- Vanessa (7/5): The place is very simple and small, only for one person and short stays. - Good location, near King's Cross. The owner answered my questions very quickly. The Italian restaurant shown in the photos is very old and very different than it appears on the images. There are lots of stairs to get into the apartment. I had a big suitcase and it was very difficult to take it there. The apartment is not so beautiful as it appears on the pictures. The walls need a new painting. The heating sometimes made a lot of noise, and also the trains can be heard each 5 minutes. The description says there is a dining area and a desk and seating area, but does not disclose they are the same. There is only one old chair to seat and there is no wardrobe or closet. There is a washing machine in the building, but the dryer only centrifuges the clothes and you have no place to hang them. I stayed 25 days in the apartment and there were no towels or linens to be changed. When I asked the owner about that, he said I should pay 60 pounds by bank transfer, but no credit card accepted. When I got there the TV was not working and it took about 5 days to have it changed.
