Judith (8/5): Once you are in the hotel we were so comfortable we had no desire to leave. - It felt very spacious. After the first steps up to the floor the hotel was on every thing was on one level. We had a large porch off our room and the bar was welcoming for hot, sweaty travelers. The manager was available to talk to about any concerns. I only wish more restaurants delivered since there were several very close to the hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the coffee shop right under our stairs. Good coffee and pastries for breakfast just steps away. The steep steps to the hotel floor. I’m 75 and don’t do stairs very well.

Staff were friendly and helpful. In addition to a standard hotel room coffee maker, a good coffee shop with pastries is located on the first floor.

They were responsive in advance when I needed to revise my reservation. They arranged an affordable taxi for me. I loved having an outdoor patio bar in the lobby and a coffee shop on the main floor. Dommage qu'il est impossible de prendre le petit déjeuner sur place, ne serait-ce qu'un thé ou café et une viennoiserie. Mais nous le savions à l'avance alors ce n'était pas un vrai problème.
Greg (9/5): Central location, comfortable room, good staff, would return - The staff was exceptional. Called me by name. Answered my questions. My tour was canceled, so I didn't know what to do that day. They helped give me ideas, given their knowledge of the area. The water pressure was good. The bath sink area had plenty of room to put your items and "settle in." The bed was comfortable. There is a water cooler in the hallway so you can refill your water. The drinks were cheap and strong, far better than I found at the local bars or restaurants. As it's only less than 2 years old, you can tell they put time and effort into updating the old lodging, and creating a great hospitality experience and team. The location was safe and close to everything in the heart of the town. Had no problem walking around. I would say it was a little pricey.

Erin (10/5): - We stayed here in October 2025 for four nights. This boutique hotel shares a building with a small coffee shop and bakery, where you can conveniently charge items directly to your room. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and tour operators. The staff was friendly and helpful—especially Carrol, who checked us in. The entire property was exceptionally clean—so much so that I wondered if we were the first guests to stay in our room! The welcome drink was a lovely surprise after a long day of travel, and the bar area was very nice. There’s a water purifier in the shared hallway, which was perfect for filling our reusable bottles. The area was quiet, and it was wonderful to enjoy coffee on our private balcony each morning. Free parking on the premises was another big plus. The only (very minor) downside is that the bakery/coffee shop doesn’t open until 8 a.m., and there aren’t bulk coffee or breakfast options early in the morning. However, there’s a single-cup coffee brewer in the room, and staff are happy to provide extra coffee packets. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Michelle (10/5): A very comfortable and amazing stay! - Centrally located close to many restaurants, supermarkets, tour meetups, etc. The staff was extremely helpful, and were kind enough to upgrade our room for us when they found out we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The room was very spacious, clean, and one of the comfiest beds we have slept on in any hotel! Would highly recommend! Nothing! Everything was fantastic.

Welcome drinks, clean room and seemed very safe. One of the best things is they had a water filter station in the hallway. Was so nice to refill water bottles and not have to buy water every day. Nice large rainfall shower. Nice size tv in the room that you could put your Netflix or Prime accounts in. It’s not a resort with a pool but we throughly enjoyed it. There is no elevator which was fine for us. There was a refrigerator in the room. You did have to turn it on if you were going to use it. Very eco friendly. Would stay here again.

Extremely helpful and knows how to make great drinks The remotes of the fan/lights are the same for all the rooms so the next door room can switch the lights in your room, happened to us twice in the middle of the night

To get to iguana sanctuary or the maya ruins from the hotel is a tough uphill walk in the heat so recommend to take a car!
Brittany (10/5): - The perfect place to stay in San Ignacio! You can easily walk to the main streets of town, and it's only a short drive to places like Cahal Pech and Xunantunich. The staff was wonderful, and our room was a crisp, air-conditioned oasis after being out in the sunshine! Our room had a balcony, but there's also a nice shaded sitting area by the bar. Although we felt pretty safe anyways, they do have security after 8pm, which made us feel even better. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again if I revisit San Ignacio.

Multiple restaurants within walking distance. Welcome drink was a nice surprise! Calpech was walkable, but would recommend taking a taxi to get there and walk back. The walk to get there was all up hill and it was hot!

No pool or restaurant but the coffee shop downstairs has great pastries and snacks and makes delicious breakfast sandwiches on certain days. We left every morning early to go on a tour so no pool needed for us. So glad we found this place.

Jessica (10/5): Boutique hotel at reasonable rate in the heart of San Ignacio - The location was great--in downtown San Ignacio and perched on the hill on the second level with a generous balcony sitting next to a bar. I met Belizians the first night there who just happened to be enjoying a drink at the bar, so it's a nice, newer spot in town. The staff--both Carroll and Gilda were really nice and helpful. The beds are super comfortable, and the AC works beautifully. They have a purified water filter in the hallway. The price was very reasonable in comparison to hotels a block down on Burns, which are older and not nearly as nice as this. Though there is no breakfast offered here, they partner with a local bakery and the owners own and operate (I believe this to be true, not 100% sure) the Daily Grind coffee shop just downstairs. The servers got to know me--try a shake for breakfast as the days are warm! Again, I saw local residents in here every day--it's not just a tourist spot. Nothing! This was a great hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

They were happy to give recommendations or call ahead to set a dinner reservation for you.The room was spotless and the king bed was super comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were great in the shower. They offered a filtered water station out in the hall. This hotel is right on the outskirts of the little pedestrian business area, less than a 5 minute walk. This is as close to a 5 star experience as you can get in San Ignacio without staying at one of the resorts.

Rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and modern. Everything about the room oozes quality with premium furniture, comfortable bed, good quality toiletries, large tv with streaming facilities. Room is well equipped with air conditioning, fan, refrigerator, coffee machine and safe; there is filtered water available 24 hours a day. The hotel does not provide breakfast but there are several good options within five minutes’ walk. There is a bar area with seating for relaxing in the evening. Easy parking available at the front of the hotel. This was one of the best accommodations of our Central America trip. Nothing

Stoker (10/5): Loved the experience! 10/10 would recommend - Love the location! The property is super clean and looks recently remodeled. Very easy to find and felt safe. Loved the complimentary parking (it’s gated) gave us peace of mind. The small bar on the property was a lovely bonus, so we didn’t have to worry about buying beer. Would have loved to received a complimentary bottle of water every day of the stay.
