Guest Reviews
- Alan (7/5): Well located property as a base for exploring London. - Decent location, 10 or so minutes' walk from London Underground services. There is a local supermarket with good supplies within about a minute's walk of the property. The roof terrace would be great in good weather. The stairs are quite a challenge (after a day walking around London) and would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who gets out of breath. As long as you go knowing this, it isn't a problem.

- Susan (4/5): Location is great ! Stairs are a big issue narrow steep and unsuitable for anyone with luggage, older or younger pers - Location Did not understand that it was 2 flights up stairs to front door! Door dangerous to open Unsuitable for anyone with larger luggage older persons or small children should not stay. Beds are basic, bathroom taps leak and hot water failed and additional plumbing issues while we were, that was fixed in 2 days. Kitchen fit out was basic. Washing machine, dishwasher and fridge all work well
- Jennie (8/5): A fab place to stay and a great location for visiting London - Great location, the hosts were lovely and really helpful and the apartment is a great space to stay in.
- Saleh (9/5): Romantic - The decoration and coziness, rooftop was amazing. They thought of everything, every piece of furniture every corner. I’d go back for sure Staircase was difficult with large luggage’s
- Caroline (5/5): Passable - Nice area, clean and cosy flat. Perfect in the summer as it has a nice rooftop. The flat was freezing cold (we stayed 3 nights in November) as the heat was not properly turned on but was fixed towards the end of our stay. Shower leaking to the flat underneath, we decided not to use it the last night as we did not want to create bigger damage.
- Carlo (9/5): Great place to stay for a weekend in London. Best location, walking distance from NH and Kensington Gardens - Location is perfect and the apartment is really cool, you can feel like a Londoner for a week end. The apartment could be kept cleaner
- Julie (8/5): Perfect location for exploring Notting Hill, short walk from tubes and Paddington. - Location was ideal - we spent all day walking around Notting Hill and Portobello Market. The living area of the apartment was very spacious and kitchen well equipped. The roof terrace was lovely too and in the summer would be great to spend time up there. Beds were comfy and the shower water nice and hot! When we arrived and opened the bottom door it was really dark inside and there are several floors of steep steps to climb up with luggage. It would be helpful to leave lights on to help find your way. We should have researched before cafes / takeaways / restaurants nearby, we used Google maps a lot and walked up and down the road for ages trying to find somewhere good to eat (ended up with a picnic from the lovely Italian deli over the road!).
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Annie (10/5): Quirky beautiful apartment in the perfect location; - Quirky, beautiful apartment in the perfect location!
We loved our stay, you can tell the owners love the apartment. Great restaurants in the area and ten minutes to Portobello road markets on a Saturday!
We would love to stay again. We felt like we were locals 😊 We didn't understand it was one bed and one sofa bed
- Melinda (9/5): Great place to rent. I would recommend this place. - Spacious, close to bakery, restaurants, close to bus stops and train stations, close to park, great patio space on the roof, excellent response from the owner when needed. Very warm. It has a sunroof to allow a lot of natural light in, which we loved. However, we were there when it was hot, and that light really heated up the apartment.
