• Vivien (8/5): Overall, a good stay in Montreaux. - Spacious apartment at a central location literally right behind the train station and three minutes walk from the supermarket. View of the lake from the living room. The property owner is responsive. They are visible improvements made to the apartment following earlier comments. For example, blinds are now installed in the sunroom converted bedroom, and a coffee machine is available. There are also visible signs of cleaning. If the door to the rubbish disposal, point is not closed properly the staircase can smell of rubbish. The bathroom would reek of smell of the pipes exhaust fuse in the evening, although this may be an inherent defect within the building piping. Apartment is located on the first floor without access to an elevator.

• Snyder (6/5): Excellent location and friendly owner but the quality of apartment was not great. - Love the location. Super close to the train station and right in the middle of town. Location could not be better! The property owner was very kind and responsive. Very stripped down inside. Felt pretty sterile and not very welcoming. Bathroom smells mildewy as does refrigerator. The bath/shower was very awkward and the actually shower did not work…only the hand help apparatus. Expensive for what the experience is…great location, friendly owner but the apartment was bare and sterile.

• See (5/5): Good Location But Not Easy with Luggages - The unit is located directly across the street from the lakeside. The house is quite spacious. Although the unit is situated near the train station, finding it can be a bit challenging. To access it, you need to go down to the main street by the lakeside. With our bags in hand, we initially only found a staircase leading down and an escalator that went up. Luckily, we came across a lift about 100 meters from the train station that took us down to the main street. However, when we reached the lobby of the house, we were surprised to learn that the unit was on the second floor, which meant we had to carry our luggage up and down the next day after our stay. While the host was quick to respond, they did not mention the lift, only indicating that it was nearby, which wasn't very helpful.

• Yevgeniy (6/5): Good stay in Montreux - Great location and spacious apartment. Wasn't very clean and overall old and used. The shower had some mold and the tub door didn't have a handle and couldn't be closed.

• Ahmad (10/5): Extent - Clean and excellently equipped, opposite the Christmas Market and surrounded by many restaurants. I liked the speed of response and answering all our inquiries, and of course we will be back. Although these reasons do not prevent us from returning, they must be mentioned, which is the lack of easy parking in front of the building and the smell of sewage in the stairs or from the street that we smell when we go up to the apartment.
• Rafael (6/5): location is good, but did not like the rest - the location is the best from this apartment. it is not well maintained and we missed a lot of basic things to feel comfortable: not much kitchen appliances and quite old utensils, not a simple way to make coffee (we even brought coffee powder and filter, but no way to prepare), rented for 4 people but only 3 plates and 3 wine glasses available. Toilet shower also not well maintained. Bed pillows are really bad. Expensive public parking garage.

Good pressure of hot and cold water Owner/Landlord will send over in a short time when I informed them that I needed more toilet paper and garbage bag Good location. Right opposite the promenade Owner/Landlord was kind enough to allow us to check in earlier as we arrived international airport in Geneva in the early morning and took a train to Montreux right away. We were tired and being able to check in earlier to leave our luggage in the apartment was a relief instead of tugging around heavy luggage bags Rooms have no blind or curtain hence the lack of privacy especially in one room where neighbours might be able to look into the room from floors above Bathroom door does not fully shut and not being able to lock.

El - Location 10/10 View of lake … on Main Street 2 min from Freddie M memorial and 1 min from lake front. Nice restaurants below. 2 min walk to station. V spacious place. Perfect for family of 4. We stayed there 4 nights but was a treat. Absolutely everything was perfect.

• Suhasini (10/5): EXCELLENT STAY IN AN EXCELLENT PROPERTY - The location was just perfect, it was surrounded by lot of good restaurants, shops and the best view of the lake and the mountains. The apartment was well done up with all sorts of amenities. The small patio attached to the smaller room was lovely and gave a different vibe. We enjoyed our stay here. The shower area was a bit uncomfortable to use, and less flow of water in the shower.
• Verene (9/5): Lovely, spacious apartment in an excellent location - Modern, easy-to-use facilities We had a neighbour who knocked on our door complaining that we were making noise. It was our first night in the property, it was 10pm and our 3 young children were fast asleep. We weren’t making any noise at all!

• Thian (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent, opporsite is the lake geneva and full of restaurant surrounding. The room is big for 5 of us. Public parking just right opporsite. The parking need to use coin and no clear instruction during initiate communication. The response also a big slow. The light of the staircase sometime not on.

• Emma (6/5): Perfectly located, easy to access, great views, bedrooms were comfortable - Location is great, views great, easy to access. Apartment was clean, bedrooms comfortable, one bedroom is very large and worked for all three of my children to stay in. Family room and kitchen were clean if a little sparse. The shower/bath situation wasn't the greatest - can't have a bath as the door doesn't seal and the shower was unreliable in terms of water staying hot or cold etc. A coffee machine would have been nice rather than having to go out first thing to get it.

• Anjeneca (9/5): Would recommend staying here! - Very well equipped apartment. Very spacious 2bedroom and open plan living. Location is topnotch, just on the esplanade, walking distance to the train station, bus stop on the front. If you have heavy luggages, note that you need to carry all on the stairs.

• Cathrine (6/5): Close to restaurants and ferries, clean but a bit pricey - The location was good, and roomy, although a bit noisy on the main road, but to be expected. There was an air conditioner, however it didn’t work, so it was very hot inside, and wasn’t ever summer time. It was difficult to find, and the host didn’t reply to messages. We went to a restaurant next door to see if they knew how to get in and locate the owner.

• Nicole (10/5): We loved this apartment! - The place was outstanding and spacious for my young family - and we loved the view! It was close to the train station and in walking distance to the Montreux tourist sites. Facilities were great - Montreux is pricy so it was good to save money and cook ourselves in the well equipped kitchen. The host was really lovely and held our luggage for us on our departure date. Would have been handy to have written instructions (e.g. on booking.com messenger or via a sms) on how to find the lock box for the keys as we got a bit muddled on check-in - all resolved in a few minutes, so this is not negative just a suggestion for improvement :).
• Yeonju (7/5): Good - Location is super good, there is elevator from the train station level to lower level of road. Bus station for Sion castle is just cross the road. Big APT and 2 queen beds and sofa bed. Washing and drying machine was working well. The wall airconditioner was not working, they have to update the description in booking site. We had to close the road side widow at night with the dark blind, we felt pretty hot during the night. APT is located 2nd floor and there is no elevator. The bed sheet was not clean at all and I do not feel they wash them every guest visit. We should sleep over the comforter and covered with towel. If they provide clean bed sheet and be honest for airconditioner, this APT will have much better review.

• Chiaoping (2/5): What you see is what you get, expect no service or help even if needed - Very close to the pier and close to shops The owner is not fit to be listing properties- things that are clearly listed as being available are not, and when we asked the owner either did not respond, made up excuses, or tried to deflect. First, they clearly stated there is air conditioning but there is only a tiny wall unit in the living room that did not have a remote control. When asked how to turn it on the owner said we should find a way ourselves. It ended up not working as it would turn on and blow warm air. Secondly the kitchen had an oven, but no bakeware or aluminum foil. When we asked they initially said we should just look for it because they had it, but then said the store was closed so they couldn’t buy it for us and we never received any. Third this property was supposed to have a hot tub/jacuzzi but there is no plug so no water can be retained for a bath. The owner ignored our questions regarding this and then said they could not take a look because they were out of town. Additionally upon entering there is a bad smell of sewage.

• Peh (8/5): Perfect apartment stay for family travel - The apartment located just in front of the lake side. Walking distance from Montreux Train Station. Multiple choice of restaurants available. Bus station just a few step from the apartment. The apartment is very spacious with two room, kitchen and living room. Perfect for family stay. I strongly recommend and will book this apartment again next time.
