Nice big room, comfy beds. Chocolates in the room, my granddaughter loved them. Lovely huge bathroom, beautiful furnishings throughout. Will most definitely love to book next time we visit! • Simon (9/5): Hidden Gem - Great location , easy to get to. Legit on the doorstep of the MCG more or less! Good central spot, nice stroll into the CBD or a cheap uber ! Communication was fantastic. Would stay again. Beautiful heritage style room. Very hard to have any negatives ! Fridge was noisey? Curtains don’t overly block out the neighbouring property’s lights? Extremely minor things but I’d stay again.

• Maryan (10/5): Comfort, style and a touch of class. - Love the tranquility of the place and that there was no-one near us. Bed was comfortable and the heater made the room beautifully warm. Close to MCG and street parking with a beautiful little cafe around the corner for breakfast Heaps of room in the apartment with the sofa bed out. Bedding was warm and luxurious. Host was fantastic with communication. hmm good lord........that there weren't any tissues....????...I don't know, I loved the place.

It is an old house so the floors were creaky and we could hear when people were walking in the floors above and in other parts of the house. The bed of the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable, could feel the springs of the mattress.

• Meg (10/5): Amazing location - Love the location. The accommodation was fantastic. Nicole had put the heater on for us so it was cosy & warm when we arrived. The whole apartment was very clean, they have thought of everything for comfort. The bathroom was clean with thick fluffy towels. It was the best location for us to walk to the John Cain Arena for Cirque du soliel show. In the morning we walked around to the local Cafe for an amazing breakfast. We will come again for longer next time.

• Mrs (9/5): Delightful period studio in a leafy quiet near-city location. - Location delightful - close to City and Sports/Entertainment Precinct - yet quiet and peaceful with a delightful local cafe for breakfast/brunch, with excellent coffee too! Superb linens, nice tea and coffee options available in the studio. Would benefit from replacing the expensive convection fan-assisted heater with a far more economical and efficient split system air con. The bathroom would be safer with the option of unbreakable drinkware for taking medication and dental care, and to only have the handbasin available to wash dishes is IMHO unsatisfactory.

Facilities to cook our own food. While this wasn't applicable for us as we only stayed the one night, it would have been great if we were staying longer.

• Christophel (10/5): We loved the charm - reminded us of our trip to Italy but - I liked the personalised note and that the host allowed us to arrive early with our baggage. Also having a mini fridge, microwave & toaster was a bonus. Excellent service. Small thing but the curtains were hard to close and light from the neighbouring property shone through overnight. Which made it hard to sleep through. Not a biggie but thought I’d share.

• Lisa (9/5): So close to Rod Laver - The location was awesome. The property was clean and tidy, and we enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to have some shampoo and conditioner. We just didn't have any on us.
• Stephanie (10/5): Beautifully presented and a fantastic location. Great price in comparison to others in the area. - Easy to find and great location. Easy access to sporting precinct and the city- all within walking distance. Everything had been thought of inside the apartment and it was beautifully presented. Felt very secure and safe. Very cold- even on a 35-degree day. Though this would be expected with an old building. As mentioned by the host, the gate was fiddly to unlock. It was fine for me to do (35 y.o) - but it would have been a struggle for my parents or in the dark, without glasses etc. However, with a different gate it would ruin the property and its heritage.
• Nil (9/5): It was a short stay and was just a place to lay our heads at night, but it felt well accommodated. - How close it was to the venue we where attending. It also felt safe walking back at night. The room was a little dark.

• Leonie (10/5): A great location in a very clean,comfortable and definitely very elegant apartment. - The location was ideal for our purposes. The apartment includes everything we needed and was very comfortable. It needed a mirror in the bed/lounge area otherwise we loved everything.

• Danica (4/5): Probably next time spend a bit more to stay in a hotel for more privacy and enjoyment and ease. - The quick dry towels. The blankets on the bed were lush. The old style of the room. That the host/s were there in the front & the top floor of the townhouse. Could hear all the foot steps & the dog. Bath towels need to be upsized. Place is way over priced for what you get. Not enough milk especially for 3 people paying to stay there for 2 nights & 2 whole days. I thought the msg's instructions from the male host were great bc I've never been there before so I didn't know any better. Until we got there... The instructions weren't clear & were written from the POV of being INSIDE the house already or at least looking out onto the street. They were not written from the guests' arrivals POV. There are 3 gates. 2 front gates off the road either end of the house fence. Then there is the side fence on the RHS when facing the property. Nicole came out and asked if we were okay & I said yes just waiting til 2pm to go in. Prior to this but just after arrival we had to look for a good minute for the lockbox, it is on the RHS of the house. Then I tried to get in the front door with this key lol. We felt Nicole was a bit combative & defensive when she came outside & asked me what did the msg my husband give you say? Then when I went to answer she cut me off & said I know what my husband said. And we're just like okay???? Obviously she didnt bc she would have seen it was confusing & needed more clarity in areas or she would've seen his msg & understood bc they live there & it made sense to them. Nicole said we could go in at 1.50pm bc it was her house. To pay almost $600 for 2 nights for no privacy is absurd. "On the left hand side you will find the key safe. Flip down the black cover and the code is xxxx. the last 4 digits of your phone number. The large key opens the security gate (a bit fiddly) and the small key opens the entry door along the side of the house. It also operates the lock on the apartment door, which will be latched open for your arrival.
• Passmore-tippins (9/5): The shower was amazing, having cold water was good, and the bed was so comfortable - It was close to where we were needing to go late at night for a concert. It was clean and comfortable I can’t think of anything I didn’t like
