• Olga (10/5): Excellent!! - The apartment is located in the older part of Shanghai, surrounded by many coffee shops and a French bakery within a 5-minute walk. There are also small food markets and a grocery store nearby, which is very convenient. The subway at Jiashan Station is only a 10-minute walk from the apartment, making it easy to get around the city. Amy, the owner, responded to all my questions quickly and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable during your stay. Highly recommended. There is nothing to dislike

• Tejas Film (10/5): - Cute apartment in a historical and trendy part of Shanghai. Many nice cafes nearby. Very quiet. It can get a bit cold at night (during winter only). An extra heater would be much appreciated.

• Florent (10/5): - Amy is a great host and was very responsible for any of our requests. We were missing some laundry detergent and she had it delivered to us in less than an hour. The place is in a great, beautiful and quiet area with a lot of cafés and European restaurants, we really enjoyed staying there especially during the Golden Week, we didn't feel the crowd there at all. Lovely place for 2 or 4, would definitely stay there again.
• Mark (7/5): Lovely stay, just a few suggested improvements - Being in the local community, the quiet neighbourhood, the air conditioning, the ease of check in, having a kitchen, good value for money. Minimal kitchen supplies (for example only 2 large cups for a family of 4). No bannister / handrail on stairs. Very low ceiling upstairs.
• Danny (10/5): Ein echter Geheimtipp! - Wir buchten dieses Apartment Last-Minute, weil ein anderer Betreiber unsere Buchung nicht hin bekommen hat. Insgesamt war die Kommunikation wunderbar. Bei Fragen auch zu anderen Orten oder zu Orten wo man etwas bestimmtes Essen kann wird schnell geholfen. Das Appartement ist gut gelegen in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Auch die verschiedenen Metro Stationen sind fußläufig erreichbar. Check-In nach vorheriger Bezahlung sehr unkompliziert. Ebenso der Checkout. Durch die Keybox ist es möglich, falls man als Gruppe bucht, , den Schlüssel zu hinterlegen. In der Gegend gibt es viele kleine Cafés. Das Apartment selber ist groß, sauber und gemütlich, man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet super und das Bad mit der japanischen Toilette ist hervorragend. Auch Kleidung waschen ist unkompliziert. Wenn wir mehr Zeit gehabt hätten, wären wir noch länger geblieben, aber herzlichen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt! Nichts, es war alles hervorragend!

• Nyman (10/5): Exceptional - I came to Shanghai on a business trip and my company is near Xujiahui, so I chose this accommodation because I wanted a courtyard and kitchen, which is a different experience from hotels. The landlord's English is great and she was able to reply to all my questions quickly.
• Yiming (10/5): Will recommend to others - This is my second time at Amy's apartment since November last year. Amy is still helpful and friendly, and she has upgraded many indoor facilities. I like living here because of its good location, within walking distance to my destinations. Also, there are many music and science academies nearby, I usually take a walk to these places on weekends for relaxing. The little courtyard is also good.

• Murray (10/5): Highly recommended for a place to base yourself in Shanghai - The host Amy was wonderful to deal with. She answered any questions within minutes. I had a coffee and cake with her and it was a real pleasure to meet her. When I asked about something like a kitchen knife she had a new one delivered very quickly although I didn't ask for it. The apartment was clean and light with all the facilities I wanted. When the temperature was a bit too cold, the airconditioning was great. I also loved the location, walking to many places. I walked easily to and from the closest metro station when I wanted to travel a bit further. Thank you Amy for a wonderful stay There was some noise from neighbours which was annoying. But they didn't make noise for long.
• Petra (9/5): I definitely recommend Amy's accomodation and am I already looking forward to coming back again! - Amy is a very kind and helpful host. Whenever I had a question she replied right away. Her cozy and well-lighted apartment is located in a tranquil residential area in the former French Concession. With an extra entrance and a little yard you have a nice private space amidst Shanghainese families. The accomodation is equipped as described; there is warm water 24/7. In the neighbourhood you will not only find a typical noodle soup kitchen but also lots of cafés, French bakeries, a supermarket, and several little shops, including a Family Mart convenience store. Two different metro stations are about a 10-15mins walk away, so commuting is very easy. Taxis I ordered via App always found the entrance gate when I entered the address. Due to the high ceilings and huge windows it can get quite cold in the main space during winter and early spring, when temperatures can get very low at night. As radiators are usually not to find in Shanghai housing, you will therefore need to use the AC. However, Amy's apartment offers an extra heater and comfy blankets which was perfectly adequate for me.
