• Sakara (9/5): - Beautiful apartment with a lovely terrace that is close to the Alhambra in a quiet and lovely part of the city. The clothing washer was a great support too, since we've been on the road for a while. Thanks! Just be sure you know what apartment you're booking. We thought we booked the cave because of all the pictures, but it was the one with the terrace. All is well.

• Joseph (8/5): - The location was excellent for exploring the cave houses, old town, and Alhambra. It is a lot of walking up and down hills, which we enjoyed. It was spacious. They said that there was coffee and tea available and there wasn't. There were wine glasses but no bottle opener. The staff was not on the premises and unresponsive to any communication.

• Marcus (8/5): Gerne wieder! - Tolle Wohnung im Patio , sehr schöne Terrasse, tolle Lage. Nette Service Kraft die zufällig sehr zur Hilfe war. Whg gut zu finden. Mit dem Auto etwas schwer hinzukommen. Auf Grund der Straßenlage. Aber nicht das Thema für uns. Auto muss eh irgendwo geparkt werden. Code Übermittlung ein wenig schwierig aber alles machbar und per Nachrichten schreiben möglich.

• TYRONE (5/5): A real let down due to been cold and asking for some heat but were not given any! Only an Air con unit blowing heat into - The outside area was lovely. Cosy & Rustic inside The bed was uncomfortable and small. Did not like the memory foam pillows & the lack of bed blankets none spare and we were cold. We both got cold and asked if we could put on the fire, as there was wood. The owner messsged me to say they would put the heating on for us! I guess this was remotely done as the thermostat was hidden away and we had no access to heat the place. No heating ever came on. My wife put a sheet/Throw over around her and kept her coat on as we watched some tv. We did put on the Air con but with heat! That was better but it only heated the bedroom as that’s where it was located. We went to bed in the end as it was warmer than watching tv. I felt in this year 2026 this was ridiculous. We won’t stay here again which is a shame as it was our 2nd time staying here as we stayed here 2 years ago in May. Real shame

• Vasiliki (10/5): - Exceptional stay! we really liked the design of the apartment - very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The staff was very responsive with everything we asked for such as help find a parking area or how to get a taxi. The location is just perfect - lots to do around in the area such as small cafes, artisan shops ans bars. -

• Amy (7/5): - The cave itself is beautiful and so quirky, located in a lovely area of the old town (if not a little noisy as it's located on some steps that pedestrians walk through day and night). We wanted somewhere unique to stay and this was definitely it. Unfortunately, there are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, we were told we could leave our bags from 1pm (check in at 3pm). We had travelled by coach and a 50 mins walk to get there so were desperate to leave our bags. However, this isn't possible as there is noone there. We spent a long time knocking on doors, trying to ring the number which didn't work, and then emailing. (The signal is very bad by the apartment which didn't help). Luckily we were able to check in 20 mins early but it meant carrying our bags around longer than we had wanted on a hot day. A couple of other niggles - we appreciate it's a cave but the paint is flaking off everywhere. It was flaking off all over the floor, into our clothes... Onto my husbands head (which was quite funny as we only realised when we were out for dinner). But not ideal to be covered in paint flakes. The bath is the same - it's a lovely bath but it needs some attention as we were sat in a bath of paint flakes. There was also no shower gel by the bath (the container was empty - which we did tell the hosts and they apologised so all good!) but it was just another niggle. It would also be good to have another bath mat for the bath instead of having to go to the shower room to get it.

• M G (6/5): - Era muy acogedora, estaba todo bastante limpio y la cama y el sofá eran muy cómodos, se ha podido descansar bien cuando llegamos estaba todo muy bien lo malo fue que al rato de llegar, ciertas luces de la casa empezaron a fallar, nos pusimos en contacto con el propietario y nos dijo que era de un problema del barrio que a ver si al día siguiente podían mandar a un técnico a revisarlo. No nos pareció un problema porque funcionaban algunas aunque con poca intensidad pero no estábamos a oscuras. a la que volvimos al apartamentos de haber estado fuera llegamos y no funcionaba ninguna luz ni si quiera un poco y ya fue cuando nos preocupamos porque al ser una cueva no había nada de iluminación. Nos volvimos a poner en contacto con el propietario, conseguí hablar con el por teléfono solo que al entrar a desconectar los deshumidificsdores (pensando que podía ser uno de los problemas de luz) se colgó la llamada porque no hay cobertura dentro. Le volví a llamar 10 veces y no me lo cogió, mientras que me escribía y y me decía que no podía hacer nada porque era un problema del barrio cuando es mentira porque las demás casas. incluso si otra vivienda que la teníamos encima tenía luz. Después de ser insistente durante media hora nos dijo que se había puesto en contacto con la compañia ( un poco raro a las diez de la noche) y casualmente empezaron a funcionar sin problema todas las luces.

La calefacción no podíamos controlarla porque era central, si ellos no encendían la suya (vivían arriba) no nos llegaba a nosotros pero estuvimos cómodos igualmente

Le lit n'était pas fait et je me suis rendue compte trop tard pour appeler qu'il n'y avait ni couette ni couverture. -le propriétaire avait annoncé sur le site qu'il y aurait quelqu'un à l'arrivée pour nous accueillir. En fait personne n'était là et nous avons attendu 15mn devant la porte avant de pouvoir joindre quelqu'un pour avoir le code d'accès à l'appartement. -l'appartement est décevant par rapport à ce que l'on voit en photos sur le site

• Raquel (2/5): Cuidado!! No devuelven lo que dejas olvidado!!! - El alojamiento está bien, pero el dueño es de las personas más maleducadas y poco humanas que he visto nunca. Me deje olvidada una camiseta que para mí tenía valor sentimental y le pedí por favor que me la enviara por correo ya que soy de otra ciudad y no podía ir a recogerla y que por supuesto yo pagaba los gastos de envío. No solo tarda días en contestar, si es que contesta… sino que nunca me ha devuelto mi camiseta y ya no espero que lo haga. Espero que si alguien más se aloja en este apartamento no se deje nada olvidado, en ese caso que vaya sabiendo que no lo va a recuperar nunca. Es la primera vez que pongo un comentario negativo, me considero una persona con bastante paciencia, pero después de un mes intentado recuperar mi camiseta la doy por perdida. Espero que este comentario sirva para que el resto de personas que se hospeden reciban mejor trato que el mío.

• Jonatan (8/5): Buena suite para viajar en pareja - Me gustó mucho la ubicación. No se puede acceder con el coche pero se puede ir en taxi o en autobús desde la zona del parking que hay a 10 minutos. La parada de autobús está al lado de la casa, por lo que no es un gran problema. El sitio es muy acogedor, bien equipado y decorado, ideal para un viaje en pareja. Tiene una terraza muy bonita. No me gustó en absoluto el trato con uno de los anfitriones llegando a amenazar con anular la reserva a falta de 48 horas para entrar. Lo evité gracias a la intermediación con Booking. El trato con el otro anfitrión fue amable. Puede haber confusión a la hora de reservar ya que varias de las fotos corresponden a la casa cueva y no a la suite con terraza. Si solo sale ofertable la reserva de la suite con terraza puede llevar a confusión. Había bastantes hormigas en la zona del salón.

• eugenialvarez (9/5): Bonita estancia en casa-cueva - Bien ubicado entre el Albaycin y el Sacromonte. Muy bonito el alojamiento tipo cueva, la decoración muy cuidada. Tenia dos ambientes, el dormitorio con bañera (cama cómoda) y un salón con sofá-cama (el sofá cama no lo hemos utilizado) La grifería de la bañera estaba rota, lo que no hacía cómoda la ducha. Las toallas de ducha había una por persona (para 4px) pero eran algo pequeñas y por ejemplo toallas de mano había una sola para todo el alojamiento. El trato con los anfitriones ha sido nulo y aunque han respondido a las preguntas y mensajes en tiempo y forma, todo muy aséptico y nada personlizado.

He was irritable and it felt like we were disturbing with our questions. It took a while to get the key code. The TV wasn’t working properly, issue wasn’t resolved.

• Jordi (8/5): Very good - The house was beautiful, especially the terrace. The location was great with a lot of atmosphere and with spectacular views of the Alhambra just 2 minutes away. It was also very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Although the location was beautiful it wasn't possible to bring the car to the flat and so we had a 15-minute walk with all our bags from the closest carpark. Another downside was the fact we weren't allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet but had to deposit it in a bin . This was quite unpleasant.

The best part is when we wanted to checkin we didn't have network..they called us and helped us to checkin..the person who attended us on call was full of patience.we didn't know spanish yet any how he was able to explain us the code and all details. The call lasted almost 10 mins. About place excellent In such small place they have arranged each and everything. They have taken utmost care to make us feel relaxed Even the instructions page were in 3 languages !! Hair dryer in a bag! They have considered all tiny requirements. If going to granada must book only this cave. Excellent job by team..kuddos

Less touristy and close to some great restaurants. Kitchen, tub, shower, WiFi all worked marvelously. Nothing! Was perfect! Hard to wake up in a cave!

• Ashley (5/5): Unique looking apartment, but serious damp issues. - It's a very attractive and unique apartment, built into a cave, and it is quite spacious and central at a decent price. The bath is huge. However, there is a serious damp issue in the apartment. When we arrived around 2pm two dehumidifiers were already switched on and going full blast - but you could taste the damp in the air. These remained switched on for the duration of our stay but didn't seem to do much. The bedding and couch both felt damp. We were only staying one night, but we could not have stayed another due to the damp issues. It's a shame, because if the damp was fixed, it would be a lovely apartment. There is a notice we found on the coffee table in the flat saying something along the lines of the damp being part of a natural cave home, but having been in cave homes before in nearby Guadix, we can say that's not true. Secondly, you don't meet a host, it's done by email and they send you a code to enter the front door. However, we were sent a link to fill in our details which did not work. So I spent about 30 minutes stuck outside an apartment in the early September heat trying and failing repeatedly to gain access to the flat. We initially called the host, and someone answered to give us directions to the flat (as it wasn't clear where it was). But on phoning them a second time to say the link didn't work, no one picked up the call, which was frustrating. Anyway, long story short, eventually I was sent another link to get a code to enter the flat.
• Sasha (10/5): Amazing expenerice in a stunning place - Such an amazing experience to stay here, and we felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. The location is perfect, it’s outside of the main tourist areas, but still not far from the centre and a beautiful walk into the hills. Unforgettable.
