Guest Reviews
- Tomasz (9/5): Superb -
- Jo-ann (1/5): Can’t say didn’t manage to get into the property - I couldn’t comment as I didn’t manage to get into the property. No contact 24 hours before arrival as stated tried to contact them whilst travelling down but no response. Arrived at property contacted again still no response. Could not access property. Eventually received a call asking me to send proof of my Id via messaging before they would give me code. Didn’t have any Id with me!
I advised that if I didn’t get the code I was going leave and wanted a full refund. No code given. I left. One and half hours later I received a code via booking.com email. When I returned home I contacted booking.com explained what had happened and that I wanted a full refund. They contacted the property who told them that I had stayed there. It took me three days to convince booking.com that they should give me a refund. I was travelling with my autistic daughter to see Taylor swift. This caused my daughter to have a complete meltdown and spoilt the start of our weekend away.
- Debbie (6/5): Pleasant - Good location for visiting Wembley Expensive, basic, grubby
- Sean (8/5): Nice and close to Wembley Stadium - It was clean and ok for a couple of nights. Hot water once we managed to get the shower working. There was free carparking off the road and was close to Wembley Stadium, which is where we were going to. There was no communal bit where you could relax it was a table in a bedroom, so it was no good if the people wanted to sleep in that room. The hallway was very dirty leading up yo the flat buy once in the flat it was very clean. Couldn't get the shower to work on the first night.
- N. (5/5): It's not a 3 bedroom house it's a number of flats in a house. - We loved having car parking space. The area we love close to tube and eating places. We didn't have to use the front bedroom and could use it as a lounge instead, to sit around the table for breakfast and snacks late evening. The front entrance (lots of rubbish outside, grass uncut and overgrown) and hallway (lots of envelopes and flyers strewn over the floor and on shelfing) were unkempt and worried us. We had already been informed about the difficulties with opening the front door - this proved to be correct. But we did get in. Communication with owner was good and he called back quickly. He also checked, we had got in OK.
The stair carpet was dirty and dark purple - it needs a good clean and potentially being changed to wood or laminate. Using the stairs - light only came on as you started to climb stairs so with the dark carpet you had to be careful. The one step in between landings needs marking to make you aware of it!
In the flat:
Not warm enough on arrival - but we had the video that showed how to increase heat. We did and remembered to turn it off when we left.
At least two rooms: Window blinds were broken. Lamps on floor.
The laminate floor in hall way is lifting causing a potential trip hazard.
The front bedroom:
The chairs around the table - 3 were OK type and we felt confident in sitting in them but the other chairs were put up/put down type, resulting that in the evenings one of had to sit on the bed for comfort and safety. Not happy about lamp on floor. Blinds need attention.
The kitchen: Fridge needs a real overhaul - seriously needs defrosting there was large build up of longstanding ice inside the fridge itself. Opening the fridge door difficult especially with the kitchen door being wedged open up against the fridge.
There was stains inside the mugs which left us feeling that we had to wash everything before use.
But there was enough crockery, mugs, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans but again the frying pan needs replacing. We only used the gas hob.
Cupboards, door handles coming away - and the shelves need a deep clean - some quite sticky and one had a couple of woodlouse in - alive and moving. We didn't put our food in any of the cupboards.
- Lucie (4/5): Locatie was prima, op basis van de foto's viel de werkelijkheid ons wat tegen. - nvt We do have a number of recommendations:
- upon arrival it was very dark and we could hardly see the key boxes and because it concerned several apartments it was difficult to see, although the box belonged to our apartment.
- Upon entering the apartment, it turned out that the door only had a lock and no handle. This proved to be annoying during our entire stay because it was very difficult for us to open the door: it made us feel locked up: not safe!
- The furnishings were very sparse. In particular, we would have liked some kitchen towels and, above all, good chairs to sit on: we now had plastic folding chairs.
- We slept well but the beds could be a bit more comfortable.
- If we wanted to take a shower, the heating had to be turned off, otherwise we would not be able to get anything warm.
- The shower, on the other hand, was fine: an extra towel would have been nice because we were there several nights.
- Kind regards of Lucie
- Ulrich (8/5): Very nice and even a bit more than we expected! - Comfortable location regarding Busses from Airport and regarding trains and busses into London.
Bonus for people who eat kosher foods: A range of kosher bakeries and groceries and restaurants very near by. Liked the salon window on the street and the back windows to a green garden. The facade of the building could be more beautiful. The kitchen was a bit to small for the fridge door.
- Funmilayo (6/5): Nice place to stay. But it would have been great if Kofi will be more reachable. - Really comfortable location, close to underground and bus station. The apartment was clean and comfy. The communication with Kofi was poor. Could get the details about the check in process on till 3 minutes to the check in time, which was really frustrating, because I was traveling with a little baby and it made me quite nervous.
- Donna (7/5): Not wonderful but it'll do - Great location, very easy to get into central London, and felt safe in the area The communal area is very run down and dirty, the apartment needed some attention to detail, cobwebs all over and really old coffee in the coffee jar. Single glazing meant that due to road traffic it was difficult to get to sleep.
- Matan (8/5): Very good - The location is good. In a quiet neighborhood. Not far from the underground station (40 minutes to the city center by train) The apartment is nice. The kitchen has all the facilities you need. The check in is simple. The stuff is good and cooperative. The beds are small and inconvenient. There is no bed that fits to grownups. They are very narrow (only 1.40) one room is located on the main road and it is very noisy.
- Anikó (7/5): Good - Not far form the underground station to the city. Kofi was very helpful and caring. The moderate.price of the apartman represents the miderate quality of the apartman. The stairs going to the flat are awefull (dirt on the flour and wall and a terrible smell). The kitchen cupboards are in bad shape. The ceiling in the bath mouldy. The beds were too soft for
sleeping.
- Romy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Giles (8/5): Good location and good value - Very clean inside and host very attentive. Common areas in the building are very dirty
- Tracy (8/5): Very good - Very clean, sufficient space and facilities for 6 of us. A little far out of London, but manageable as it is on the tube line.
- Michael (5/5): On our part more research to any properties in the future - Location was good Carpets in staircase need replacing, to our surprise no lounge, no TV, run down appearance to the house
- Tripp (8/5): Ideal for Wembley concert - easy to find and nice little video explaining how to access the key. large apartment communal area inside was dirty and generally unsightly. A little more attention to cleaning in the apartment. Beds were very uncomfortable
- Melanie (7/5): Lovely little stay. - Not far from the station and shops. Spacious, very clean. had everything you could possibly need. Even a couple of added extras by the host. which were gratefully received.
Communication with the host was excellent. Even sent a short video explaining everything. if I was to be picky the entrance to the flat did not represent how good the flat was inside.
- Chela (9/5): really enjoyed our stay. thank you! - location, size of rooms, comfort, parking, easy check in no central living room space
dirty towel hung up on the inside of front bedroom door
- Victoria (6/5): Not the best experience but great location - The location was perfect for us as a family Not really 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom was the living room so there was no space to hang out as a family. Basic inside as expected. Decent size for London flat. Locks on door were falling off and main entrance was rarely closed properly by other occupants. Felt quite unsafe to be honest. At the very least the flat door locks need replaced. Very noisy area and other users in the block were noisy until midnight/1am every night. Not suitable for families or anyone requiring sleep.
- תומר (8/5): Great stay at Golders Green - Great location as far as our needs were concerned. The flat is quite basic, but considering that we were out most of the day, it was a great place for refreshing and a good night's sleep. Kofi was attentive and available, and made sure we managed to get into the flat. As mentioned to Kofi, the flat could use some "touch-ups" and some proper furniture added to the living room (a television will also make a BIG difference). The hall and stairs need a good rinse as well.
- Grace (8/5): Very good - spacious bedrooms
- Ozolina (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and pleasant apartment! Stayed there for a weekend away, great place with good distance from Central London and underground station! Definitely recommend!
- Yann (8/5): Very good - - The host was very kind, available and flexible. The little attentions left in the kitchen were very nice.
- The location is great and the area is quiet.
- The apartment has a good size, for 6 people. The rooms were spacious.
- The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. - The doors are hard to close, especially the main door, they have to be slammed to be closed, which creates a lot of noise.
- There is no common space / living room, as a bedroom is used for this purpose. It's tricky as the only table is there and is inconvenient when you come with a group of friends.
- It would've been nice to have bedside tables on both side, but it's a detail.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (8/5): great place for a group or friends as a base to explore London - great location for driving into London and parking space .. easy walk to the tube and 25 mins into central London so ideal. the rooms were nice and spacious and bright and the kitchen had everything you could need we all found the mattresses could maybe use an upgrade they’re not the comfiest but everything else was great … thanks
- Shmuel (8/5): Very good - Would’ve liked more duvets for a group of more than 3 people.
- Dana (7/5): nice - 3 bedrooms , kitchen, laundry machine there was no tables and chairs to seat and eat.
the apartment is on the first floor , you have to go by the stairs and this was not known before.
there was dust in the apartment .
- Jaime (5/5): would not stay again! have video of everything stated - The Beds. it was meant to have been cleaned but the floors were full of dust. I had to use the kettle to make my babies bottle and what came out was black limeacale. We were given one toilet roll between 5 of us for a 2 day stay. The bathroom has a shelf which was no use whatsoever as it lent forward. the kitchen window was a pain to close and lastly, our towels had been left in the dryer (this we found out on our second day).
- Lucie (10/5): Great stay, host couldn't have been more helpful. - The host was so helpful and accommodating with everything, really easy to contact and replied instantly. Close to shops, cafe's and tube station. Nice and clean too. Could have done with a TV in the apartment and maybe a chair or couch.
- Kojo (8/5): Very good -
- Willie (9/5): Kofi was very helpful during our stay in London. I would definitely recommend! -
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Rob (9/5): Great for a weekend in the Capital! - Friendly, helpful host.
Great location for central London, with parking! Nothing!
- Katie (9/5): Superb -
- Noorol (10/5): Excellent - Everything was great. Kofi was really helpful and we appreciate a very welcoming accommodation. No complain at all Not at all
- Francesca (7/5): Convenient for London trips and good host but needs some tweaks. - The guest touches were appreciated such as chocolate, wine and milk on arrival etc. However, perhaps check peoples dietary requirements beforehand if you plan to do things like this as we are actually vegan. The place was pretty clean but when the kids were under the bed playing etc it was clear they hadn't been cleaned underneath as there were old labels etc. We weren't prepared for no living area, partly my fault as it doesn't mention one in the property description but it was just one of those things I assumed would be there. It's therefore difficult to prepare food and/or eat any food you've bought as there isn't anywhere to sit. It was also unfortunately very noisy, if you're used to London then I'm sure it'll be fine but for us it was difficult to sleep, we could literally hear the neighbours in the garden late or early and neighbours snoring.
- Anonymous (9/5): It was very pleasant to stay, very clean and organised. -
