't be put off by the graffiti on the front door!!
- Maciej (9/5): Very nice, safe and close to Centro storico! - Very nice big room! Cosy and clean with jacuzzi in the bathroom-good solution after all day on foot! Very friendly and helpful staff! A bit noisy-the loud street is next to the room but: it is Napoli center: it is always loud out there :)
- Francesco (10/5): The room and location were perfect. We had everything we needed included in the room. The staff downstairs were very fri -
- Lik (2/5): Hotel location is good but too much street noises you can not sleep !! - good location. very poor street noise isolation, breakfast 1 coffee 1 croissant and MO MORE very poor street noise isolation, breakfast only 1 coffee 1 croissant NO MORE
- Isabelle (10/5): We loved it! - We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The food was amazing and the location is perfect. We also loved the room. Nothing we didn't like.
- Lena (8/5): Very good - perfect location to explore and great hideaway after spending the day in the buzzing city, very clean, easy organization ( we arrived very early before check in time)
- Lisanne (7/5): Great stay! - The room is spacious and clean. Beautiful shower and comfertable bed. The room is located on a busy road. Do be aware that you'll have noise the entire night. if you dont mind these things and can sleep through it, the property is perfect.
- Amina (10/5): Great value for money, great location! - Great location, close to everything and only a 15 minute drive from the airport! The owners were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived early. Good size rooms overviewing the Main Street.
- Vasquez (10/5): Relax - The service was really good. The room was so clean and so lovely people they help me in everything. Everything was good.
- Sam (8/5): Very good - Far enough from the station and close enough to the hub of Naples.
Staff were really friendly The main road it was on - however that is completely on me for not checking where it was
- Marieta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dylan (1/5): We left and lost our money, it is very noisy next to the main road, loud and constant, no silence. - We lost our money because we couldn’t deal with the noisy traffic environment, we switched hotels due to the noisiness. We asked for a refund but were not given one. We were told to wear ear buds - haha - that seems very luxurious. The street it is on is very, very busy, and the cars are very loud being on the main road in the city. It isn’t appropriate for a honeymoon or luxury experience. But the sound through the apartment is never ending traffic. We did get given some free drinks when we changed hotels, but lost a lot of money on this booking which was very frustrating for a honeymoon. The noise in the room was constant and very loud. Not good at all for our honeymoon. We should have read the other reviews before booking as this property doesn’t do refunds. We left very frustrated but were kind to the staff onsite as it wasn’t their fault. Staff did what they could to help us including offering changing rooms, and offering ear buds, and free drinks when we left, but at the end of the day it just wasn’t the right room for our trip, and it would have been nice to receive some kind of refund as now they have taken our money for nothing and could have rebooked more people into the room.
- Sofia (10/5): Exceptional - The property is very well located. From walking distance to the train station and the old city of Naples where you can find multiple historical locations. It was very nice and clean with everything you need for a cozy stay. Ana Lisa was very kind and helped us find transportation. I traveled with my daughter and never felt unsafe in the area, even at night. I recommend to anyone visiting Naples!
- Marina (9/5): very nice and recommended - the person in charge Annalisa was do nice and helpful it is a bit noisy but this is Napoli central area
- Kate (9/5): Superb - Great location, new property that is well maintained On a main road so was noisy but had good windows etc
- Ellison (7/5): Good location, clean and comfortable. - Good location, big room and nice to have some space with TV, air con and dining area.
We could drop off our luggage early for free of charge, very helpful!
Friendly cleaner :) Check in didn’t seem very professional for a luxury apartment. We arrived at the cafe and had to wait which was fine but was sat feeling a bit confused.
Friendly staff at the cafe however, we found it was nosy at times. Especially when the tv was on in the cafe or staff were outside of our room.
- Nohora (8/5): Great location and room for a short stay - Great location. Despite it is located on a main street there’s no noise. Clean and spacious room, perfect for a short stay. The building is too old and the elevator is very uncomfortable, barely fits 2 people with very small bags. Also, the hostess doesn’t speak English so it was very difficult to understand her. Apparently she was in a hurry, and despite we told her we didn’t understand Italian, she kept talking very fast. Didn’t really like the service.
- Manuel (8/5): It was a short and nice stay. Properly was perfectly taken care of - The property was clean and spacious. Well located where we wanted. Close to the stop for airport bus. No too much of impediment, but the English communication was not the best
- Sean (10/5): Exactly what we needed in Naples, great hosts and perfect location - Perfect location A little noisy
- Daniel (8/5): Nice place. Nice people…overall a very pleasant stay! - Very Friendly staff. Very Nice large room. Close to everything. Located at a busy street, so a bit noisy - but we expected that, so…
- Paolo (8/5): Very good -
- Zuzana (8/5): Very good -
- Becky (10/5): Exceptional - Great central location. Nice clean room with big bed! Easy check-in and breakfast (pastry and coffee) from the cafe underneath is lovely.
- Cinzia (10/5): Staff superlativo -
- Marshall (10/5): Exceptional - If you take all of the good things of an Air B&B and all of the good things of a hotel and combine them, you get Palazzo il Convento. When I left I felt like I was leaving family. The room was luxurious and huge. And the bed, WOW!
- Zsombor (10/5): Exceptional - Annalisa is very friendly and helpful.
Location is perfect because the port and also the main station is close.
The room was clean and the bathroom was quite big.
We had a fridge with useful items for free which was also restocked and snacks in the room which the restocked as well.
Daily cleaning for the room which was amazing when we came back from Vezuvius. For non Italian speakers getting the keys and communication is not that easy but everything else makes up for it.
- Alma (8/5): Very good -
- Tatiana (8/5): Very good - Annalisa is a nice and welcoming host. We didn't have any problems in communicating with her even without speaking any Italian, and she helped us with all our requests.
The room had all the necessary equipment, and even some complimentary snacks and drinks. The bed was very comfortable!
The location is central and easy to reach, perfect for exploring the city. There are a lot of bars and restaurants around.
- Patriarca (9/5): Overall a good choice, it was a work trip but eventually it turned out a pleasant visit to Napoli. - It is located strategically near University Federico II and to the very historical center, and it is half way between two metro stations. The room was nice and there was a good internet connection, a small problem with the connection was solved promptly by the personnel.
You can have breakfast in the room or at the tables outside where they have a gazebo beside Corso Umberto I.
- Miwa (2/5): A disappointing and disrespectful stay. - The location was central - close to the main road and also the port. The reception upon our arrival and the experience of our stay was unfortunately the worst we’ve ever experienced (and we’ve traveled quite a bit…) - though our arrival time was communicated & aligned via message, the hotel was completely unprepared for us. From telling us our reservation didn’t exist, to making us wait in the heat for an hour as the man receiving us (unsuccessfully) tried to reach the boss to confirm logistics, when we were finally able to enter our room 2 hours after check-in time, we found the cleanliness of the space (specifically the bathroom and toilet) to be very disappointing. If there are other options available to you in Naples, I’d steer clear of this one.
- Margaret (7/5): Naples mini break - The room was nice.
Very clean.
Comfortable bed.
Lovely comfortable bathrobes. City tax surprise and late check in fee - staff demanding cash at first but eventually took card payment. .
Staff coming into room / unlocking door from outside without first knocking.
Poor quality coffee..not hot. Served on cardboard disposable tray that had been used previously - dirty.
Shabby cafe for breakfast. Not a clean place.
No WiFi code information.
Could not operate the TV.
Very noisy location...traffic outside.
Entrance downstairs very dirty. Poor first impression.
- Alexandre (3/5): Poor - Very noisy location, impossible to relax day or night because of traffic on the street and poor noise isolation
- Khaled (7/5): Good -
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great !!! Annaliza is a sweetheart and very helpful . She is anytime available . Spacious room , great bathroom and bed
- Sandeep (10/5): Amazing - Brand new property, very clean large room, helpful hosts. Also the fridge was stocked with complimentary prosecco, soft drinks, and also there was complimentary snacks. Very good value for the quality you get Nothing, excellent property
- Patricia (1/5): unfriendly, loud and not recommend - nothing was to like staring with very unfriendly welcome
secondly we had to pay twice as at the accommodation they were not cooperative and terrible pushy to have a second payment
very loud directly at the street
the room door was not secure to close
- Mohammed (10/5): excellent - The design of the apartment, its spaciousness and attention to all the details, was very nice
