Guest Reviews
- Susan (5/5): Cat smell - Great location for us by family and good pre trip communication with Leah. Quiet building. We understand this is a pet friendly flat and we had no issues when we stayed here last Fall. However, our January stay was disappointing as there was a strong smell of cat urine, especially in the upholstered furniture. There were pieces of cat food under the table. We did suggest to the cohost that a professional cleaning was needed.

- Chris (9/5): Good location, great views, nice flat -
- Kieron (10/5): Delightful stay for the O2 - Superb flat, excellent transport links
- paul (10/5): Great stay and great communication from Leah! -
- Dominic (9/5): Pleasant and enjoyable at Leah's beautiful wellkept flat! - Leah's flat is beautiful, well kept/maintained and a delight to stay in. The flat was in a very convenient location as we were attending MCM comic con at ExCel London. Overall, the flat was warm and inviting with a certain sense of charm and sophistication around it. An excellent amount of facilities were provided which included an oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, tv etc which allowed us to sit back, eat, relax and enjoy an evening in front of the TV after a long day. The bed was comfy, the shower was powerful and these things catered to our every need. Although it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay, the flat temperature was not very well regulated which resulted in the flat becoming increasingly warm even when lowered on the thermostat so we had to open the balcony door and this affected our overall comfort during our stay. An issue we had was the shower/bath temperature seemed to be affected on the last day and did not stay consistently warm. Not a massive issue but a bit of an inconvenience.

- Susan (9/5): Great stay at Leah's flat! - The location was convenient for visiting our nearby family plus close to Canning Town Station and grocery/drug stores in the area.
It was easy to use the door code to get into the flat and then obtain the keys once inside. WIFI was great. Comfortable, cozy home. We were grateful for the washing machine and kitchen facilities which worked well. The bedroom is a bit small, but manageable.
We stayed eleven nights. Communication with Leah was good and we are hoping to return again! Would appreciate a bit more drawer space in the bedroom but otherwise all was great!

- Emira Elena (10/5): 10 out of 10 🙂 - Everything was great! We have booked this flat twice now and this surely won’t be the last time. We love the area, the flat itself and the fact that it has a balcony with a great view makes everything even better! Spacious, tidy and modern flat, I can only recommend!!

- MirunaD (10/5): Perfect accomodation - The apartment is very cozy, we found everything we needed there, coffee, hot chocolate, shower gel, toothpaste, you name it. Close to Silverstone and 2 minutes from Underground, easily accessible. All was perfect.
- NAncy (9/5): - Great location for conference at excel. Very close to canning town station with easy access to central London via jubilee line. This is very much someone’s residence with all the personal belongings at the flat. I liked the comfort but not everyone will appreciate it.
- Daniel (10/5): Superbly located, extremely clean and host was very reachable and helpful. - The host communicated how to enter the property upon arrival and where to locate the keys once inside. Excellent views. Extremely tidy and comfortable There wasn't anything not too like
- Svenja (4/5): not clean normally inhabited apartment - The location is good. 2 substations just 7mins walk, a very nice Italian restaurant, supermarket and bakery close by. It's a quiet place and the view is amazing. The host was nice and tried to help enter the apartment. I was very surprised that I didn't find a vacation apartment. I stayed in an apartment where normally someone is living and not as described as a vacation apartment. This apartment is full of personal stuff and I didn't find space to put my clothes and my stuff except on a small table and the desk.
Unfortunately it wasn't very clean. In the bathroom for example the bin was full of garbage from the resident. In the bathroom there is so much stuff I don't know where to put my toothbrush and most of the stuff is full of dust.
I am sorry but I felt like staying in a personal place where I don't belong. I bet that the resident moves out if someone stays in the apartment. I didn't feel comfortable in the place and it was definitely not what I expected. Also bed sheets didn't smell neutral. It smells like personal bed sheets from someone. I mean I slept in a bed of foreign person for 3 days and the cleaning was even close to a professional standard. If you don't care about this it can be a nice place but for me it was more hostal or roommate style.
In the bathroom the host offered 2 shower gels, which where separated. No shampoo and I needed to look for a hair dryer in dusted shelves myself.
I checked my message after the check in and she informed me after the confirmation that she stays there from time to time, unfortunately I over read this part.
And time to time seems very underrated from my opinion.
- Andras (10/5): A truly welcoming and well-equipped place with a personal touch – easily my best stay in London so far. - This was hands down the best place I’ve stayed at in London so far. The apartment was clean, stylish, and had everything I needed. Leah was super friendly and flexible with both check-in and check-out, which made everything very smooth. It honestly felt like being hosted by someone you’ve never met, but who makes you feel instantly welcome. There was a warm, personal vibe throughout the stay. Leah was always available, kind, and responsive whenever I had a question. I really appreciated her hospitality and the overall atmosphere of the place. Highly recommended – I’d definitely stay here again!
- Victoria (10/5): Definitely eoyld recommend - Great location right near the station and a Sainsbury’s next door. Very clean with a comfortable bed. Felt very secure in the building
- Sw129 (8/5): Nice for solo stay - TLDR: Host, view, facilities, and easy to access
--
(1) The host Leah is always reachable through whatsapp, and if she is not available, there is another co-host who can answer my questions. She kindly offered me an electric blanket knowing london is getting cold that weekend :)
(2) The view is stunning, and awesome for people who wake up early and can enjoy the sunrise.
(3) Flat comes with a TV that is connectable to Amazon Prime and netflix (You need to have your own account!), and the bathroom is clean, supplied with shampoo/body wash. There is also a set of extra duvet and pillow covers so if you stay over 7 days, you can change it your own.
(4) The door is accessible through a code or a key, though the main gate requires fob access. TLDR: Pet-proof, kitchen size, studio apartment.
--
(1) There are a lot of plants in the flat. I travel with a puppy, and I am not sure if the plants are dog-safe. Though pets shouldn't be munching on plants anyway, just a precaution.
There is also a fairy-light-tree near the entrance that my pup knocked down a few times.
(2) The kitchen size is a bit small. I was staying for Christmas and I was trying to make a batch of brownies to bring to my family. However, it is a one-person kitchen, meaning people who tried to hover over me will get burnt.
There are also only 2 forks (literally, two!), and if I cannot use chopsticks, there would be a very limited amount of usable cutlery.
(3) It is not a one-bedroom flat, it is a studio apartment. No doors in the apartment except the bathroom door. Not a problem for me, but may be problem for others.
- Emira (10/5): It was excellent! I would definitely recommend it to everyone and I will definitely book again!! - Everything!! The host was so sweet and nice to us, replied to us within minutes. The flat had everything you would need and more and was also super cozy. The location was amazing ( metro station 4 minutes away by foot and a lot of grocery stores and places to eat also within minutes by foot). The view was, as written in the description, stunning!! Would definitely recommend and most definitely book again! Nothing
- Tao (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent housing, the home was packed with the owners items, but they were organized really well. The view is stunning as mentioned, and position was superb. Perfect stay for a couple looking to attent the o2 or similar events The home was overall pretty clean, but because there are so many things around, some stuff had some dust on them. Unfortunately while we stayed here the terrace was not accessible.
- Anne (10/5): Wonderful place with an excellent host - Leah was such an excellent host; very accommodating, responsive and kind. The apartment is incredibly cosy and easy to access; just a fine minute walk few Canning Town and with a Sainsbury’s next door!
Bed was super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and so did the bathroom.
The view is indeed stunning; felt absolutely magical to look at the city lights at night.
Highly recommend Leah’s place, it’s an absolute gem! No negatives, just a few things to take note of:
If you fly in via Heathrow, keep in mind that it takes an hour and then some to get here; London City Airport on the other hand is very close!
Suggestions:
- An extension cord underneath the bed so you can have your phone charge AND make use of the shelves overnight (it wasn’t an issue; we simply charged them in the morning before leaving, but it did mean we didn’t have fully charged phones)
- Perhaps two single duvets as an option instead of one double? (We’re Scandinavians, so that’s simply what we’re used to and our quality of sleep suffered a bit from having to share 😂)
- Vicki (10/5): Great apartment would definitely stay again. Leah was perfect host. - Lovely apartment perfect for solo or couple. Very comfortable bed. Home from home feel. Spotlessly clean. Easy and great communication from host. Great location near tube. Nothing.
- Davaney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (9/5): Great location and once you collect the fob its easy walk-in and walk-out. - I really liked the support extended by the host helping to me to rectify a mess-up by the platform. Leading up to my checkin, we had constant communications and she guided me all the way though. The place was very homey and perfect space for me as a solo traveller. It's a bit too many 'things' at the apartment for my liking. Then again I am a minimalist so can't judge everything from my angle :)
- Tity (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment! With breathtaking views! Has everything you need and much more preferred to a hotel. The host Leah is friendly and lovely and was super helpful with any questions. Check in instructions were clear. Ended up staying an extra night, that’s how lovely this place is!
Can’t wait to book again! Nothing!
- Christos (10/5): "Cozy" isn't enough to do this place justice - Everything was perfect. Leah, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful and went out of her way to help us with check in and making sure that we had everything we needed. The view from the apartment is gorgeous and it is very close to an underground station and the ExCel center! Nothing. Everything was excellent.
- Lucie (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (8/5): The flat had a lovey energy about it. And much preferred it to staying in a hotel room - It was homely and clean and perfect space for relaxing whilst I was on a course locally. Felt like home from home for the time I needed. Nothing
- Tommy (9/5): Convenient location, nice apartment, impressive view from 17th floor - 3 min from Canning Town Station/DLR, so handy for Excel trade shows, as 2 stops from Custom House Station.
- Vanda (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very cozy, with a beautiful view and all the amenities you could imagine. Leah is also very responsive and friendly to talk to about any questions you have about the stay. It's also really close to Canning Town station, and about 15 minutes walking distance from ExCel which was important to us. The area had a lot of construction going on during our stay, which made the walks around a bit difficult (path to the station was okay though!). For some reason, a lot of businesses aren't being updated on Google Maps in the area, there is actually a Sainsbury's really close to the apartment so you don't have to worry about getting food.
I can't think of any downsides to the apartment itself :)
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely wonderful stay, very cute apartment with great views. Leah (and her cohost Odin) were lovely and so accommodating. Thankyou so much for an amazing stay!
