• Marlies (9/5): Aanrader op ideale locatie in Venetië - Hele goeie locatie, vlakbij de Rialto Brug en op wandelafstand van veel andere bezienswaardigheden. We kregen een zeer hartelijke ontvangst met een duidelijke, bondige uitleg zodat we direct daarna op pad konden. Het gezamenlijk terrasje is erg leuk en bied een mooie uitzicht op Canal Grande. Leuk ook dat er gezelschapsspelletjes voorhanden zijn en dat je bij het toekomen een fles water, thee en koffie krijgt op de kamer. De airco werkte perfect en de kamer was zeer net, ook de gemeenschappelijke badkamer was elke ochtend terug mooi gepoetst, Het enige wat we kunnen vermelden is dat je de kamer ernaast goed kan horen, maar op zich was dat geen ramp. De kamer had wel goeie ramen waardoor je het geluid van buiten zo goed als niet hoorde!

• Phil (7/5): This would be a perfect location and accommodation in the spring, fall or winter! - The property was clean, well-decorated and the host was more than gracious and helpful! The unit with shower included was on the third floor, with narrow steps. Given the age of the buildings, which is not uncommon in Venice, the use of the air conditioner in the summer was limited to when we were present in the room. As such, while away during the heat of the day the room was very hot and took a long time to cool in the evenings.

We arrived by water taxi. The room was lovely, bright and sunny with a perfect view of the canal and spotlessly clean. We shared the bathroom (which was just across the hall) with another nice couple, it was also spotless and we never had an issue. Would definitely stay again. Nothing!

• Alexander (10/5): Beautiful stay in Venice - perfect location! - We booked the larger of their 3 rooms with the private bathroom (La Mansarda they call it). It was much larger than we imagined. Had its own small living room, a midsection in the bedroom plus a very good size bathroom. We were very happy with the space and it seemed very private. They also had a wonderful shared terrace. Beautiful views of the grand Canal and only a short walking distance to the Rialto area. Only thing we would have preferred is a softer bed because we are not used to a firm bed.

It's right beside the morning fish market so it smells like fish if the windows are open, pillows were a bit hard for our preference.

Beautiful view, beautiful location, apartment was spotless, very well looked after, host was very friendly and informative, host needs not to creep up on people and make us jump tho(lol!) And whatever those windows are made of, I need to know. Absolutely no sound at all even though it's next to the fish market, no sound no smell,, they were insane! The balcony was otherworldly, the view was amazing! 100% recommend! Only 1 pillow and mattress was rather tough.

• Pagona (9/5): Over all I picked the place because of the view and the view and room and it was truly perfect and the host was amazing - The view the room was amazing and being able to see to Grand Canal from our window and the attached balcony was breathtaking The bathroom, I knew it was a shared bathroom when I booked it, but I didn’t realize how long the other couple took, It felt like forever to get in and out of the bathroom that we had to waste a lot of time waiting. Also, when I asked I was told there was a blow dryer, but what they had was not a blow dryer. I have very thick hair and it was horrible, get a decent blow dry it was something from a 70’s hotels, and last stepping out of shower there is a step down and all the tile are the same color and I twist my ankle bad, could of easily of broken it. They need some kind of tape at the end of the step down.

• Courtney (10/5): Perfect location - Unbeatable location in Venice! We were unsure about booking accommodation with a shared bathroom but truly, you wouldn’t even know you’re sharing. Impeccably clean! The bathroom looked spotless everytime we went to use it and we never even saw the other guests. The terrace was where we spent a large majority of our time because the view is incredible. Tea/coffee available to enjoy in the morning. Absolutely wonderful, would highly recommend!
• Paula (8/5): Great location with a spectacular view! - Very conveniently located with an absolutely spectacular water view from the room. Very close to the vaporetto station. Very clean, large and comfortable room and very quiet. It was also convenient to have access to a fridge in the shared space. There are a lot of steep stairs to climb (with suitcases) to get to the room - be mindful that this is the case. We shared the bathroom (combined bathroom and toilet) with people from another room, unfortunately their teenage daughter spend an excessive amount of time in the bathroom. This became very inconvenient over our two day stay. I assume we were just unlucky as I would like to think that in most cases people would be mindful and respect that they were sharing the facilities with others. I would definitely stay here again but only if I didn't have to share the bathroom.

There are views from the room if standing near windows, but trade off is own bathroom. I spent an afternoon on the communal balcony watching Venice float by - perfect!

Felt like we're right in the heart of Venice, yet the room was quiet and peaceful. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Had all the needed facilities and felt very comfortable. I personally enjoyed the closeness to the fish market, but I'm aware it might not be this exciting to everyone. Was a tiny bit noisy when someone was entering the rooms below, feeling as if someone opens our door. The toilet door, although very elegant, should be sealing inside some more smells and sounds. Other then that, the place is lovely

The room was really comfortable and really felt like a get-away. Host was friendly and helpful as well. The rule on food/drink is stricter than usual given the registration of the place.

The hairdryer is horrible, it has only cold air mode, which doesn't help to dry hair at all. It was super uncomfortable as I had to wake up much earlier to wait my hair dry itself after shower.

The first thing that struck us was the impeccable cleanliness throughout the property. From the common areas to our private room, everything was spotless, which instantly made us feel comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better; it’s just a stone’s throw away from the bustling city center of Venice. We found it incredibly convenient to explore the city’s famous attractions and charming streets, all within walking distance from the guesthouse. Despite the property having only one shared bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised that we hardly bumped into other guests during our stay. This ensured a level of privacy that we didn’t expect from a shared bathroom setup. Pier’s hospitality added a special dimension to our experience, and his genuine care for his guests was evident throughout our stay. We truly appreciated his welcoming nature, and it made our time in Venice even more enjoyable. In summary, Residenza la Veranda at Rialto in Venice is a hidden gem.
