• Evan (1/5): Too expensive for the problems we experienced - Place was clean, and its over two floors We were in Gran Canaria to take part in a very important trail race which requires us to be able to prepare food, and most importantly relax with no stress. We arrived to no electricity. - We tried to call our host who didn't answer. We received a message twenty minutes later on booking.com messenger asking us to try lots of various things which we had already tried ourselves, or did not work. After 40 minutes we received a phone call asking us to do the same things again. Two hours later we were told "between 1030-2330 you will have power" We stayed up until 2330 but the power had not come back so we went to sleep. When we woke the next morning, we had to switch all the breakers {again} and the power returned. They said it was the electrical companies fault but everybody else had electricity except us. The Shower flooded the whole upstairs wetting our clothes - The next morning I took a shower which flooded the whole upstairs. Tthe shower tray was super shallow so I didnt notice that the water was not going down the drain. There was about a cm of water pooled in my room wetting everything that was on the floor including clothing. We spent about an hour mopping and cleaning that up to avoid the water going down stairs. Again we contacted the host who organised somone to come out and unclog the drain. There was no hot water after the initial shower - We both took showers and assumed the other person had used all the hot water. It was only after the race we realised that there was no hot water for either of us. Their response is whoever cleaned up turned off the heater and we should have called them a third time to figure out how to turn it on. We realise that they did not intentionally do any of these things but we did not get what we paid 1000 euros for
